1MASLOV-TYPE INDEX THEORYFOR SYMPLECTIC PATHS AND SPECTRAL FLOW(II)显示文摘Based on the spectral now and the stratification structures of the symplectic group Sp(2n, c) , the Maslov-type index theory and its generalization, the w-index theory parameterized by all ω on the unit circle, for arbitrary paths in Sp(2n, C) are established. Then the Bott-type iteration formula of the Maslov-type indices for iterated paths in Sp(2n, C) is proved, and the mean index for any path in Sp(2n, C) is defined. 2The enhanced photocatalytic sterilization of MOF-Based nanohybrid for rapid and portable therapy of bacteria-infected open wounds显示文摘Open wounds are prone to infection and difficult to heal,which even threatens the life of patients because bacterial infections can induce other lethal complications without prompt treatment.The commonly used antibiotics treatment for bacterial infections has been reported to cause globally bacterial resistance and even the occurrence of superbacteria.The highly effective and antibiotic-independent therapeutic strategies are urgently needed for treating various kinds of bacteria-infected diseases.In this work,we synthesized an eco-friendly nanohybrid material(ZnDMZ)consisting of a kind of biodegradable metal organic framework(MOF,ZIF-8)combined with Zn-doped MoS_(2)(Zn-MoS_(2))nanosheets,which exhibited great ability to kill bacteria and promote the healing of bacteria-infected wounds under 660 nm light irradiation.The underlying mechanism is that besides the local hyperthermia,the nanohybrid material exhibits enhanced photocatalytic performance than single component in it,i.e.,it can also be excited by 660 nm light to produce more oxygen radical species(ROS)due to the following factors.On one hand,the Zn doping can reduce the work function and the band gap of MoS_(2),which promotes the movement of photoexcited electrons to the surface of the material.On the other hand,the combination between Zn-MoS_(2) and MOF induces the formation of a built-in electric field due to their work function difference,thus accelerating the separation of photoexcited electron-hole pairs.Because of the synergy of photocatalytic effect,photothermal effect and the released Zn ions,the synthesized ZnDMZ possessed a highly effective antibacterial efficacy of 99.9%against Staphylococcus aureus under 660 nm light irradiation for 20 min without cytotoxicity.In vivo tests showed that this nanohybrid material promoted the wound healing due to the released Zn ions.This nanohybrid will be promising for rapid and portable treatment of bacteria-infected open wounds in pathogenic bacteria contaminated environments.Chaofeng Wang Yue Luo Xiangmei Liu Zhenduo Cui Yufeng Zheng Yanqin Liang Zhaoyang Li Shengli Zhu Jie Lei Xiaobo Feng Shuilin Wu 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,7:3
3Recursive formulations for the method of reverberation-ray matrix and the application显示文摘A recursive formulation is proposed for the method of reverberation-ray matrix (MRRM) to exactly analyze the free vibration of a multi-span continuous rectangular Kirchhoff plate, which has two oppo- site simply-supported edges. In contrast to the traditional MRRM, numerical stability is achieved by using the present new formulation for high-order frequencies or/and for plates with large span-to-width ratios. The heavy computational cost of storage and memory are also cut down. An improved recursive formulation is further proposed by modifying the iterative formula to reduce the matrix inversion op- erations. 6Preparation and Characterization of Mg/Al/Fe Hydrotalcite with Superb Absorption Capacity toward Congo Red显示文摘Mg/Al/Fe layered double hydroxide(MAF-LDH1) was prepared by solvothermal method with the sodium dodecyl sulfate as the template, and the ethanol system was benefit to growth of sample. The nature in the resulting MAF-LDH was investigated by X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transformed infrared spectra, thermogravimetric analysis, and N2 adsorption-desorption.The morphology of MAF-LDH1 is petal-like with the size of 400-500 nm and the thickness about 10-20 nm. The adsorption performance of the samples was evaluated by absorption of the Congo red(CR) solutions. Compared with Mg/Al layered double hydroxide(MA-LDH), the maximum adsorption capacities of the MAF-LDH1 samples were 943.4 mg/g which was greatly enhanced. Furthermore, after seven cycling tests, the adsorption performance was still up to 90%. Theoretical calculation results revealed that the adsorption process was spontaneous and followed the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Freundlich model. 7Controllable wave propagation in a weakly nonlinear monoatomic lattice chain with nonlocal interaction and active control显示文摘The one-dimensional monoatomic lattice chain connected by nonlinear springs is investigated, and the asymptotic solution is obtained through the Lindstedt-Poincar′e perturbation method. The dispersion relation is derived with the consideration of both the nonlocal and the active control effects. The numerical results show that the nonlocal effect can effectively enhance the frequency in the middle part of the dispersion curve.When the nonlocal effect is strong enough, zero and negative group velocities will be evoked at different points along the dispersion curve, which will provide different ways of transporting energy including the forward-propagation, localization, and backwardpropagation of wavepackets related to the phase velocity. Both the nonlinear effect and the active control can enhance the frequency, but neither of them is able to produce zero or negative group velocities. Specifically, the active control enhances the frequency of the dispersion curve including the point at which the reduced wave number equals zero, and therefore gives birth to a nonzero cutoff frequency and a band gap in the low frequency range. 11Defect-rich ultrathin poly-heptazine-imide-framework nanosheets with alkali-ion doping for photocatalytic solar hydrogen and selective benzylamine oxidation显示文摘Polymeric carbon nitride(CN)as a metal-free photocatalyst holds great promise to produce high-value chemicals and H_(2) fuel utilizing clean solar energy.However,the wider deployment of pristine CN is critically hampered by the poor charge carrier transport and high recombination.Herein,we develop a facile salt template-assisted interfacial polymerization strategy that insitu introduces alkali ions(Na+,K+)and nitrogen defects in CN(denoted as v-CN-KNa)to simultaneously promote charge separation and transportation and steer photoexcited holes and electrons to their oxidation and reduction sites.The photocatalyst exhibits an impressive photocatalytic H_(2) evolution rate of 8641.5μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1)(33-fold higher than pristine CN)and also works readily in real seawater(10752.0μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1))with a high apparent quantum efficiency up to 18.5%at 420 nm.In addition,we further demonstrate that the v-CN-KNa can simultaneously produce H_(2) and N-benzylidenebenzylamine without using any other sacrificial reagent.In situ characterizations and DFT calculations reveal that the alkali ions notably promote charge transport,while the nitrogen defects generate abundant edge active sites,which further contribute to efficient electron excitation to trigger photoredox reactions.Chaofeng Zhu Xiao Luo Congyan Liu Yang Wang Xihai Chen Yan Wang Qing Hu Xiaojun Wu Bo Liu 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:0

13Roles of DEMETER in regulating DNA methylation in vegetative tissues and pathogen resistance显示文摘DNA methylation is an epigenetic mark important for genome stability and gene expression.In Arabidopsis thaliana,the 5-methylcytosine DNA glycosylase/demethylase DEMETER(DME)controls active DNA demethylation during the reproductive stage;however,the lethality of loss-of-function dme mutations has made it difficult to assess DME function in vegetative tissues.Here,we edited DME using clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein 9 and created three weak dme mutants that produced a few viable seeds.We also performed central cell-specific complementation in a strong dme mutant and combined this line with mutations in the other three Arabidopsis demethylase genes to generate the dme ros1 dml2 dml3(drdd)quadruple mutant.A DNA methylome analysis showed that DME is required for DNA demethylation at hundreds of genomic regions in vegetative tissues.A transcriptome analysis of the drdd mutant revealed that DME and the other three demethylases are important for plant responses to biotic and abiotic stresses in vegetative tissues.Despite the limited role of DME in regulating DNA methylation in vegetative tissues,the dme mutants showed increased susceptibility to bacterial and fungal pathogens.Our study highlights the important functions of DME in vegetative tissues and provides valuable genetic tools for future investigations of DNA demethylation in plants.Wenjie Zeng Huan Huang Xueqiang Lin Chen Zhu Ken-ichi Kosami Chaofeng Huang Huiming Zhang Cheng-Guo Duan Jian-Kang Zhu Daisuke Miki 2021Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,4:0
14Manipulating micro-electric field and coordination-saturated site configuration boosted activity and safety of frustrated single-atom Cu/O Lewis pair for acetylene hydrochlorination显示文摘Simultaneously boosting acetylene hydrochlorination activity and avoiding formation of explosive copper acetylide over Cu-based catalyst,which represented a promising alternative to Hg-based and noble metal catalysts,remained challenging.Herein,we fabricated a frustrated single-atom Cu/O Lewis pair catalyst(Cu/O-FLP)by coupling epoxide group(C-O-C)with atomdispersed Cu-cis-N_(2)C_(2)Cl center to address this challenge.The basic epoxy site modulated the electron-deficient state of Lewisacidic Cu center and paired with the Cu-cis-N_(2)C_(2)Cl moiety to preferentially break HCl into different electronegative Cu-Clδ-and C-O-H^(δ+)intermediates,which further induced both an extra localized electric field to polarize acetylene and a upshift of the dband center of catalyst,thereby promoting adsorption and enrichment of acetylene by enhancing the dipolar interaction between acetylene and active intermediates.Moreover,the generated Cu-Clδ-and C-O-H^(δ+)drastically reduced the energy barrier of ratelimiting step and made vinyl chloride easier to desorb from the Lewis-basic oxygen-atom site rather than traditional Lewis-acidic Cu center.These superiorities ensured a higher activity of Cu/O-FLP compared with its counterparts.Meanwhile,preferential dissociation of HCl endowed single-atom Cu with the coordination-saturated configuration,which impeded formation of explosive copper acetylide by avoiding the direct interaction between Cu and acetylene,ensuring the intrinsic safety during catalysis.Junchen Peng Dandan Dong Zongyuan Wang Hong Yang Dongyang Qiao Qinqin Wang Wei Sun Minmin Liu Jiajun Wang Mingyuan Zhu Bin Dai Fei He Chaofeng Huang 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
