1Ten cities cross-sectional questionnaire survey of children asthma and other allergies in China显示文摘Asthma,rhinitis and eczema(allergic or non-allergic)have increased throughout the world during the last decades,especially among children.Changes in the indoor environment are suspected to be important causes.China has experienced a dramatic change in indoor environmental exposures during the past two decades.However,such changes and their associations with children’s asthma and other health aspects have not been thoroughly studied.China,Children,Homes,Health(CCHH),Phase I,was a cross-sectional questionnaire survey of 48219 children 1–8 years old in 10 Chinese cities during 2010–2012.The questionnaire includes the International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood(ISAAC)core health questions and additional questions regarding housing,life habits and outdoor environment.In health analyses,children aged 3–6 years old were included.The prevalences of doctor diagnosed asthma varied from 1.7%to 9.8%(mean 6.8%),a large increase from 0.91%in 1999 and 1.50%in2000.The prevalence of wheeze,rhinitis and atopic eczema(last 12 months)varied from 13.9%to 23.7%,24.0%to 50.8%and4.8%to 15.8%,respectively.Taiyuan had the lowest prevalences of all illnesses and Shanghai the highest,except for wheezewhere the highest value was for Urumqi.We found(1)no obvious association between disease prevalences and ambient PM10concentrations and(2)higher prevalences of disease in humid climates with hot summers and cold winters,but with no centrally heated buildings.Associations between the diseases and economic status as indexed by Gross Domestic Product(GDP)requires further study.ZHANG YinPing LI BaiZhan HUANG Chen YANG Xu QIAN Hua DENG QiHong ZHAO ZhuoHui LI AnGui ZHAO JiaNing ZHANG Xin QU Fang HU Yu YANG Qin WANG Juan ZHANG Ming WANG Fang ZHENG XiaoHong LU Chan LIU ZhiJian SUN YueXia MO JinHan ZHAO YiLi LIU Wei WANG TingTing NORBCK Dan BORNEHAG Carl-Gustaf SUNDELL Jan 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,34:22
2Research on optimization and design methods for air distribution system based on target values显示文摘To achieve sufficient air conditioning of large buildings,reasonable air distribution in indoor spaces is an effective method for creating stratified air conditioning.Therefore,optimizing the air distribution in large buildings is extremely significant.In this paper,we expound on a new method for air distribution design and optimization based on target value evaluation and summarize the relevant design processes based on an orthogonal test and by decoupling the effects of the size of the tuyere,airflow temperature,air-supply angle and velocity on air distribution.Then,we present a design case.To optimize the distribution of a lateral air supply in winter,the deflection angle,velocity and temperature of the air supply can be determined in turn.For the large and tall building types addressed in this paper,the optimal air-supply angle is 2°,the optimal air-supply velocity is 8 m/s,and the optimal air-supply temperature is 19℃.Ran Gao Hengchun Zhang Angui Li Shihao Wen Wuyi Du Baoshun Deng 2021Building Simulation2021,14,3:3
3Analysis of microclimate characteristics in solar greenhouses under natural ventilation显示文摘The solar greenhouse is a typical greenhouse type in northern China.It provides a favorable environment for the growth of various plants and extends cultivation periods for almost a whole year to achieve a high yield.However,indoor environmental control is primarily based on growers'experience,and the objective test data required for the complex climate control and management of greenhouses are lacking.The present study used three greenhouses in northwest China as research objects:one greenhouse with mature plants(GH-M),one greenhouse with young plants(GH-Y)and one greenhouse without plants(GH-E).Field tests were performed to investigate microclimate characteristics,such as indoor air temperature,relative humidity,and solar radiation under natural ventilation.The results showed that the maximum temperature difference reached approximately 8.2℃in the vertical direction,and semiempirical equations for the normalized temperature distribution were obtained.The soil temperature remained constant at a certain depth(0.4 m).The distribution of the relative humidity and solar radiation was analyzed.The current study is helpful for growers to develop better greenhouse climate control strategies for management practices.Yicun Hou Angui Li Yue Li Dacheng Jin Yu Tian Da Zhang Dingmeng Wu Linhua Zhang Wenjun Lei 2021Building Simulation2021,14,6:3
4Reaction behavior of oil sand in fluidized-bed pyrolysis显示文摘The reaction behavior of oil sand from Inner Mongolia(China) were studied in a fluidizedbed pyrolysis process,and a comparative study was conducted on the properties of the liquid products obtained through fluidized-bed pyrolysis of oil sand and the native bitumen obtained by solvent extraction.The results indicated that the fluidized-bed pyrolysis,a feasible carbon rejection process,can be used to upgrade oil sand.The reaction temperature and time were found to be the key operating parameters affecting the product distribution and yields in fluidized-bed pyrolysis of oil sand.The optimal temperature was 490℃ and the most suitable reaction time was 5 min.Under these operation conditions,the maximum yield of liquid product was 80wt%.In addition,the pyrolysis kinetics of oil sand at different heating rates of 5,10,20 and 30℃/min was investigated using a thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA).Gao Jinsen Xu Tao Wang Gang Zhang Angui Xu Chunming 2013Petroleum Science2013,10,4:2
5Adaptive Wall-Based Attachment Ventilation:A Comparative Study on Its Effectiveness in Airborne Infection Isolation Rooms with Negative Pressure显示文摘The transmission of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)has presented challenges for the control of the indoor environment of isolation wards.Scientific air distribution design and operation management are crucial to ensure the environmental safety of medical staff.This paper proposes the application of adaptive wall-based attachment ventilation and evaluates this air supply mode based on contaminants dispersion,removal efficiency,thermal comfort,and operating expense.Adaptive wall-based attachment ventilation provides a direct supply of fresh air to the occupied zone.In comparison with a ceiling air supply or upper sidewall air supply,adaptive wall-based attachment ventilation results in a 15%–47%lower average concentration of contaminants,for a continual release of contaminants at the same air changes per hour(ACH;10 h^(-1)).The contaminant removal efficiency of complete mixing ventilation cannot exceed 1.For adaptive wall-based attachment ventilation,the contaminant removal efficiency is an exponential function of the ACH.Compared with the ceiling air supply mode or upper sidewall air supply mode,adaptive wall-based attachment ventilation achieves a similar thermal comfort level(predicted mean vote(PMV)of0.1–0.4;draught rate of 2.5%–6.7%)and a similar performance in removing contaminants,but has a lower ACH and uses less energy.Ying Zhang Ou Han Angui Li Li’an Hou Thomas Olofsson Linhua Zhang Wenjun Lei 2022Engineering2022,8,1:2

12Thermodynamics fundamentals and energy efciency for the separation and high‑valued utilization of Fischer–Tropsch heavy oil显示文摘The development trend of Fischer–Tropsch(F–T)technology is to develop high value-added products.The separation of linearα-olefns with low cost is an efective method.Nevertheless,the lack of thermodynamic data and the huge energy consumption are the two main problems restricting the development of the separation process.The thermodynamic data of the key components(1-dodecene and n-dodecane)in the F–T product were measured.The Wilson binary interaction parameters of the key components were obtained.Next,one traditional distillation column sequence and two dividing wall column(DWC)sequences were designed to separate the F–T heavy oil to obtain narrow fractions with diferent carbon numbers.Then,the obtained fractions of C10 and C12 were simulated to obtain 1-decene and 1-dodecene,respectively.There was a traditional distillation and a diferential pressure thermal coupling distillation process.When separating 95.0%purity 1-decene and 1-octene,the direct DWC process and diferential pressure thermal coupled distillation are an excellent combination,which can reduce the energy by 33.1%(i.e.,11,286 kW)and total annual cost by 15.9%(i.e.,3.96×10^(6)$)compared with traditional distillation.Zongchao Liu Hong Li Suli Liu Jiuzhou Chen Zisheng Zhang Xingang Li Angui Zhang Wei Yuan Xin Gao 2022International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2022,9,4:0
13Effects of transient fluid flow and solidification on the transport of bubbles in a slab continuous casting mold显示文摘Transient molten steel flow in a slab continuous casting mold has been calculated using large eddy simulation,considering heat transfer and solidification. The transport of bubbles in the liquid pool of the solidified shell has been considered according to the dispersed phase model. A mathematical model has been used to evaluate the influence of bubble size,casting speed,and adsorption of nonmetallic inclusions on bubble removal and bubble distribution within the solidified shell in the mold. The results show that the ratio of bubbles floating to the top surface decreases with increasing casting speed and decreasing bubble diameter. 14Airflow pattern and performance of attached ventilation for two types of tiny spaces显示文摘With the emergence of urban sentry boxes and capsule hotels,the development of tiny spaces with the concept of a reasonable minimum occupied space has attracted widespread attention from society.The ventilation mode that fits with the limited geometric characteristics of tiny spaces is worth exploring.Combined with the respective ventilation requirements of two types of tiny spaces,i.e.,sentry box space and tiny sleeping space,this paper proposes two attached ventilation modes.A full-scale experiment cabin was established,and the simulation method was optimized through experimental data.The airflow pattern and distribution performance of the two attached ventilation modes in two types of tiny spaces were studied by the CFD method.The results showed that the airflow attached to the vertical wall could form an air curtain at the opening windows of the sentry box space,but there is a phenomenon of air leakage.The installation of the deflector can improve the integrity of the air curtain,and the best installation angle of the deflector is 60 degrees.The double side-attached ventilation mode in the tiny sleeping space can not only relieve the draught of the occupants(DR<15%),but also firstly deliver fresh air to the occupied zone(expiratory zone MAA<92 s).The research conclusions will add new ideas to the diversity of ventilation modes in tiny spaces.Haiguo Yin Yanyan Li Da Zhang Yuekun Han Jiali Wang Yongshou Zhang Angui Li 2022Building Simulation2022,15,8:0
15原发性气管主支气管恶性肿瘤的外科治疗(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of our study was to explore the clinical experience of surgical treatment for primary tracheobronchial malignant tumors.Methods:The clinicopathological data of 18 patients with primary tracheobronchial malignant tumors surgically treated from February 1994 to August 2007 were reviewed retrospectively.The surgical management included sleeve tracheal resection in 8 cases,lower trachea and carina resection with carina reconstruction in 4 cases,local enucleation of the tumor in 4 cases,left or right carino-pneumon-ection in 2 cases,and resection of the tracheal or bronchial tumor and reconstruction of the airway under cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB) in 6 cases.Results:Among the 18 cases,there were 7 adenoid cystic carcinomas,9 squamous cell carcinomas,1 lymphoepithelial-like carcinoma and 1 follicular non-Hodgkin lymphoma.All the cases recovered well except one who died of endotracheal bleeding and asphyxia at the 10th postoperative day.Conclusion:Surgical resection is the most effective treatment for primary tracheobronchial malignant tumors.The selection of operation modes should be individualized according to patients' condition.Both complete resection and safety should be taken into consideration simultaneously.Hailong Wang Zhenzong Du Hua Ren Chaoji Zhang Jianfei Song Yuepei Liang Angui Li Min Zheng 2010The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2010,9,2:0
16Characteristics of outdoor pollutants intrusion and ventilation control in sentry buildings with normal openings显示文摘Sentry buildings have windows that are often open to facilitate communication between personnel.It also provides the possibility for the intrusion of pollutants such as vehicle exhaust emissions.To prevent the intrusion of outdoor pollutants and create an excellent indoor environment,internal circulation with double-attached ventilation(IC-DAV)and external circulation with double-attached ventilation(EC-DAV)are proposed for such buildings,and the isolation effect of two attached ventilation modes on pollutants is compared with that of natural ventilation.A computational fluid dynamics(CFD)method was used to simulate the transportation process and indoor distribution of outdoor pollutants intruding into sentry buildings from the regular openings under different outdoor wind directions,wind velocities,and states of the doors and ventilation modes.The results indicate that the leeward airflow of the three wind directions caused the largest pollutants to invade the room.The amount of pollutants intrusion increased with increasing wind velocity.When the leeward airflow and the windward airflow blow through the building,opening the door increased the amount of pollutants intruding into the room by 3.34 times and 8.85 times,respectively,compared with closing the door.However,the IC-DAV can isolate 81.7% of the pollutants while the EC-DAV can isolate 99.92% of the pollutants as compared with natural ventilation.Applying double attached ventilation mode in buildings can effectively prevent the intrusion of outdoor pollutants into the room,reduce the harm of outdoor pollutants to the health of indoor personnel,and provide a new idea for buildings to improve the indoor air quality.Linfeng Liang Haiguo Yin Da Zhang Yuekun Han Yanyan Li Jingying Zhang Yongshou Zhang Zhenjun Ma Angui Li 2023Building Simulation2023,16,3:0

18Truncation method for calculating the resistance of ventilation air-conditioning duct systems under nonfully developed flow boundary conditions显示文摘Calculating the resistance of ventilation air-conditioning ducts under nonfully developed flow is a crucial problem that must be addressed. Based on the characteristics of the resistance in ventilation air-conditioning ducts, the truncation method-a computational method that is appropriate for nonfully developed flow boundary conditions-was proposed in this study. The resistance distributions in the upstream and downstream ducts from typical local components, including reducers, bends and tee ducts, were investigated. Using the resistance values of the local components under fully developed flow, the resistances that did not belong to nonfully developed flow were truncated and removed. Finally, the calculation steps of the proposed method were discussed, an engineering case study was presented, and the accuracy of the developed model was analyzed. The results showed that for the local components in the system (reducers, bends and tee ducts), their proportions of the total resistance exhibited similar trends under different width-to-height ratios. The resistance of these local components included upstream resistance, downstream resistance and their own resistance. The upstream resistance accounted for 2%–6% of the total resistance, whereas the downstream resistance of the reducers, bends and tee ducts accounted for 40%–60% of the total resistance. A functional relationship was established between the local resistance and cutoff distance of the reducers, bends and tee ducts. Hence, the truncation method can calculate the local resistance from the cutoff distance. 19A low-resistance elbow with a bionic sawtooth guide vane in ventilation and air conditioning systems显示文摘Elbow resistance is an important part of energy consumption in ventilation and air conditioning(VAC)systems.By considering the structural characteristics of bat wings and humpback whale pectoral fins,a simplified leading edge for sawtooth guide vanes is designed.Based on the theory of fluid mechanics,the resistance reduction mechanism of the sawtooth guide vane is analyzed.The numerical calculation results show that proper sawtooth groove parameters for the guide vane can effectively reduce the elbow resistance.Compared with that for a normal guide vane,the maximum resistance can be reduced by approximately 9%with the new design.In addition,we analyze the influence of the sawtooth guide vane on the entropy production of the duct elbow and the relationship between entropy production and the resistance of the duct elbow.Finally,the resistance reduction performance of the sawtooth guide vane is verified through full-scale tests.Chi Zhang Angui Li Jigang Che Yue Li Qi Liu Yuhang Zhao 2022Building Simulation2022,15,1:0
