1Characterization of MR-1,a Novel Myofibrillogenesis Regulator in Human Muscle显示文摘The actin-myosin contractile apparatus consists of several thick filament and thin filament proteins. Specific regulatory mechanisms are involved in this highly ordered process. In this paper, we reported the identification and characterization of a novel myofibrillogenesis regulator, MR-1. The MR-1 gene was cloned from human skeletal muscle cDNA library by using a strategy that involves EST data base searching, PCR and RACE. The MR-1 gene is located on human chromosome 2q35 and encodes a 142 aa protein. Northern blot revealed that the mRNA level of MR-1 was highest in the skeletal muscle and certain level of MR-1 expression was also observed in heart, liver and kidney. Immunohistochemical assay confirmed that the MR-1 protein existed in human myocardial myofibrils. It was found by yeast two-hybrid screening and confirmed by in vitro binding assay that MR-1 could interact with sarcomeric proteins, such as myosin regulatory light chain, myomesin 1 and β-enolase. 3Breeding of a Natural Green Cocoon Quaternary Hybrid Combination Xiangcailu No.1 for Spring Rearing显示文摘The breeding activities aimed to create a natural green cocoon variety for spring rearing with the characteristics of stable natural cocoon color,easy rearing and good silk quality.Four different lines from the excellent silkworm variety Jingsong×Haoyue were taken as recurrent parents,using the natural green cocoon variety G 9202 as donor parent.After other excellent parents were introduced to cross with these different lines,four new breeding materials were selected by recurrent backcross breeding.The characters of these breeding materials showed not only natural green cocoon but also excellent comprehensive traits.A naturally colored cocoon quaternary hybrid with excellent practical characters was selected based on multiple hybrids.It is suitable for spring rearing in Yangtze valley which includes Hunan Province.It was approved by Hunan Provincial Crop Variety Approval Committee and designated Xiangcailu No.1 in 2016.Hong XUE Junwen AI Yanghu SIMA Xingjian HE Changwen LIU Ying ZHENG Yong LIU Yun TANG 2019Agricultural Biotechnology2019,8,4:1

6Study of three-dimensional PET and MR image registration based on higher-order mutual information显示文摘Mutual information has currently been one of the most intensivelyresearched measures. It has been proven to be accurate and effective registrationmeasure. Despite the general promising results, mutual information sometimes mightlead to misregistration because of neglecting spatial information and treating intensityvariations with undue sensitivity. In this paper, an extension of mutual informationframework was proposed in which higher-order spatial information regarding imagestructures was incorporated into the registration processing of PET and MR. Thesecond-order estimate of mutual information algorithm was applied to the registrationof seven patients. 7Getting Them Out Of Poverty——Poverty Alleviation Project in Manas, Xinjiang显示文摘Manas has been the most affluent county in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, northwest China. The per capita income reached 5,318 yuan (8.27 yuan against US dollar) in 2002. Yet some households in the county are still living in poverty. To get them rid of poverty, the county government has launched a poverty alleviation project, which has involved some 160 government institntions, enterprises, schools and other units. An official review on the project last year found that good results had been achieved in poverty alleviation.
