1Relationship between microvessel density and telomerase activity in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘AIM: To study the relationship between microvessel density(MVD), telomerase activity and biological characteristics in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).METHODS: S-P immunohistochemical method and telomeric repeat amplification protocol (TRAP) were respectively used to analyze the MVD and telomerase activity in 58 HCC and adjacent normal tissues.RESULTS: The MVD in HCC with metastasis, lower differentiation or without intact capsule was significantly higher than that in HCC with intact capsule, higher differentiation, or without metastasis. While MVD had no relationship with tumor size, hepatic virus infection and other clinical factors. Telomerase activity was related to differentiation degree, but not to tumor size or histological grade. MVD in HCC with telomerase activity was higher than that in HCC without telomerase activity.CONCLUSION: MVD and telomerase activity may serve as diagnostic criteria of HCC in earlier stage. 10Stretchable iontronics with robust interface bonding between dielectric and ion-conducting elastomers显示文摘Dry ion-conducting elastomers(ICEs)are emerging stretchable and ionic conductive materials that are demonstrated with excellent thermal stability and great promise in multifunctional iontronic devices.Nevertheless,the poor interface between the ICEs and the dielectric material is one of the issues hindering the application of the stretchable iontronic device.Herein,a polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)based ion-conducting elastomer with dynamic crosslinking structures is reported,which achieves the stretchability of 475%and healing efficiency of 99%.More importantly,a robust interface bonding can be generated between the electrode and the dielectric material,which is beneficial to enhance the performance and lifespan of the flexible iontronic devices.Using this PDMS based ICE as the electrode and PDMS as the dielectric material,two stretchable iontronic devices(triboelectric nanogenerator and capacitive pressure sensor)are realized with overall self-healing and stretchable capabilities.These findings provide a promising strategy to achieve integrate stretchable iontronics or electronics with a robust interface between the electrode and dielectric materials.Zhongpeng Li Panpan Zhang Yangshi Shao Zi-Hao Guo Xiong Pu 2023Nano Research2023,16,9:0
11Graphene-based dual-function acoustic transducers for machine learning-assisted human-robot interfaces显示文摘Human–robot interface(HRI)electronics are critical for realizing robotic intelligence.Here,we report graphene-based dual-function acoustic transducers for machine learning-assisted human–robot interfaces(GHRI).The GHRI functions both an artificial ear through the triboelectric acoustic sensing mechanism and an artificial mouth through the thermoacoustic sound emission mechanism.The success of the integrated device is also attributed to the multifunctional laser-induced graphene,as either triboelectric materials,electrodes,or thermoacoustic sources.By systematically optimizing the structure parameters,the GHRI achieves high sensitivity(4500 mV Pa^(–1))and operating durability(1000000 cycles and 60 days),capable of recognizing speech identities,emotions,content,and other information in the human speech.With the assistance of machine learning,30 speech categories are trained by a convolutional neural network,and the accuracy reaches 99.66%and 96.63%in training datasets and test datasets.Furthermore,GHRI is used for artificial intelligence communication based on recognized speech features.Our work shows broad prospects for the development of robotic intelligence.Hao Sun Xin Gao Liang-Yan Guo Lu-Qi Tao Zi Hao Guo Yangshi Shao Tianrui Cui Yi Yang Xiong Pu Tian-Ling Ren 2023InfoMat2023,5,2:0
12A multifunctional battery module design for electric vehicle显示文摘Reducing the overall vehicle weight is an efficient,system-level approach to increase the drive range of electric vehicle,for which structural parts in auto-frame may be replaced by battery modules.Such battery modules must be structurally functional,e.g.,energy absorbing,while the battery cells are not necessarily loading–carrying.We designed and tested a butterfly-shaped battery module of prismatic cells,which could self-unfold when subjected to a compressive loading.Angle guides and frictionless joints were employed to facilitate the large deformation.Desired resistance to external loading was offered by additional energy absorption elements.The battery-module behavior and the battery-cell performance were controlled separately.Numerical simulation verified the experimental results.MengWang LiangliangZhu AnhV.Le DanielJ.Noelle YangShi YingZhong FengHao XiChen YuQiao 2017Journal of Modern Transportation2017,25,4:0
