| 1 | Trend of declining stroke mortality in China:reasons and analysis显示文摘Introduction There is a downward trend of stroke-related mortality in the USA.By reviewing all published articles on stroke mortality in China,we analysed its trend and possible factors that have influenced the trend.Methods Both English and Chinese literatures were searched on the mortality of stroke or cerebrovascular diseases in China.Potential papers related to this topic were identified from PubMed,Medline,Embase,Cochrane Library,Wanfang Database,SINOMED and China National Knowledge Infrastructure databases.Results Comparing the results from the most recent population-based epidemiological survey and databank from the national Center for Disease Control and Prevention,the age-adjusted stroke mortality rate has shown a downward trend among both urban and rural population in the past 30 years in China.Comparing with 30 years ago,the rate of stroke mortality has decreased by more than 31%in urban/suburban population and 11%in rural population.In men,the age-adjusted stroke mortality rate decreased by 18.9%and in women by 24.9%between 1994 and 2013.Factors that may have contributed to the trend of decreased stroke mortality rate include(1)improved healthcare coverage and healthcare environment;(2)improved treatment options and medical technology;(3)support by government to educate the public on stroke and stroke prevention;and(4)improved public knowledge on stroke.Conclusions The age-adjusted stroke mortality rate in China has shown a downward trend among both urban and rural population in the past 30 years.The major influencing factors that helped in reducing stroke mortality in China included improved healthcare coverage,healthcare environment,the updated treatment options and modern medical technology. | Wenzhi Wang David Wang Hongmei Liu Haixin Sun Bin Jiang Xiaojuan Ru Dongling Sun Zhenghong Chen Yongjun Wang | 2017 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2017，2，3： | 52 |

| 4 | Trends in Incidence Rates,Mortality Rates,and Age-Period-Cohort Effects of Cervical Cancer—China,2003–2017显示文摘Introduction:This study reported the trends and analyzed the age-period-cohort effects on the incidence and mortality rates of cervical cancer in China.Methods:The age-standardized incidence rate(ASIR)and mortality rate(ASMR)by Segi’s world standard population were calculated using qualified consecutive data from 22 cancer registries from 2003 to 2017 in China.We performed joinpoint analysis to describe the trends and age-period-cohort analysis to estimate the independent effects of age,period and cohort on trends in incidence and mortality rates of cervical cancer.Results:The ASIR and ASMR for cervical cancer in females over 20 years old increased during 2003−2017.For females<50 years,a decreasing trend in ASIR and a stable trend in ASMR were observed in urban areas after 2009.But the ASIR and ASMR kept increasing in rural areas during the whole period.For females>50 years,the ASIR and ASMR increased both in urban and rural areas.Age-period-cohort analysis showed increasing period effects on cervical cancer incidence and mortality during the whole period.The cohort effects exhibited a downward-upwarddownward pattern for the incidence(1918–1938,1938–1963,1963–1993)and mortality rates(1918–1943,1943–1963,1963–1993)in urban areas,a fluctuating pattern for incidence rate and a continuing downward pattern for mortality rate(1918–1993)in rural areas.Conclusions:The increases in cervical cancer incidence and mortality rates can be mostly explained by period effects.We observed decreases in risk for cervical cancer incidence and mortality in young female generations,which were more obvious in urban areas. | Kexin Sun Rongshou Zheng Lin Lei Siwei Zhang Hongmei Zeng Shaoming Wang Li Li Ru Chen Bingfeng Han Ji Peng Wenqiang Wei Jie He | 2022 | China CDC weekly2022，4，48： | 4 |

| 7 | An Experimental Study of Several Special Issues Regarding the Ice Force on Conical Structures显示文摘The effect of the cone spacing of a conical structure on the ice force is studied by model experiments. The ice force reduction coefficient presented in this paper expresses the relationship between the ice force and the arrangement of cones. The experiments prove that the mode of the ice failure before the boundary of upward-downward bending cone (UDBC) is crushing. A conclusion can also be drawn from the experiments that the ice force on the boundary of UDBC is by far less than that on a vertical pile with the same diameter. Moreover, the ice force frequencies on upright and inverted cones are obtained under the field condition of the platform JZ20-2, respectively. | 10 | Analysis of Determinants for an Enhanced and Long-lasting Coastal Convective System by Means of a Case Study(26 July 2011)显示文摘A precipitation system developed continuously along the western coastline of the Korean Peninsula and created considerable precipitation both along the coast and inland on 26 July 2011. In this study, the causes for this nearshore convective system are investigated from observations and the results of model experiments. Three-dimensional radar fields clearly show that a change of wind at the surface border played an important role in the development of the nearshore convection system. The simulation results, which are very similar to the observations, show that the surface border generated and maintained the convergence zone. The roughness change enhanced the convergence, and the interaction between the deepening cold pool and downward flow maintained the convergence zone. The surface mechanical discontinuity affected by the roughness change between sea and land formed the convergence (gradient of wind stress), which induced momentum transfer to the upper layer. The cold pool created a steep gradient of potential temperature and provided the reason for the propagated convergence zone with the downward flow. | 12 | Review on the etiology and complications of hand,foot and mouth disease,using data from the national sentinel surveillance program,in China,2015-2016显示文摘Objective To understand the characteristics relating to the etiology and complications of hand,foot and mouth disease(HFMD)based on data from the pilot National Sentinel Surveillance(NSS)program so as to explore the feasibility,advantages and disadvantages of the NSS.Methods Data were extracted from the NSS system,conducted in 11 provinces of China from November 2015 to October 2016.Characteristics regarding the etiology,complications of HFMD and factors related to the positive rates of HFMD specimens were analyzed under the logistic regression method by SPSS 20.0 software.Results A total of 4783 specimens were collected,including 3390 from mild,1390 from severe and 3 from death cases.The overall positive rate was 81.43%(3895/4783).Other enteroviruses(non EV71/Cox A16 enteroviruses)appeared the major serotype(52.68%,1482/2813)for mild infection of the disease while EV71 was for the severe cases(65.31%,706/1081).The serotype spectrum revealed by the pilot NSS was almost identical with the existing surveillance system.Other enteroviruses tended to infect younger children(χ2=130.17,P<0.001)than EV71 and Cox A16,in China.The multivariate logistic regression results showed that a higher positive rate was associated with specimens which were collected from males,at children'hospitals,in peak seasons,timely and in stools.The positive rates presented downwarding trends with the extension of the onset-sampling interval(χ2=14.47,P<0.001 in stool specimen;χ2=31.99,P<0.001 in throat swab;χ2=24.26,P<0.001 in anal swab).Aseptic meningitis,non-brainstem encephalitis and brainstem encephalitis appeared to be the top three complications of both EV71-associated and other enteroviruses-associated severe HFMD cases.Conclusion Factors as gender,season/place/timeliness of specimen collection,and types of hospital all appeared independently influence the positive rates.NSS seems feasible to be used as an alternative or supplement tool to the existing surveillance program in China. | 张钟 | 2019 | China Medical Abstracts(Internal Medicine)2019，36，3： | 0 |
