| 1 | 5-Nitro-1,2,4-triazole-3-one:A Review of Recent Advances显示文摘The 3?Nitro?1,2,4?triazole?5?one(NTO)is a high energy density materials of keen interest for both commercial and scientific worlds owing to its reduced sensitivity,better thermal stability and high performances. It plays a significant role to replace the current energetic ingredients. In this review,we summarize various strategies involved in the synthesis of NTO as well as the existing approaches to tailor its particle morphology and sizes. The most prominent properties of NTO,such as insensitivity and performance,which are usually required to produce efficient formulations,have been concisely discussed. In addition,this overview reports on some newer forms of NTO including derivatives and co?crystals available in the literature,which can enhance the NTO features and extend its applications. The advantages and shortcomings of various NTO forms for specific and potential use are also highlighted together with the attempts made to overcome these issues. | 2 | Anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities with gastroprotective effect of semi-purified fractions and isolation of pure compounds from Mediterranean gorgonian Eunicella singularis显示文摘Objective: To explore anti-inflammatory activities of organic extract and its semi-purified fractions(ethanol, acetone, methanol/dichloromethane) from the Mediterranean gorgonian Eunicella singularis. Methods: The anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities were evaluated, using the carrageenan-induced rat paw edema model and the acetic acid writhing test in mice. The gastroprotective activity was determined using HCl/Et OH induced gastric ulcers in rats. The purification and structure elucidation of compound(s) from the more effective fraction were determined by chromatographic and spectroscopic methods and in comparison with data reported in the literature. Results: The fraction F-Et OH showed an important antiinflammatory activity associated with significant analgesic and gastroprotective properties. The purification and structure elucidation of compound(s) from this fraction lead to the identification of one diterpenoid and four sterols. | 5 | Active Queue Management Exploiting the Rate Information in TCP-IP Networks显示文摘In this paper, we propose a new mechanism called explicit rate notification(ERN) to be used in end-to-end communications. The ERN scheme encodes in the header of transmission control protocol(TCP) packets information about the sending rate and the round trip time(RTT) of the flows. This new available information to the intermediate nodes(routers) is used to improve fairness, increase utilization, decrease the number of drops, and minimize queueing delays. Thus, it induces a better management of the queue. | 7 | Sequential extraction of Cs and Sr from Ain Oussera soils around Es-Salam research reactor facility显示文摘Four types of undisturbed soil in Ain Oussera region around the Es-Salam reactor facility,located in the south of Algiers, Algeria, at about 200 km, were artificially contaminated for one year with stable CsCl and SrCl2 in order to simulate an accidental release of these elements. This study was performed using sequential extraction procedure based on Shultz method and containing six fractions. The selectivity of the extraction protocol was confirmed by analyzing some elements(Ca, C, Fe, Mn, Si and Al) designed as indicators of the targeted phases. The obtained results showed an acceptable reproducibility, in view of the coefficients of variation that were in most cases less than 15%. The results revealed a clear proportional correlation between the extracted Cs and Sr in fractions for each soil and some of soils physicochemical properties. Organic matter appears to play an important role in the soil retention, particularly for Cs where the extracted percentage exceeds to 30% in whole soils. In contrast, strontium expresses a remarkable affinity for the fraction bound to carbonates. The obtained data also indicate that the availability of Cs in the four soils is less important compared to Sr availability. | 9 | CFD investigation of the agitation in the desupersaturation during the wet-process phosphoric acid(WPPA)process显示文摘Desupersaturation is a complex cooling operation that involves hydrodynamic,thermal and mechanical phenomena.This process requires continuous agitation to avoid fouling problems and sludge deposition.The current work aims to investigate the well mixedness in the desupersaturation tank for optimal performance.For this purpose,a multi-fluid CFD study was conducted based on the Euler–Euler modeling approach,considering a multiphase flow involving a liquid phase(phosphoric acid)and a poly-dispersed solid phase,i.e.a sludge with three different sizes where each size is considered as a separate phase.First,the hydrodynamic behavior of the flow within the agitated desupersaturator is analyzed through the investigation of the velocity fields as well as the power and pumping numbers,to determine both the agitator capacity to pump the flow and its power consumption during the operation.Then,in order to assess the mixture homogeneity,we evaluated the solid suspension in the desupersaturation reactor following conventional methods and two new proposed methodologies:the first approach is to evaluate the suspension quality in the mixing system by compartment and the second consists on the assessment of the uniform convergence of the solid concentration.Furthermore,we calculated the time required to achieve a full suspension at different solid concentrations.On other hand,we conducted a detailed analysis of the solid distribution dependency on the impeller rotational speed at different solid volume fraction,which allows a good understanding of the parameters controlling the homogenization in the desupersaturator. | Asmaa Hadane Lhachmi Khamar Saad Benjelloun Abderrahman Nounah Mohammed Khamar | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020，28，8： | 2 |
