1生物炭复合菌剂促进堆肥腐熟及氮磷保留显示文摘为减少堆肥的氮素损失并提升磷素有效性,通过堆肥试验研究了添加生物炭复合菌剂对猪粪堆肥腐熟度及氮磷保留的影响.结果表明,在42d堆肥中,对照(CK)、生物炭(B)、菌剂(M)和生物炭菌剂(BM)4个处理组均达到了畜禽粪便无害化卫生要求标准.BM处理组的NH3和N2O释放累积量为2.36和0.93g,显著低于CK(8.01和1.31g),且总氮含量达23.78g/kg,显著高于CK(18.36g/kg).堆肥结束时,CK、B、M和BM处理的TP含量分别为16.41,17.16,18.51及19.16g/kg,且BM组OP含量增加77.60%,显著高于CK(50.66%).堆肥后,磷素有效性增加,并以M和BM的变化趋势最为显著,各处理的缓效磷和有效磷所占比例加合顺序为:BM(42.94%)>M(39.80%)>B(37.29%)>CK(31.51%).研究表明,生物炭复合菌剂在促进堆肥腐熟和氮磷保留中具有良好的效果.李荣华 涂志能 Ali Amjad 靳欣迪 李松龄 赵旭博 2020中国环境科学2020,40,8:17
2高分子材料在控缓释化肥中的应用与发展前景显示文摘化肥已经广泛应用在农牧和园艺业等领域,目前全世界每年化肥的使用量高达4×108吨.然而,现有的化肥在应用中具有明显的应用缺陷及带来环境污染等问题,例如在干旱土壤中不能完全释放,引起土壤退化;此外,自然界中的突降暴雨及不合理的灌溉也容易发生养分流失而导致河流污染.基于上述问题,控缓释化肥已经成为研究热点.本文从控缓体系的设计及机理等问题出发,介绍不同高分子材料包膜的制备技术及其特性.现有的控缓释载体多为非降解的高分子合成材料,如聚苯乙烯,聚乙烯等.寻找一种环保、廉价、可再生的控缓释化肥基材已成为本领域的研究热点.但环保型控缓释化肥,尤其是使用天然高分子材料的体系还大都停留在实验室阶段.另外,干旱缺水是制约我国农业发展和加速土地荒漠化的重要因素.因此使用高吸水聚合物,能赋予缓释载体吸水保水功能,不仅能增强缓释功能,而且对于干旱地区植物的营养和水分状况有良好的改善作用.在农业上使用吸水性聚合物对于改良土壤物理性质、促进种子发芽和出苗、提高幼苗的成活率、降低植物对灌溉的需要、提高养分利用率等多方面都很有潜力.鲍先扬 Amjad Ali 乔冬玲 刘宏生 陈玲 余龙 2015高分子学报2015,25,9:14
3Clinical significance of Helicobacter pylori cagA and iceA genotype status显示文摘AIM:To study the presence of Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori) virulence factors and clinical outcome in H.pylori infected patients.METHODS:A prospective analysis of ninety nine H.pylori-positive patients who underwent endoscopy in our Endoscopy suite were included in this study.DNA was isolated from antral biopsy samples and the presence of cagA,iceA,and iceA2 genotypes were determined by polymerase chain reaction and a reverse hybridization technique.Screening for H.pylori infection was performed in all patients using the rapid urease test(CLO-Test).RESULTS:From a total of 326 patients who underwent endoscopy for upper gastrointestinal symptoms,99 patients were determined to be H.pylori-positive.Peptic ulceration was seen in 33 patients(33%).The main virulence strain observed in this cohort was the cagA gene isolated in 43 patients.cagA was associated with peptic ulcer pathology in 39.5%(17/43) and in 28%(16/56) of non-ulcer patients.IceA1 was present in 29 patients(29%) and iceA2 in 15 patients(15%).Ulcer pathology was seen in 39%(11/29) of patients with iceA1,while 31%(22/70) had normal findings.The corresponding values for iceA2 were 33%(5/15) and 33%(28/84),respectively.CONCLUSION:Virulence factors were not common in our cohort.The incidence of factors cagA,iceA1 and iceA2 were very low although variations were noted in different ethnic groups.Nasser Amjad Hussain Ali Osman Najibah Abdul Razak Junaini Kassian Jeffri Din Nasuruddin bin Abdullah 2010World Journal of Gastroenterology2010,16,35:7
4Systematic review of emergent laparoscopic colorectal surgery for benign and malignant disease显示文摘Laparoscopic surgery has become well established in the management of both and malignant colorectal disease.The last decade has seen increasing numbers of surgeons trained to a high standard in minimallyinvasive surgery.However there has not been the same enthusiasm for the use of laparoscopy in emergency colorectal surgery.There is a perception that emergent surgery is technically more difficult and may lead to worse outcomes.The present review aims to provide a comprehensive and critical appraisal of the available literature on the use of laparoscopic colorectal surgery(LCS)in the emergency setting.The literature is broadly divided by the underlying pathology;that is,inflammatory bowel disease,diverticulitis and malignant obstruction.There were no randomized trials and the majority of the studies were case-matched series or comparative studies.The overall trend was that LCS is associated with shorter hospital stay,par or fewer complications but an increased operating time.Emergency LCS can be safely undertaken for both benign and malignant disease providing there is appropriate patient selection,the surgeon is adequately experienced and there are sufficient resources to allow for a potentially more complex operation.Manish Chand Muhammed RS Siddiqui Ashish Gupta Shahnawaz Rasheed Paris Tekkis Amjad Parvaiz Alex H Mirnezami Tahseen Qureshi 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,45:7
5Critical analysis of the literature investigating urogenital function preservation following robotic rectal cancer surgery显示文摘AIM To analyses the current literature regarding the urogenital functional outcomes of patients receiving robotic rectal cancer surgery. METHODS A comprehensive literature search of electronic databases was performed in October 2015. The following search terms were applied: 'rectal cancer' or 'colorectal cancer' and robot* or 'da Vinci' and sexual or urolog* or urinary or erect* or ejaculat* or impot* or incontinence. All original studies examining the urological and/or sexual outcomes of male and/or female patients receiving robotic rectal cancer surgery were included. Reference lists of all retrieved articles were manually searched for further relevant articles. Abstracts were independently searched by two authors. RESULTS Fifteen original studies fulfilled the inclusion criteria. A total of 1338 patients were included; 818 received robotic, 498 laparoscopic and 22 open rectal cancer surgery. Only 726(54%) patients had their urogenital function assessed via means of validated functional questionnaires. From the included studies, three found that robotic rectal cancer surgery leads to quicker recovery of male urological function and five of male sexual function as compared to laparoscopic surgery. It is unclear whether robotic surgery offers favourable urogenital outcomes in the long run for males. In female patients only two studies assessed urological and threesexual function independently to that of males. In these studies there was no difference identified between patients receiving robotic and laparoscopic rectal cancer surgery. However, in females the presented evidence was very limited making it impossible to draw any substantial conclusions. CONCLUSION There seems to be a trend towards earlier recovery of male urogenital function following robotic surgery. 6Effect of hot rolling on microstructure and properties of the ZEK100 alloy显示文摘Attempts to expand manufacturing capabilities of magnesium-based sheet materials are described.The as-cast ZEK100(Mg-1.2Zn-0.35Zr-0.17Nd,in wt%)magnesium alloy was subjected to hot rolling at temperatures from 350℃to 450℃using the laboratory 50 ton reversible mill with preheated rolls to manufacture the 1.5-1.7 mm thick sheet.The rolling temperature affected the sheet properties and an increase in the rolling temperature from 250 to 450℃caused reduction of tensile strength from 257 to 228 MPa ac-companied by a reduction in tensile yield stress from 237 to 185 MPa.At the same time,the alloy elongation increased from 17 to 21%.For the same rolling temperature range,the compressive strength reduced from 418 to 351 MPa.The post-rolling annealing at 450℃led to reduction of both tensile and compressive properties with the largest changes corresponding to the rolling temperature of 350°C.The correlation between the alloy grain size after rolling and the sheet properties was established where a reduction in grain size was accompanied by an increase of both the tensile/compressive strength and yield stress.Based on Hall-Petch relationship and an average grain size the correlation developed in this study may be used as the prediction model for properties of the hot rolled magnesium sheet.The results are discussed in terms of recent developments in magnesium sheet alloys and the vital role played in this process by rare earth elements.Amjad Javaid Frank Czerwinski 2019Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2019,7,1:6
7Robotic rectal cancer surgery:Results from a European multicentre case series of 240 resections and comparative analysis between cases performed with the da Vinci Si and Xi systems显示文摘Introduction:Robotic systems are designed to address the limitations of laparoscopic surgery,leading to a growing interest in robotic rectal surgery.However,certain technical limitations associated with the previous systems(da Vinci S&Si)have arguably slowed down its wholesale adoption.The latest robotic platform,the da Vinci Xi,addresses these limitations.This study aims to examine the short-term surgical outcomes of 240 single-docking fully-robotic rectal cancer resections and compare the outcomes of cases performed with the da Vinci Xi vs Si systems.Materials and methods:All consecutive patients receiving robotic rectal cancer resections from three centres between 2013 and 2018 were identified from prospectively collated databases.The baseline characteristics and short-term surgical outcomes are presented and the da Vinci Xi vs Si system outcomes are analysed.Results:A total of 240 patients were identified(124 Si,116 Xi).Median operation-time and length-of-stay were 260 minutes and 6 days respectively.Conversion and 30-day mortality rates were 0.The da Vinci Si vs Xi system analysis shows that operation-time was lower in the Si group(230 vs 300 min,p=0.000)but length-of-stay,lymph node yield and circumferential resection margin favoured the Xi group(7 vs 5 days,p=0.010;17 vs 21,p=0.000;92.7%vs 99.1%,p=0.020).Conclusion:Single-docking fully-robotic rectal cancer surgery is safe,feasible and can lead to good shortterm outcomes,making it a good alternative to laparoscopic rectal cancer surgery.The new systems technological advances may result in better short-term outcomes but further larger scale observational studies are required if we are to reach such a conclusion.Sofoklis Panteleimonitis Oliver Pickering Mukhtar Ahmad Mick Harper Tahseen Qureshi Nuno Figueiredo Amjad Parvaiz 2020Laparoscopic, Endoscopic and Robotic Surgery2020,3,1:5
8Dynamic replication of web contents显示文摘The phenomenal growth of the World Wide Web has brought huge increase in the traffic to the popular web sites. Long delays and denial of service experienced by the end-users, especially during the peak hours, continues to be the common problem while accessing popular sites. Replicating some of the objects at multiple sites in a distributed web-server environment is one of the possible solutions to improve the response time/latency. The decision of what and where to replicate requires solving a constraint optimization problem, which is NP-complete in general. In this paper, we consider the problem of placing copies of objects in a distributed web server system to minimize the cost of serving read and write requests when the web servers have limited storage capacity. We formulate the problem as a 0-1 optimization problem and present a polynomial time greedy algorithm with backtracking to dynamically replicate objects at the appropriate sites to minimize a cost function. To reduce the solution search space, we present necessary conditions for a site to have a replica of an object in order to minimize the cost function. We present simulation results for a variety of problems to illustrate the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed algorithms and compare them with those of some well-known algorithms. 11Gastric malignancies in Northern Jordan with special emphasis on descriptive epidemiology显示文摘AIM: To study the epidemiology of gastric malignancies in Jordan as a model for Middle East countries where such data is scarce.METHODS: Pertinent epidemiological and clinicopathological data for 201 patients with gastric malignancy in north of Jordan between 1991 and 2001 were analyzed.RESULTS: Male: female ratio was 1.8:1. The mean age was 61.2 years, and 8.5% of the patients were younger than 40 years of age. The overall age-adjusted incidence was 5.82/100 000 population/year. The age specific incidence for males raised from 1.48 in those aged 30-39 years to 72.4 in those aged 70-79 years. Adenocarcinomas,gastric lymphomas, malignant stromal tumors, and carcinoids were found in 87.5%, 8%, 2.5%, and 2% respectively. There was an average of 10.1-month delay between the initial symptoms and the diagnosis. Only 82 patients underwent 'curative' gastrectomy. Among adenocarcinoma groups, Lauren intestinal type was the commonest (72.2%) and the distal third was the most common localization (48.9%). The mean follow up for patients with gastric adenocarcinoma was 25.1 mo (range 1-132 mo). The 5-year survival rates for stages Ⅰ (n=15),Ⅱ(n=41), Ⅲ (n=59), and Ⅳ (n=53) were 67.3%, 41.3%,5.7%, and 0% respectively (P=0.0001). The overall 5 year survival was 21.1%.CONCLUSION: Despite low incidence, some epidemiological features of gastric cancer in Jordan mimic those of highrisk areas. Patients are detected and treated after a relatively long delay. 12神经内镜与显微镜下经鼻蝶垂体腺瘤切除术效果对比分析显示文摘目的:探讨神经内镜与显微镜下经鼻蝶垂体腺瘤切除术的手术效果。方法:回顾分析2009年12月至2012年12月收治的263例患者的临床资料,其中105例行神经内镜垂体腺瘤切除术(内镜组),158例行显微镜下经鼻蝶入路垂体腺瘤切除术(显微镜组),对比分析两组患者手术时间、出血量、手术切除率、术后并发症发生率、术后住院时间等指标。结果:内镜组手术时间较显微镜组长[(78.7±34.55)min vs.(66.8±31.32)min](P=0.014);两组术中出血量差异无统计学意义[(60.6±32.35)ml vs.(55.1±24.63)ml](P=0.943);两组手术全切率差异亦无统计学意义(93.3%vs.92.4%)(P=0.7760);内镜组术后并发症发生率低于显微镜组(5.71%vs.13.29%),差异有统计学意义(P=0.0470)。内镜组术后住院时间较显微镜组短[(6.12±1.94)d vs.(7.13±1.57)d],差异有统计学意义(P=0.0166)。结论:神经内镜手术在肿瘤全切方面与显微镜组相当,但术后并发症发生率及术后住院时间具有明显优势,代表了经鼻蝶垂体腺瘤手术的发展方向。SYEDA QUDSIA AMJAD 刘青林 贾德泽 徐淑军 李新钢 李刚 2013腹腔镜外科杂志2013,18,4:4
13EDTA-nSiO_2纳米颗粒对Cd^(2+)的吸附显示文摘nSiO_2纳米颗粒是一种广泛应用的工程纳米材料,为增加其对水溶液中Cd^(2+)的吸附性能,采用接枝改性的方法制备出乙二胺四乙酸(EDTA)改性nSiO_2纳米颗粒(EDTA-nSiO_2),并用透射电镜、氮气吸附-解吸、红外光谱和差热分析等手段对其进行了结构表征,同时以其为吸附剂,通过批处理实验法探讨了体系pH、吸附时间、温度、离子强度等因素对Cd^(2+)吸附的影响,并结合X射线能谱(XPS)分析对其吸附机制进行了分析.结果表明,以EDTA为改性剂,可以成功制备出稳定性良好的EDTA-nSiO_2纳米颗粒,其对Cd^(2+)的吸附受体系p H控制;nSiO_2对Cd^(2+)的吸附量较小,EDTA改性可增加nSiO_2对Cd^(2+)的吸附作用,随着p H的升高,Cd^(2+)的吸附效果逐渐增强,在p H大于4.0后逐渐趋于稳定.EDTA-nSiO_2对Cd^(2+)的吸附速率较快,可在1 h内达到吸附平衡.EDTA-nSiO_2对Cd^(2+)的吸附为吸热的自发过程,吸附等温线可用Langmuir模型描述.NaCl浓度增加会导致Cd^(2+)的吸附量下降,当体系Na Cl浓度从0增加到100 mmol·L^(-1),Cd^(2+)的最大吸附量从0.433 mmol·g-1降低至0.294mmol·g-1.0.1 mol·L^(-1)HCl是较为合适的吸附剂再生液,Cd^(2+)洗脱率约94.36%.结合pH、温度、离子强度、再生和XPS分析结果,可以推测出EDTA-nSiO_2对Cd^(2+)的吸附是包含有简单的物理吸附和离子交换过程,并以化学络合为主的吸附过程.EDTA-nSiO_2是一种对水体Cd^(2+)具有较好吸附能力的工程纳米材料吸附剂.蒋顺成 秦睿 李满林 李荣华 张增强 Amjad Ali 梁文 2016环境科学2016,37,9:4
14Mechanisms and molecular approaches for heat tolerance in rice (Oryza sativa L.) under climate change scenario显示文摘Rice, a staple cereal crop in many parts of the world, has been confronted with multiple environmental stresses including high temperature, negatively impacts the booting as well as anthesis growth stages. The situation is further complicated by the changing climatic conditions, resulting in gradual escalation of temperature as well as changing the rainfall pattern and frequency, thus raising a concern of food security worldwide. The situation can be combat by developing rice varieties with excellent genetics with improved morpho-physiological, biochemical, and molecular mechanisms, together can minimize the adverse effects of heat stress. Here, several strategies(encompassing genetic and genomic, and mechanisms involved) for mitigating the impact of high temperature on rice have been discussed. 15Slippery Photothermal Trap for Outstanding Deicing Surfaces显示文摘Ice accumulation is a safety and operational threat in power lines,wind turbines,and transportations.Surfaces having both passive anti-icing and active deicing functionalities are very rare.Here,we report a self-cleaning slippery photothermal trap,which is icephobic passively and deice the surfaces actively by converting sun light to heat at the ice-substrate interface.The photothermal trap consists of three layers:a candle soot layer act as solar radiation absorber,a magnetic iron oxide Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles layer act as heat spreader for lateral dispersal of sun light,and Room Temperature Vulcanized(RTV)insulation to reduce the transverse heat loss.Upon illumination under microsolar 300,the temperature of the surface increased by 40℃ within 200 s.The heat confinement at the magnetic Fe_(3)O_(4) na-noparticles layer leads to rapid increase of the surface temperature,ice start to melt and silicone lubricant facilitates the ice removal.The slippery photothermal trap removed the frozen droplet(10 fiL)within 40 s upon the illumination of sun light and the frozen droplet was completely converted into water after 7 min illumination of solar light at-20℃.The developed slippery photothermal trap also melted the fully frost covered layer within 100 s at-20℃ under sunlamp.The average defrosted length(25 mm)was also observed by irradiation of laser light for 45 s.The self-cleaning slippery photothermal coating showed outstanding deicing performance at subzero temperature for long term due to the infusion of silicone oil into the nanostructures and same chemical composition with binder.Muhammad Imran Jamil Qiongyan Wang Amjad Ali Munir Hussain Tariq Aziz Xiaoli Zhan Qinghua Zhang 2021Journal of Bionic Engineering2021,18,3:3
16Clinical and epidemiological characteristics of norovirus gastroenteritis among hospitalized children in Lebanon显示文摘AIM To assess the burden of norovirus(No V) and to determine the diversity of circulating strains among hospitalized children in Lebanon. METHODS Stool samples were collected from children presenting with acute gastroenteritis to six major hospitals in Lebanon. A total of 739 eligible stool samples, testing negative for diarrhea caused by rotavirus as a possible viral pathogen, were collected between January 2011 and June 2013. A standardized questionnaire including demographic, epidemiological and clinical observations was used at the time of hospitalization of children presenting with diarrhea. Viral RNA was extracted from stool samples followed by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction and nucleotide sequencing of a fragment of the viral protein 1 capsid gene. Multiple sequence alignments were carried out and phylogenetic trees were constructed using the MEGA 6 software.RESULTS Overall, 11.2% of stool samples collected from children aged < 5 years tested positive for No V genogroups Ⅰ(GⅠ) and Ⅱ(GⅡ). GⅡ accounted for 10.6% of the gastroenteritis cases with only five samples being positive for GⅠ(0.7%). The majority of hospitalized children showed symptoms of diarrhea, dehydration, vomiting and fever. Upon sequencing of positive samples and based on their clustering in the phylogenetic tree, 4/5 of GⅠ gastroenteritis cases were designated GⅠ.3 and one case as GⅠ.4. GⅡ.4 was predominantly detected in stool of our study participants(68%). We report a JB-15/KOR/2008 GⅡ.4 Apeldoorn 2008-like variant strain circulating in 2011; this strain was replaced between 2012 and 2013 by a variant sharing homology with the Sydney/NSW0514/2012/AUS GⅡ.4 Sydney 2012 and Sydney 2012/FRA GⅡ.4 strains. We also report the co-circulation of non-GⅡ.4 genotypes among hospitalized children. 17High-dose-rate intraluminal brachytherapy during preoperative chemoradiation for locally advanced rectal cancers显示文摘AIM:To determine the feasibility and safety of high dose rate intraluminal brachytherapy(HDR-ILBT) boost during preoperative chemoradiation for rectal cancer.METHODS:Between 2008 and 2009,thirty-six patients with locally advanced rectal cancer(≥ T3 or N+),were treated initially with concurrent capecitabine(825 mg/m2 oral twice daily) and pelvic external beam radiotherapy(EBRT)(45 Gy in 25 fractions),then were randomized to group A;HDR-ILBT group(n = 17) to receive 5.5-7 Gy×2 to gross tumor volume(GTV) and group B;EBRT group(n = 19) to receive 5.4 Gy×3 fractions to GTV with EBRT.All patients underwent total mesorectal excision.RESULTS:Grade 3 acute toxicities were registered in 12 patients(70.6%) in group A and in 8(42.1%) in group B.Complete pathologic response of T stage(ypT0) in group A was registered in 10 patients(58.8%) and in group B,3 patients(15.8%) had ypT0(P < 0.0001).Sphincter preservation was reported in 6/9 patients(66.7%) in group A and in 5/10 patients(50%) in group B(P < 0.01).Overall radiological response was 68.15% and 66.04% in Group A and B,respectively.During a median follow up of 18 mo,late grade 1 and 2 sequelae were registered in 3 patients(17.6%) and 4 patients(21.1%) in the groups A and B,respectively.CONCLUSION:HDR-ILBT was found to be effective dose escalation technique in preoperative chemoradiation for rectal cancers,with higher response rates,downstaging and with manageable acute toxicities.Mutahir Ali Tunio Mansoor Rafi Altaf Hashmi Rehan Mohsin Abdul Qayyum Mujahid Hasan Amjad Sattar Muhammad Mubarak 2010World Journal of Gastroenterology2010,16,35:3
18Ethnobotanical inventory and medicinal uses of some important woody plant species of Kotli,Azad Kashmir,Pakistan显示文摘Objective:To document ethnobotanical informations of useful woody plant species in the region of Kotli,Azad Kashmir.Methods:An ethnobotanical survey was conducted in Kotli.Data were collected by interview and semi structured questionnaire from selected local informants and traditional practitioners as well as by field assessment.Results:The present study documented the etnobotanical uses of 33 woody plant species.Most of the species have been used for dual purpose.Only 5 species are used for one purpose.Study revealed all species have medicinal value,among which 21 were used as fuel wood species,16 as fodder species,4 as timber wood species,12 as edible fruit species,6 as fence or hedge plant,7 as ornamental species and 12 species had other uses.Conclusions:Medicinal plants are still widely used for health care by locals of Kotli.Some species of woodlands seem to be vulnerable to overcollection and deforestation.As the young generation is diverted toward allelopathic medicines,ethnobotanical knowledges of important medicinal plants are restricted to the old people only.It is suggested to close the forest of district Kotli for next two to three decades for the conservation of plant biodiversity.Muhammad Shoaib Amjad Muhammad Arshad 2014Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2014,4,12:3
19Low-cost,simple,and scalable self-assembly of DNA origami nanostructures显示文摘Despite demonstrating exciting potential for applications such as drug delivery and biosensing,the development of nanodevices for practical applications and broader use in research and education are still hindered by the time,effort,and cost associated with DNA origami fabrication.Simple and robust methods to perform and scale the DNA origami self-assembly process are critical to facilitate broader use and translation to industrial or clinical applications.We report a simple approach to fold DNA origami nanostructures that is fast,robust,and scalable.We demonstrate fabrication at scales approximately 100-1,500-fold higher than typical scales.We further demonstrate an approach we termed low-cost efficient annealing (LEAN) self-assembly involving initial heating at 65 ℃ for 10 min,then annealing at 51 ℃ for 2 h,followed by brief quenching at 4 ℃ that leads to effective assembly of a range of DNA origami structures tested.In contrast to other methods for scaling DNA origami assembly,this approach can be carried out using cheap and widely available equipment (e.g.,hot plates,water baths,and laboratory burners) and uses standard recipes and materials so is readily applied to any existing or new DNA origami designs.We envision these methods can facilitate device development for commercial applications and facilitate broader use of DNA origami in research and education.Patrick D.Halley Randy A.Patton Amjad Chowdhury John C.Byrd Carlos E.Castro 2019Nano Research2019,12,5:3
20Furan-containing Conjugated Polymers for Organic Solar Cells显示文摘Development of organic semiconductors is one of the most intriguing and productive topics in material science and engineering. Many efforts have been made on the synthesis of aromatic building blocks such as benzene, thiophene and pyrrole due to the facile preparation accompanied by the intrinsic environmental stability and relatively efficient properties of the resulting polymers. In the past, furan has been less explored in this field because of its high oxidation potential. Recently, furan has attracted obsession due to its weaker aromaticity, the greater solubilities of furan-containing π-conjugated polymers relative to other benzenoid systems and the accessibility of furan-based starting materials from renewable resources. This review elaborates the advancements of organic photovoltaic polymers containing furan building blocks.
