1利用SSR标记进行优质冬小麦品种(系)的遗传多样性研究显示文摘遗传多样性研究对于作物育种具有重要意义。选择分布于 2 1条小麦染色体上的 5 9对 SSR引物对 4 8个优质冬小麦新品种 (系 )进行了遗传多样性分析。共检测出 2 0 9个等位位点 ,每对引物等位位点数在 2~ 9之间 ,平均为 3.5个。位点多态性信息含量 PIC变幅为 0 .16~ 0 .87,平均 0 .5 6。 8个引物组合在一起可将全部品种区分开来 ,4 8个品种可分为五类 ,分类结果与品种系谱比较吻合。结果表明 SSR分子标记在鉴别品种和品种遗传多样性研究方面具有重要作用。陈新民 何中虎 史建荣 夏兰芹 Rick Ward 周阳 蒋国梁 2003作物学报2003,29,1:65
2Nanobubble generation and its application in froth flotation (part I): nanobubble generation and its effects on properties of microbubble and millimeter scale bubble solutions显示文摘A special nanobubble generation system has been developed for evaluating the effect of nanobubble on froth flotation. In this study, an eight-factor five-level Central Composite Experimental Design was conducted for investigating eight important parameters governing the median size and the volume of nanobubbles. These process parameters included surfactant concentration, dissolved oxygen (O2) content, dissolved carbon dioxide gas (CO2) content, pressure drop in cavitation tube nozzle, <50 nm hydrophobic particle concentration, <50 nm hydrophilic particle concentration, slurry temperature and the time interval after nanobubble generation. The properties, stability and uniformity of nanobubbles were investigated. 7Nanobubble generation and its applications in froth flotation(partⅢ):specially designed laboratory scale column flotation of phosphate显示文摘Froth flotation is used widely for upgrading raw phosphate.The flotation recovery of coarse phosphate(-1.18+0.425 mm) is much lower than that achieved on the-0.425+0.15 mm size fraction.Enhanced recovery of coarse phosphate particles is of great economic and environmental importance for phosphate industry.In this investigation,four different phosphate samples were aquired,characterized and tested in a specially designed laboratory-scale flotation column.Significant recovery improvement of coarse phosphate flotation was achieved using cavitation-generated nanobubble though its effects differ among the four testing phosphate samples.The laboratory-scale flotation column test results indicate that nanobubble increased P_2O_5 recovery by up to 10%~30%for a given Acid Insoluble(A.I.) rejection,depending on the characteristic of phosphate samples.The improvement effect of nanobubble on the hard-to-float particles was more significant than that on easy-to-float particles,especially at lower collector dosages.Nanobubbles reduced the collector dosage by 1/3 to 1/2.Nanobubbles almost doubled the coarse phosphate flotation rate constant and increased the flotation selectivity index by up to 25%.FAN Maoming TAO Daniel HONAKER Rick LUO Zhenfu 2010Mining Science and Technology2010,20,3:18
8Nanobubble generation and its applications in froth flotation(part IV):mechanical cells and specially designed column flotation of coal显示文摘Coal is the world's most abundant fossil fuel.Coal froth flotation is a widely used cleaning process to separate coal from mineral impurities.Flotation of coarse coal particles,ultrafine coal particles and oxidized coal particles is well known to be difficult and complex.In this paper,the nanobubbles' effects on the flotation of the varying particle size,particle density and floatability coal samples were evaluated using a bank of pilot scale flotation cells,a laboratory scale and a pilot scale specially designed flotation column.The parameters evaluated during this study include the flow rate ratio between the nanobubble generator and the conventional size bubble generator,the superficial air velocity,collector dosage,frother concentration,flotation feed rate,feed solids concentration,feed particle size,and the superficial wash water flow rate,etc.The results show that the use of nanobubbles in a bank of mechanical cells flotation and column flotation increased the flotation recovery by 8%~27% at a given product grade.Nanobubbles increased the flotation rate constants of 600~355,355~180,180~75,and 75~0 microns size coal particles by 98.0%,98.4%,50.0% and 41.6%,respectively.The separation selectivity index was increased by up to 34%,depending on the flotation feed characteristics and the flotation conditions.FAN Maoming TAO Danie HONAKER Rick LUO Zhenfu 2010Mining Science and Technology2010,20,5:18

12The p75 neurotrophin receptor:at the crossroad of neural repair and death显示文摘The strong repair and pro-survival functions of neurotrophins at their primary receptors,Trk A,Trk B and Trk C,have made them attractive candidates for treatment of nervous system injury and disease.However,difficulties with the clinical implementation of neurotrophin therapies have prompted the search for treatments that are stable,easier to deliver and allow more precise regulation of neurotrophin actions.Recently,the p75 neurotrophin receptor(p75NTR) has emerged as a potential target for pharmacological control of neurotrophin activity,supported in part by studies demonstrating 1) regulation of neural plasticity in the mature nervous system,2) promotion of adult neurogenesis and 3) increased expression in neurons,macrophages,microglia,astrocytes and/or Schwann cells in response to injury and neurodegenerative diseases.Although the receptor has no intrinsic catalytic activity it interacts with and modulates the function of Trk A,Trk B,and Trk C,as well as sortilin and the Nogo receptor.This provides substantial cellular and molecular diversity for regulation of neuron survival,neurogenesis,immune responses and processes that support neural function.Upregulation of the p75 NTR under pathological conditions places the receptor in a key position to control numerous processes necessary for nervous system recovery.Support for this possibility has come from recent studies showing that small,non-peptide p75 NTR ligands can selectively modify pro-survival and repair functions.While a great deal remains to be discovered about the wide ranging functions of the p75 NTR,studies summarized in this review highlight the immense potential for development of novel neuroprotective and neurorestorative therapies.Rick B.Meeker Kimberly S.Williams 2015Neural Regeneration Research2015,10,5:12

14Autonomy in materials research: a case study in carbon nanotube growth显示文摘Advances in materials are an important contributor to our technological progress,and yet the process of materials discovery and development itself is slow.Our current research process is human-centred,where human researchers design,conduct,analyse and interpret experiments,and then decide what to do next.We have built an Autonomous Research System(ARES)—an autonomous research robot capable of first-of-its-kind closed-loop iterative materials experimentation.ARES exploits advances in autonomous robotics,artificial intelligence,data sciences,and high-throughput and in situ techniques,and is able to design,execute and analyse its own experiments orders of magnitude faster than current research methods.We applied ARES to study the synthesis of singlewalled carbon nanotubes,and show that it successfully learned to grow them at targeted growth rates.ARES has broad implications for the future roles of humans and autonomous research robots,and for human-machine partnering.We believe autonomous research robots like ARES constitute a disruptive advance in our ability to understand and develop complex materials at an unprecedented rate.Pavel Nikolaev Daylond Hooper Frederick Webber Rahul Rao Kevin Decker Michael Krein Jason Poleski Rick Barto Benji Maruyama 2016npj Computational Materials2016,,1:9
15Preoperative rectosigmoid endoscopic ultrasonography predicts the need for bowel resection in endometriosis显示文摘BACKGROUND Rectosigmoid endometriosis is an underdiagnosed disease responsible for abdominal pain, transit disorders and rectal bleeding. Two surgical approaches,rectosigmoid bowel resection(segmental or patch) or intramuscular layer dissection(shaving), are available.AIM To assess whether the lesion features observed via preoperative rectosigmoid endoscopic ultrasonography(RS-EUS) might predict the need for bowel resection.METHODS This multicentric retrospective study was conducted on patients with rectosigmoid endometriosis who underwent a curative surgical procedure,evaluated by RS-EUS performed by two trained operators, between January 2012 and March 2018. A univariate statistical analysis was performed on nodules' RSEUS features(thickness, width, infiltration of the submucosae, presence of a bump into the digestive lumen and presence of multiple rectosigmoid localizations). A multivariate logistic regression was then performed on the significant results.RESULTS Of the 367 patients, 73 patients with rectosigmoid endometriosis were evaluated by RS-EUS and underwent rectosigmoid surgery. After the univariate analysis was completed, thickness, width and infiltration of the submucosae were identified as potential predictive factors for bowel resection. In a multivariate logistic regression model, only thickness appeared to be a significant [odds ratio(OR) = 1.49, 95% confidence interval(CI): 1.04-2.12, P = 0.028] predictive factor for bowel resection. Receiver operating characteristic analysis performed showed that a thickness over 5.20 mm might be used as cut-off with a sensitivity of 76%, a specificity of 81%, and an area under carve = 0.82. The cut-off values for 100%sensitivity and 100% specificity were 0.90 mm and 10.00 mm, respectively.
