1Robot Pilot:A New Autonomous System toward Flying Manned Aerial Vehicles显示文摘The robot pilot is a new concept of a robot system that pilots a manned aircraft,thereby forming a new type of unmanned aircraft system(UAS)that makes full use of the platform maturity,load capacity,and airworthiness of existing manned aircraft while greatly expanding the operation and application fields of UASs.In this research,the implementation and advantages of the robot pilot concept are discussed in detail,and a helicopter robot pilot is proposed to fly manned helicopters.The robot manipulators are designed according to the handling characteristics of the helicopter-controlling mechanism.Based on a kinematic analysis of the robot manipulators,a direct-driving method is established for the robot flight controller to reduce the time delay and control error of the robot servo process.A supporting ground station is built to realize different flight modes and the functional integration of the robot pilot.Finally,a prototype of the helicopter robot pilot is processed and installed in a helicopter to carry out flight tests.The test results show that the robot pilot can independently fly the helicopter to realize forward flight,backward flight,side flight,and turning flight,which verifies the effectiveness of the helicopter robot pilot.Zibo Jin Daochun Li Jinwu Xiang 2023Engineering2023,,8:0
2Morphology and mechanical performance between the skin surface of Rana dybowskii and Bufo gargarizans显示文摘Anuran skin is a typical natural biomaterial with multifunctional features.A specific comparison of mechanical performance and morphology related to them was performed in the skin of Rana dybowskii and Bufo gargarizans using the tensile testing technique and morphological equipment.Rana dybowskii's skin has soft smooth surface covered by polygonal epidermal cells,while the Bufo gargarizans species has tough and uneven skin surface due to numerous verrucae structures.The collagen fibre bundles in lower dermis of Bufo gargarizans have wavelike organisation while the bundles of Rana dybowskii show a parallel arrangement.The mean elastic modulus of Rana dybowskii was nine times higher than that of Bufo gargarizans.This study clarified that the arrangement of collagen fibres play an important role in the strength and elasticity of skin material.Mo Li Chunyu Du Jili Wang Zibo Gao Xiao Yang Donghui Chen Jin Tong Lili Ren 2021Biosurface and Biotribology2021,7,3:0
3Scalable fabrication of graphene-assembled multifunctional electrode with efficient electrochemical detection of dopamine and glucose显示文摘Conventional glassy carbon electrodes(GCE)cannot meet the requirements of future electrodes for wider use due to low conductivity,high cost,non-portability,lack of flexibility.Therefore,cost-effective and wearable electrode enabling rapid and versatile molecule detection is becoming important,especially with the ever-increasing demand for health monitoring and point-ofcare diagnosis.Graphene is considered as an ideal electrode due to its excellent physicochemical properties.Here,we prepare graphene film with ultra-high conductivity and customize the 3-electrode system via a facile and highly controllable laser engraving approach.Benefiting from the ultra-high conductivity(5.65×10^(5)S·m^(−1)),the 3-electrode system can be used as multifunctional electrode for direct detection of dopamine(DA)and enzyme-based detection of glucose without further metal deposition.The dynamic ranges from 1–200μM to 0.5–8.0 mM were observed for DA and glucose,respectively,with a limit of detection(LOD)of 0.6μM and 0.41 mM.Overall,the excellent target detection capability caused by the ultra-high conductivity and ease modification of graphene films,together with their superb mechanical properties and ease of mass-produced,provides clear potential not only for replacing GCE for various electrochemical studies but also for the development of portable and highperformance electrochemical wearable medical devices.Xiaodong Ji Xin Zhao Zixin Zhang Yunfa Si Wei Qian Huaqiang Fu Zibo Chen Zhe Wang Huihui Jin Zhugen Yang Daping He 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:0
4Amorphous vanadium oxides for electrochemical energy storage显示文摘Vanadium oxides have attracted extensive interest as electrode materials for many electrochemical energy storage devices owing to the features of abundant reserves,low cost,and variable valence.Based on the in-depth understanding of the energy storage mechanisms and reasonable design strategies,the performances of vanadium oxides as electrodes for batteries have been significantly optimized.Compared to crystalline vanadium oxides,amorphous vanadium oxides(AVOs)show many unique properties,including large specific surface area,excellent electrochemical stability,lots of defects and active sites,fast ion kinetics,and high elasticity.This review gives a comprehensive overview of the recent progress on AVOs for different energy storage systems,such as alkali metal ion batteries,multivalent ion batteries,and supercapacitors with a special focus on the preparation strategies.The basic mechanisms for energy storage performance improvements of AVOs as compared to their crystalline counterparts are also introduced.Finally,challenges faced by AVOs are discussed and future development prospects are also proposed.This review aims to provide a comprehensive knowledge of AVOs and is expected to promote the development of high-performance electrodes for batteries.Qian He Zibo Chen Xingyu Niu Xuran Han Tian Kang Jianyu Chen Yanwen Ma Jin Zhao 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
