Numerical simulation of bistatic scattering from a target at low altitude above rough sea surface under an EM wave incidence at low grazing angle by using the finite element method显示文摘To study bistatic scattering from a target at low altitude above two- dimensional (2D) randomly rough sea surface under an electromagnetic (EM) wave incidence at low grazing angle (LGA), a numerical approach of the finite element method (FEM) is developed. The conformal perfectly matched layer (PML), as the truncation boundary of the FEM, is employed to reduce the reflection error of planar PML in conventional FEM. Numerical code of our FEM is examined by available solution of the forward backward iterative (FBM) method. Bistatic and back-scattering from composite model of a target above random rough sea surface generated by Monte Carlo realization, and functional dependence upon the sea surface wind speed, target altitude, incident and scattering angles, etc. are numerically simulated and discussed. This paper presents a numerical description of the observation principle and physical insight associated with the coupling interactions of a complex volumetric target and random rough sea surface.LIU Peng JIN Yaqiu 2004Science China(Technological Sciences)2004,47,3:27
Thermodynamic simulations of pellet internal target in CSRm显示文摘Pellet target with a close to 4π detector configuration is an optional effective internal target in the storage ring CSRm. Thermodynamic simulations are carried out to describe the hydrogen microsphere behaviors in the whole moving path, and the temperature and mass changes of hydrogen microspheres are clearly indicated. The achievable experimental luminosity by pellet target in CSRm is calculated to be 1×1033 cm?2·s?1 at most.LI Zhankui XU Hushan ZHANG Xueying 2005Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2005,48,5:5
Numerical simulation of the EM scattering and Doppler spectrum of a low flying target above dynamic oceanic surface by using the FEMDDM method显示文摘To study the Doppler (DP) spectrum of a flying target above the dynamic oceanic surface, a two-level quasi-stationary algorithm (TLQSA) of the finite element method (FEM) with domain decomposition (DDM) is developed. The DP spectrum of a fast-moving target requires a small time-sampling rate. At most time steps, scattering from the flying target is solved by the FEM solution in only one sub-domain; meanwhile the interactions between the target and rough sea surface in other sub-domains are obtained by solving the global DDM coupling matrices. The slowly moving sea surface is evolved at a larger time step and the DP of oceanic clutter is obtained through all-subdomain FEM calculation. Numerical simulations of the DP spectrum from a target flying above the dynamic oceanic surface with and without a ship presence are obtained. The functional dependence of the DP spectrum in both the time and frequency domains upon the sea surface wind speed, target altitude, observation angle etc. are demon- strated and discussed.LIU Peng JIN Yaqiu 2004Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2004,47,5:3
Fast density peak-based clustering algorithm for multiple extended target tracking显示文摘The key challenge of the extended target probability hypothesis density (ET-PHD) filter is to reduce the computational complexity by using a subset to approximate the full set of partitions. In this paper, the influence for the tracking results of different partitions is analyzed, and the form of the most informative partition is obtained. Then, a fast density peak-based clustering (FDPC) partitioning algorithm is applied to the measurement set partitioning. Since only one partition of the measurement set is used, the ET-PHD filter based on FDPC partitioning has lower computational complexity than the other ET-PHD filters. As FDPC partitioning is able to remove the spatially close clutter-generated measurements, the ET-PHD filter based on FDPC partitioning has good tracking performance in the scenario with more clutter-generated measurements. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can get the most informative partition and obviously reduce computational burden without losing tracking performance. As the number of clutter-generated measurements increased, the ET-PHD filter based on FDPC partitioning has better tracking performance than other ET-PHD filters. The FDPC algorithm will play an important role in the engineering realization of the multiple extended target tracking filter.SHEN Xinglin SONG Zhiyong FAN Hongqi FU Qiang 2019Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2019,30,3:2
Fast iterative approach to the difference scattering from a dielectric target above a rough surface显示文摘The difference field RCS (d-RCS) has been defined to analyze the scattering from the target above a rough surface. The electric field integral equations (EFIEs) of the difference induced current Jsd on the rough surface, the induced electric current Jo and magnetic current Ko on the dielectric target under a TE wave incidence are derived. A small portion of the rough surface towards the target along the specular direction is taken to compute the scattering contribution Es0 from the rough surface towards the target, which improves the computation speed. A numerical iterative approach is developed to solve the EFIEs and bistatic d-RCS. The surface length for iterations is dependent on the scattering angle and discussed for comparison with Johnson’s method. Using the Monte-Carlo method to generate the Pierson-Morkowitz (P-M) ocean-like rough surface, bistatic d-RCS of the dielectric target, e.g. a cylinder or a square column, above the rough surface is numerically simulated. The induced electric and magnetic currents on the dielectric target and the difference induced current on the rough surface are numerically discussed.YE Hongxia JIN Yaqiu 2005Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2005,48,6:1
Seismic Integrated Interpretation and Prediction on Channel Sandbody of Deep Layer at West Slope in Qikou Sag显示文摘According to the seismic and geological differences among every oil measures in mid-deep layers at west slope in Qikou Sag, varieties of new techniques on geophysics and geochemistry were introduced , such as seismic pro-cess of target and CWS, neural network seismic microfacies cluster analysis, 3D interval velocity analysis. Taking advan-tage of the series of new techniques aims at predicting synthetically and quantitatively the deep gravity flow channel sandbody. Furthermore, considering the structural setting data, potential structural-lithologic traps were specified. As a re-sult, the geological and drilling effect is obviously promoted.Yuqiao Gao Li Liu Yanzhang Zhang Xiaoming Sun 2003Global Geology2003,8,1:0
Spatial Potential Distribution around Trench Target during Plasma Immersion Ion Implantation显示文摘Plasma ion implantation, an alternative to conventional beam-line ion implantation, is a sheath-acceleration ionbombardment technique and the initial sheath is crucial to the process efficacy and surface properties. The initialspatial potential distribution in the plasma sheath around a trench-shaped target is simulated using a two-dimensionalmodel in this work. The results demonstrate that the sheath structure depends very much on the trench width. Thepotential drop in the trench may be quite small and the sheath expands outward if the width is small. This leadsto a smaller incident ion dose into the sidewalls of the trench. In contrast, the initial potential distribution in thecentral region is quite similar to that without a trench if the trench width is larger than twice the ion-matrix sheaththickness for an infinite plane. Consequently, a higher ion dose into the sidewalls is possible.Xiubo Tian Chunbei Wei Shiqin Yang Paul K. Chu Ricky K.Y. Fu 2003Journal of Materials Science & Technology2003,19,z1:0
Range-instantaneous Doppler imaging of inverse synthetic aperture sonar显示文摘Because the existing range-Doppler algorithm in inverse synthetic aperture sonar (ISAS) is based on target model of uniform motion, it may be invalidated for maneuvering targets due to the time-varying changes of both individual scatter′s Doppler and imaging projection plane. To resolve the problem, a new range-instantaneous Doppler imaging method is proposed for imaging maneuvering targets based on time-frequency analysis. The proposed approach is verified using real underwater acoustic data.XU Jia~(1,2), JIANG Xingzhou~(1), TANG Jingsong~(1) (1. Navy Engineering University, Wuhan 430033, China 2. 9Investigation on non-LTE radiation emitted from a laser-irradiated Au disk显示文摘The spectral character of X-ray emitted from laser-irradiated gold disk is studied by using the one-dimensional non-LTE multigroup radiation transport hydrodynamics code RDMG. The applicability of the “three-temperature” model in which the radiation is described with thermal conduction approximation is checked. The simulation results show that the X-ray emitted from the laser-produced gold plasma is in non-LTE, and that the atom model has significant effect on the structure of X-ray spectrum. However, the plasma states, laser absorption efficiency and X-ray conversion efficiency, which are calculated with the “three-temperature” model, are almost the same as those with non-LTE multigroup radiation transport model. This fact indicates that the “three-temperature” model can be used to study plasma states and the energy distributions produced by a laser-irradiated high-Z target. This is meaningful to the 2-D or 3-D simulation.GU Peijun PEI Wenbing FENG Tinggui WU Changshu 2005Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2005,48,3:0
