| 1 | Genetic analysis and gene fine mapping for a rice novel mutant(rl_(9(t)))with rolling leaf character显示文摘Leaf shape is an important parameter for ideotype breeding in rice, and the rolling of leaf is also beneficial to efficient ripening of grains. This encourages the explorations of new genes that regulate leaf shape. In this study, genetic analysis and gene mapping were carried out for a novel rolling leaf mutant identified from japonica variety Zhonghua 11. The SSR marker analysis showed that the mutant was controlled by a single recessive gene (rl9(t)) lo- cated on chromosome 9. Fine mapping of the Rl9(t) locus was conducted with 30 new STS markers de- veloped around Rl9(t) anchored region based on the sequence diversity between Nipponbare and 93-11. The fine mapping necessitated the contruction of a PAC contig encompassing the Rl9(t) locus, which was delimited to a 42 kb region. | 2 | The CAMS Climate System Model and a Basic Evaluation of Its Climatology and Climate Variability Simulation显示文摘A new coupled climate system model(CSM) has been developed at the Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences(CAMS) by employing several state-of-the-art component models. The coupled CAMS-CSM consists of the modified atmospheric model [ECmwf-HAMburg(ECHAM5)], ocean model [Modular Ocean Model(MOM4)], sea ice model [Sea Ice Simulator(SIS)], and land surface model [Common Land Model(CoLM)]. A detailed model description is presented and both the pre-industrial and 'historical' simulations are preliminarily evaluated in this study.The model can reproduce the climatological mean states and seasonal cycles of the major climate system quantities,including the sea surface temperature, precipitation, sea ice extent, and the equatorial thermocline. The major climate variability modes are also reasonably captured by the CAMS-CSM, such as the Madden–Julian Oscillation(MJO), El Ni?o–Southern Oscillation(ENSO), East Asian Summer Monsoon(EASM), and Pacific Decadal Oscillation(PDO).The model shows a promising ability to simulate the EASM variability and the ENSO–EASM relationship. | 3 | Experimental Investigation on Vibration Control of Rotor-bearing System with Active Magnetic Exciter显示文摘Vibration control is an efficient way to minimize a rotating machine's vibration level so that its vibration fault-free can be realized.While,several factors,such as unbalance,misalignment and instability,contribute to the serious vibration of rotating machines.It is necessary that one apparatus can depress vibration caused by two or more reasons.The fault self-recovery(FSR) mechanism is introduced and investigated.Strategies of vibration control are investigated theoretically using numerical method firstly.Active magneticelectric exciter(AME) are selected as the actuator of a FSR device because it can provide suitable force by varying the control current in the exciters depending upon a proportional and derivative control law.By numerical study,it is indicate that only a small control force is needed to improve stability margins of the compressor and prevent subsynchronous vibration fault efficiently.About synchronous vibration,three control strategies,searching in whole circle,fast optimizing control(FOC),and none mistaking control,are investigated to show which of the control strategy can realize the fault self-recovery in the shortest time.Experimental study is conducted on a test rig with variable rotating speed.Results of the test indicate that the non-mistake control strategy can minimize synchronous vibration in less than three seconds.The proposed research can provide a new insight for subsynchronous and synchronous vibration restraining about centrifugal compressor. | WANG Weimin GAO Jinji HUANG Liquan XIN Zhengqiu | 2011 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,6: | 11 |

| 11 | Do trace metal(loid)s in road soils pose health risks to tourists?A case of a highly-visited national park in China显示文摘Nowadays,more people tend to spend their recreational time in large national parks,and trace metal(loid)s in soils have attracted long-term attention due to their possible harm to human health.To investigate the pollution levels,potential sources and health risks of trace metal(loid)s in road soils,a total of eight trace metal(loid)s(including As,Cd,Cr,Cu,Ni,Pb,Zn and Hg)from 47 soil samples along roads were studied in the Huangshan National Park in Southeast China.The results showed that the concentrations of As,Cd,Pb,Zn and Hg appeared different degrees of pollution compared with their corresponding background values.According to the pollution indices,Hg and Cd were recognized as significant pollutants presenting moderate to high ecological risk.Combining principal component analysis and positive matrix factorization model,the results showed that traffic,industrial,agricultural and natural sources were the potential origins of trace metal(loid)s in this area,with contribution rates of 39.93%,25.92%,10.53%and 23.62%,respectively.Non-carcinogenic risks were all negligible,while the carcinogenic risk of As was higher than the limit(1×10^(-6)).Moreover,children were more susceptible to trace metal(loid)s by ingestion which appeared to be a more important exposure pathway than dermal contact and inhalation.The contribution rates of different sources to non-carcinogenic risks and carcinogenic risks were similar among children and adults,while traffic and industrial sources have a significant impact on health risks.This study will give more insights to control the environmental risks of trace metal(loid)s in national parks. | Jingling Huang Yuying Wu Yanyao Li Jiaxun Sun Yujing Xie Zhengqiu Fan | 2022 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,1: | 2 |

Although traffic encryption can ensure the security of communication, it also enables malware to hide its information and avoid being detected.At present, most of the malicious traffic detection methods are aimed at the unencrypted ones. There are some problems in the detection of encrypted traffic, suchas high false positive rate, difficulty in feature extraction, and insufficient practicability. The accuracy and effectiveness of existing methods need to be improved.In this paper, we present TLSmell, a framework that conducts maliciousencrypted HTTPs traffic detection with simple connection-specific indicators byusing different classifiers based online training. We perform deep packet analysisof encrypted traffic through data pre-processing to extract effective features, andthen the online training algorithm is used for training and prediction. Withoutdecrypting the original traffic, high-precision malicious traffic detection and analysis are realized, which can guarantee user privacy and communication security.At the same time, since there is no need to decrypt the traffic in advance, the effi-ciency of detecting malicious HTTPs traffic will be greatly improved.
