| 1 | IncR26319/miR-2834/EndophilinA axis regulates oogenesis of the silkworm,Bombyx mori显示文摘Oocyte maturation is critical for insect reproduction.Vitellogenesis,the timely production and uptake of vitellogenin(Vg),is crucial for female fecundity.Vg is synthesized in fat body and absorbed by the oocytes through endocytosis during insect oogenesis.In the silkworm,Bombyx mori,we discovered that a nucleus-enriched long-noncoding RNA(lncRNA)lncR26319 regulates Endophilin A(EndoA)-a member of the endophilin family of endocytic proteins-through competitive binding to miR-2834.The lncR26319-miR-2834-EndoA axis was required for Vg endocytosis in the silkworm;loss of EndoA or overexpression ofmiR-2834significantlyreduced eggnumbers invirginmoths.Inaddition,accumulation of miR-2834 resulted in pupal and adult deformation and reduced fecundity in females.The expression of Vg,30-kDa(30K)protein,and egg-specific protein(Esp)decreased after knockdown of EndoA or overexpression of miR-2834,while knockdown of miR-2834 had an opposite effect on the expression of Vg,30K protein gene,and Esp.These results suggest that the lncR26319-miR-2834-EndoA axis contributes to the endocytic activity in theVguptake and leads to the normal progression of oogenesis in the silkworm.Thus,miR-2834 and EndoA are crucial for female reproduction and could be potential targets for new pest management strategies in lepidopterans. | Yi Wang Yu Fu Hao Chena Chenyue Zhao Qunxia Huang Meiling Chang Wujie Qiu Yawen Shen Dandan Li | 2023 | Insect Science2023,30,1: | 1 |
| 2 | Enabling ultrafast lithium-ion conductivity of Li_(2)ZrCl_(6) by indium doping显示文摘Solid-state batteries with high energy density and safety are promising next-generation battery systems.However,lithium oxide and lithium sulfide electrolytes suffer low ionic conductivity and poor electrochemical stability,respectively.Lithium halide solid electrolyte shows high conductivity and good compatibility with the pristine high-voltage cathode but limited applications due to the high price of rare metal.Zr-based lithium halides with low cost and high stability possess great potential.Herein,a small amount of In^(3+)is introduced in Li_(2)ZrCl_(6) to synthesize Li_(2.25)Zr_(0.75)In_(0.25)Cl_(6) electrolytes with a high room temperature Li-ion conductivity of 1.08 mS/cm.Solid-state batteries using Li_(2.25)Zr_(0.75)In_(0.25)Cl_(6)/Li_(5.5)PS_(4.5)Cl_(1.5) bilayer solid electrolytes combined with Li-In anode and pristine LiNi_(0.7)Mn_(0.2)Co_(0.1)O_(2) cathode deliver high initial discharge capacities under different cut-off voltages.This work provides an effective strategy for enhancing the conductivity of Li2ZrCl6 electrolytes,promoting their applications in solid-state batteries. | Shuai Chena Chuang Yu Shaoqing Chen Linfeng Peng Cong Liao Chaochao Wei Zhongkai Wu Shijie Cheng Jia Xie | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,10: | 1 |

| 9 | Amorphous molybdenum sulfide mediated EDTA with multiple active sites to boost heavy metal ions removal显示文摘The rational design of strong affinity adsorbents for heavy metal ions removal remains a critical challenge for water treatment.In this study,amorphous molybdenum sulfide composites(EDTA-MoSx(x=2,3))were fabricated via a facile hydrothermal method mediated by EDTA,which was applied to heavy metal ions(Cu^(2+),Cd^(2+),Pb^(2+),Zn^(2+)and Ni^(2+))removal from aqueous solutions.A case study for Cu^(2+)ions showed that the adsorption capacity of EDTA-MoSx(x=2,3)was superior to crystalline phase MoS2 at pH 6.0 with an initial concentration of 200 mg/L.Adsorption mechanisms of different sulfide groups and—COOH of EDTA-MoSx(x=2,3)were verified systematically via a series of experiments,characterizations,and density functional theory(DFT)calculations.Both bridging S_(2)^(2-)and—COOH covalently bonded with Cu^(2+)ions were ascribed to the critical factors for this enhanced removal efficiency on the surface of EDTA-MoSx(x=2,3).This work offers a new method to enhance the adsorption performance of molybdenum sulfide-based materials by controlling crystallinity mediated with an organic complex small molecule. | Qi Huang Yizhong Zhang Wei Zhou Xiang Huang Yiliang Chena Xin Tan Tao Yu | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,9: | 0 |

| 11 | Mechanistic engineering of celastrol liposomes induces ferroptosis and apoptosis by directly targeting VDAC2 in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of most common and deadliest malignancies.Celastrol(Cel),a natural product derived from the Tripterygium wilfordii plant,has been extensively researched for its potential effectiveness in fighting cancer.However,its clinical application has been hindered by the unclear mechanism of action.Here,we used chemical proteomics to identify the direct targets of Cel and enhanced its targetability and antitumor capacity by developing a Cel-based liposomes in HCC.We demonstrated that Cel selectively targets the voltage-dependent anion channel 2(VDAC2).Cel directly binds to the cysteine residues of VDAC2,and induces cytochrome C release via dysregulating VDAC2-mediated mitochondrial permeability transition pore(mPTP)function.We further found that Cel induces ROS-mediated ferroptosis and apoptosis in HCC cells.Moreover,coencapsulation of Cel into alkyl glucoside-modified liposomes(AGCL)improved its antitumor efficacy and minimized its side effects.AGCL has been shown to effectively suppress the proliferation of tumor cells.In a xenograft nude mice experiment,AGCL significantly inhibited tumor growth and promoted apoptosis.Our findings reveal that Cel directly targets VDAC2 to induce mitochondria-dependent cell death,while the Cel liposomes enhance its targetability and reduces side effects.Overall,Cel shows promise as a therapeutic agent for HCC. | Piao Luo Qian Zhang Shuo Shen Yehai An Lixia Yuan Yin-Kwan Wong Sizhe Huang Shaohui Huang Jingnan Huang Guangqing Cheng Jiahang Tian Yu Chena Xiaoyong Zhang Weiguang Li Songqi He Jigang Wang Qingfeng Du | 2023 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2023,18,6: | 0 |
| 12 | Boosting Li-ion storage in Li2MnO_(3) by unequal-valent Ti4+-substitution and interlayer Li vacancies building显示文摘Lithium rich layered oxide(LRLO) has been considered as one of the promising cathodes for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs). The high voltage and large capacity of LRLO depend on Li2MnO_(3)phase. To ameliorate the electrochemical performance of Li2MnO_(3), also written as Li(Li1/3Mn2/3)O_(2), we propose a strategy to substitute Mn4+and Li+in Mn/Li transition metal layer with Ti4+, which can stabilize the structure of Li2MnO_(3)by inhibiting the excessive oxidation of O_(2)-above 4.5 V. More significantly, the unequal-valent substitution brings about the emergence of interlayer Li vacancies, which can promote the Li-ion diffusion based on the enlarged interlayer and increase the capacity by activating the Mn3+/4+redox. We designed Li0.7[Li1/3Mn2/3]0.7Ti0.3O_(2)with high interlayer Li vacancies, which presents a high capacity(290 m Ah/g at 10 m A/g) and stable cycling performance(84% over 60 cycles at 50 m A/g).
