2辣木叶或根的甲醇提取物对弗氏佐剂致关节炎大鼠模型的止痛作用(英文)显示文摘目的:辣木(Moringaoleifera)是非洲民间医学中一种常用的药用植物,近期已有临床研究揭示了其抗炎功效。本实验研究辣木叶及根的甲醇提取物对弗氏佐剂致关节炎模型大鼠的止痛作用。方法:使用健康雄性成年Wistar大鼠(体质量200~220g),皮下注射弗氏佐剂建立实验性关节炎模型。造模当天及造模后第3天和第6天,治疗组大鼠分别腹腔内注射辣木根或叶的甲醇提取物(200、300或400mg/kg),使用消炎痛(5mg/kg)作为阳性对照药。每次用药后评估各组大鼠的温度痛觉过敏程度及机械性触诱发痛程度。实验用同样方法检测了辣木根和叶的甲醇提取物混合物(200mg/kg)的止痛作用。结果:辣木根或叶的甲醇提取物(300或400mg/kg)的止痛作用与消炎痛(5mg/kg)类似,与对照组比较,造模后第3天或第6天用药都能够显著降低弗氏佐剂致关节炎大鼠的温度痛觉过敏程度及机械性触诱发痛程度(P<0.01或P<0.05)。与对照组、辣木根提取物组及辣木叶提取物组比较,造模后第3天或第6天用药,辣木根和叶的甲醇提取物混合物(200mg/kg)能够显著降低弗氏佐剂致关节炎大鼠的温度痛觉过敏程度(P<0.01)。结论:辣木根或叶的甲醇提取物能够有效降低弗氏佐剂致关节炎大鼠的温度痛觉过敏程度。辣木根和叶的甲醇提取物混合物与根或叶单独的提取物的作用比较显示出辣木根与叶在止痛效果上的协同作用。Homa Manaheji Soheila Jafari Jalal Zaringhalam Shamsali Rezazadeh Reza Taghizadfarid 2011中西医结合学报2011,9,2:9
3Recent advances in myeloid-derived suppressor cell biology显示文摘In recent years,studying the role of myeloid-derived suppressor cells(MDSCs)in many pathological inflammatory conditions has become a very active research area.Although the role of MDSCs in cancer is relatively well established,their role in non-cancerous pathological conditions remains in its infancy resulting in much confusion.Our objectives in this review are to address some recent advances in MDSC research in order to minimize such confusion and to provide an insight into their function in the context of other diseases.The following topics will be specifically focused upon:(1)definition and characterization of MDSCs;(2)whether all MDSC populations consist of immature cells;(3)technical issues in MDSC isolation,estimation and characterization;(4)the origin of MDSCs and their anatomical distribution in health and disease;(5)mediators of MDSC expansion and accumulation;(6)factors that determine the expansion of one MDSC population over the other;(7)the Yin and Yang roles of MDSCs.Moreover,the functions of MDSCs will be addressed throughout the text.Mahmoud Mohammad Yaseen Nizar Mohammad Abuharfeil Homa Darmani Ammar Daoud 2021Frontiers of Medicine2021,15,2:7
4Traditional and modern aspects of hemorrhoid treatment in Iran:a review显示文摘Hemorrhoidal disease is a prevalent anorectal condition which is generally not managed well with current pharmacologic interventions. However, in Iranian traditional medicine(ITM) there are numerous plants with hemorrhoid-healing properties. The present research assembled plants with hemorrhoidhealing properties in ITM; their related pharmacological effects, phytochemical constituents and mechanisms of action in the modern medicine were also gathered. For this purpose, leading ITM textbooks were searched for plants with hemorrhoid-healing effects. Further, in vitro, in vivo and clinical studies on the most cited species were considered using scientific databases. Studying ITM textbooks revealed37 medicinal plants with hemorrhoid-healing effects. Among the mentioned herbal medicines, six species, including Allium ampeloprasum, Phyllanthus emblica, Aloe vera, Terminalia chebula, Vitis vinifera and Commiphora mukul, had the largest number of related pharmacological effects documented in scientific databases. 5Investigation of a mutual interaction force at different pressure amplitudes in sulfuric acid显示文摘This paper investigates the secondary Bjerknes force for two oscillating bubbles in various pressure amplitudes in a concentration of 95% sulfuric acid.The equilibrium radii of the bubbles are assumed to be smaller than 10 μm at a frequency of 37 kHz in various strong driving acoustical fields around 2.0 bars (1 bar=10 5 Pa).The secondary Bjerknes force is investigated in uncoupled and coupled states between the bubbles,with regard to the quasi-adiabatic model for the bubble interior.It finds that the value of the secondary Bjerknes force depends on the driven pressure of sulfuric acid and its amount would be increased by liquid pressure amplitude enhancement.The results show that the repulsion area of the interaction force would be increased by increasing the driven pressure because of nonlinear oscillation of bubbles.Nastaran Rezaee Rasoul Sadighi-Bonabi Mona Mirheydari Homa Ebrahimi 2011Chinese Physics B2011,20,8:3

7Multi-center evaluation of oxidation-reduction potential by the MiOXSYS in males with abnormal semen显示文摘According to the World Health Organization(WHO),oxidative stress(OS)is a significant contributor to male infertility.SeminalOS can be measured by a number of assays,all of which are either costly or time sensitive and/or require large semen volume andcomplex instrumentation.One less expensive alternative is to quantify the oxidation-reduction potential(ORP)with the MiOXSYS.In this international multi-center study,we assessed whether ORP levels measured by the MiOXSYS could distinguish semensamples that fall within the 2010 WHO normal reference values from those that do not.Semen samples were collected from 2092patients in 9 countries;ORP was normalized to sperm concentration(mV/10^6 sperm/ml).Only those samples with a concentration>1×10^6 sperm ml1 were in eluded.The results showed that 199 samples fell within the WHO no rmal refere nee range while theremaining 1893 samples did not meet one or more of the criteria.ORP was negatively correlated with all semen parameters(P <0.01)except volume.The area under the curve for ORP was 0.765.The ORP cut-off value(1.34 mV/10^6 sperm/ml)was able todifferentiate specimens with abnormal semen parameters with 98.1%sensitivity,40.6%specificity,94.7%positive predictivevalue(PPV)and 66.6%negative predictive value(NPV).When used as an adjunct to traditional semen analysis,ORP levels mayhelp identify altered functional status of spermatozoa caused by OS in cases of idiopathic male infertility and in male partners ofcouples sufferi ng recurre nt pregna ncy loss,and thereby directi ng these men to relevant medical therapies and lifestyle modificati ons.Ashok Agarwal Manesh Kumar Panner Selvam Mohamed Arafa Hiroshi Okada Sheryl Homa Aideen Killeen Basak Balaban Ramadan Saleh Abdullah Armagan Shubhadeep Roychoudhury Suresh Sikka 2019Asian Journal of Andrology2019,21,6:2
