9Structure and properties of solid-state synthesized poly(3,4-propylenedioxythiophene)/nano-ZnO composite显示文摘Poly(3,4-propylenedioxythiophene)/nano-Zinic Oxide(PProDOT/ZnO) composites with the content of 3-7 wt%nano-ZnO were synthesized by the solid-state method with FeCl_3 as oxidant.The structure and morphology of the composites were characterized by Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,ultraviolet-visible(UV-vis) absorption spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction(XRD) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The electrochemical performances of the composites were investigated by galvanostatic charge-discharge,cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS).The photocatalytic activities of the composites were investigated by the degradation of methylene blue(MB) dyes in aqueous medium under UV light irradiation.The results from FTIR and UV-vis spectra showed that the PProDOT/ZnO composites were successfully synthesized by solid-state method,and nano-ZnO had great influences on the conjugation length and oxidation degree of the polymers.Furthermore,the PProDOT/5 wt%ZnO had the highest conjugation and oxidation degree among the composites.The results of XRD analysis indicated that there were some FeCl_4^- ions as doping agent in the PProDOT matrix,and the content of ZnO had no effect on diffraction pattern of PProDOT.Morphological studies revealed that the pure PProDOT and composites had similar morphological structure,and all the composites displayed an irregular sponge like morphology.The results of electrochemical tests showed that the PProDOT/5 wt%ZnO had a higher electrochemical activity with a specific capacitance value of 220 F g^(-1) than others.The results from photocatalytic activities of the composites indicated that the PProDOT/5 wt%ZnO had better photocatalytic activity than other composites.Ahmat Ali Ruxangul Jamal Weiwei shao Adalet Rahman Yakupjan Osman Tursun Abdiryim 2013Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2013,23,6:1

14Synthesis of poly(3,4-propylenedioxythiophene)/MnO_2 composites and their applications in the adsorptive removal of methylene blue显示文摘The poly(3,4-propylenedioxythiophene)/Mn O_2 composites(PPro DOT/Mn O_2) were prepared successfully by soaking the PPro DOT powders into potassium permanganate(KMn O_4) solution, with the mass ratio of PPro DOT and KMn O_4 from 2:1 to 1:2. The structure and morphology of composites were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), Raman spectroscopy, ultraviolet–visible absorption spectra(UV), X-ray diffraction(XRD), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX) and field emission scanning electron microscope(FE-SEM).Furthermore, PPro DOT/Mn O_2 composites were tested as the adsorbents for removal of methylene blue(MB) from aqueous solution. The results revealed that the composites were successfully synthesized, and the thiophene sulfur was oxidized into sulfoxide by KMn O_4. The highest percentage removal of MB after 30 min was 91% for PPro DOT/Mn O_2(1:2) composite, and the percentage removal of MB was 12 mg g(^-1)after 60 min at initial concentrations of MB dye of 5.6 mg L^(-1)in the case of PPro DOT/Mn O_2(1:2) composite.
