1Detrital zircon age model of Ordovician Wenquan quartzite south of Lungmuco-Shuanghu Suture in the Qiangtang area, Tibet: Constraint on tectonic affinity and source regions显示文摘Early to Middle Ordovician strata, including Wenquan quartzite, occur widely in the Himalaya, Lhasa, and south Qiangtang blocks. The Wenquan quartzite occurs on the south side of the Lungmuco-Shuanghu Suture in the Qiangtang area, Tibet. A total of 145 analyses on detrital zircons from the quartzite show five age ranges of 520-700, ca. 800, 900-1100, 1800-1900, and 2400-2500 Ma, with particularly distinct age peaks of 625 and 950 Ma. The reliable youngest detrital zircon age is 525 Ma, and the oldest, 3180 Ma. Detrital zircons show large variations in Hf isotope composition, with depleted mantle model ages t DM (Hf) ranging from 750 to 3786 Ma. Based on data obtained in this study and by others, the main conclusions are as follows: 1) Low-grade metamorphic sedimentary rocks are distributed extensively in the south of the Lungmuco-Shuanghu Suture and are Phanerozoic in age; 2) Pan-African and Grenville-Jinning tectono-thermal events were well developed in the source region of the Wenquan quartzite; 3) the source region shows crustal addition and recycling of different periods; 4) Wenquan quartzite was derived from the Gondwana metamorphic basement, suggesting that the Qiangtang block is a Gondwanan fragment.DONG ChunYan LI Cai WAN YuSheng WANG Wei WU YanWang XIE HangQiang LIU DunYi 2011Science China Earth Sciences2011,54,7:39
2Relationship between genetic polymorphisms of metabolizing enzymes CYP2E1, GSTM1 and Kazakh's esophageal squamous cell cancer in Xinjiang, China显示文摘AIM: To analyze the relationship between genetic polymorphisms of metabolizing enzymes CYP2E1, GSTM1 andKazakh's esophageal squamous cell cancer in China.METHODS: The genotypes of cytochromes P450 (CYP) 2E1 and glutathione S-transferase (GST) M1 were investigated by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) following PCR in 104 Kazakh's patients with esophageal cancer (EC) and 104 non-cancer controls.RESULTS: The frequency of CYP2E1 c1/c1 genotype was significantly higher in patients with cancer (77.9%) thanin control subjects (24.0%) (P<0.05; OR, 11.13; 95%CI,5.84-21.22). The difference of GSTM1 null was significantly more frequent in the cancer (34.6%) vsthe control group (3.8%) (P<0.05; OR, 13.24; 95%CI, 4.50-38.89). On the other hand, the combination of GSTM1 presence and CYP2E1 c1/c1 genotypes increased the risk for cancer (P<0.05;OR, 13.42; 95%CI, 6.29-28.3).CONCLUSION: The CYP2E1 c1/c1, GSTM1 deletion genotypes are genetically susceptible biomarkers for ESCC in Kazakh population. Individuals with allele c1 of RsaI polymorphic locus for CYP2E1 may increase the risk of ESCC. 3p53 polymorphism in human papillomavirus-associated Kazakh's esophageal cancer in Xinjiang,China显示文摘AIM: To investigate the relationship between p53 codon 72 polymorphism and human papillomavirus (HPV) type 16 infection in Kazakh's esophageal cancer (EC) in Xinjiang, China.METHODS: Encoding regions of p53codon 72 and HPV-16 E6 were amplified by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) methods using pairs of primary esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) tissue and corresponding normal mucosa, which were collected from 104 patients of Kazakh in Xinjiang, China. RESULTS: Only arginine allele was detected in 70.1% (39/55) of HPV-16-E6-positive cases but only in 40.8% (20/49) of HPV-16-E6-negative cases (P<0.05; OR, 3.53; 95% CI, 1.57-7.98). In contrast, such a significant correlation between p53 polymorphism and HPV infection was not evident in corresponding normal mucosae. The allele frequency of Arg allele in cancer cases (0.68) was higher than that in normal mucosa samples (0.54) (P<0.05; OR, 1.80; 95% CI, 1.21-2.69).CONCLUSION: p53 codon 72 Arg homozygous genotype is one of the high-risk genetic factors for HPV-associated SCC of Kazakh. 4Pan-African and early Paleozoic tectonothermal events in the Nyainrong microcontinent:Constraints from geochronology and geochemistry显示文摘To better understand the Pan-African-early Paleozoic tectonothermal events of the Nyainrong microcontinent and the constraints on its tectonic evolution,here we report the results of zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating and geochemical features of Amdo gneiss in the Nyainrong microcontinent.The outcrops of Amdo gneiss is about 30 km south of Amdo County in northern Tibet.The field occurrence,mineral composition,textural characteristics,and whole-rock geochemical features of the four gneiss samples indicate the protolith of the gneisses is intermediate-acid intrusive rock.Gneiss zircon trace element tracing and genetic analysis shows that zircon has typical characteristics of magmatic zircon.The206Pb/238U concordant age of zircon is505–517 Ma,corresponding to the Middle-Late Cambrian,which is the formation age of the protolith.The samples have characteristics of high silicon,alkali-rich,alkalic rate AR=1.73–3.7,the differentiation index DI=70.78–90.28;rock aluminum saturation index ranges from 1.02 to 1.05,FeO/MgO ranges from 2.63 to 4.50,10000×Ga/Al ranges from 2.12 to 2.41,and P2O5and Al2O3content decreased with SiO2increasing.Th and Y contents have a good positive correlation with Rb content;the genetic type of protolith of the gneiss is the differentiation of subalkaline over aluminum I-type granite.Combined with regional data,the tectonic setting of the Amdo gneiss protolith is closely related to the collision orogenic process.The preliminary view is that the Middle-Late Cambrian magmatic events developed on the microcontinent could be the result of Andeantype orogeny along the Gondwana super-continental margin after the end of the Pan-African orogeny.XIE ChaoMing LI Cai SU Li WU YanWang XIE YaoWu 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,12:11
5In vitro resistance to interferon of hepatitis B virus with precore mutation显示文摘AIM: Chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is predominantly treated with interferon alpha (IFN-α), which results in an efficient reduction of the viral load only in 20-40% of treated patients. Mutations at HBV precore prevail in different clinical status of HBV infection. The roles of precore mutation in the progression of chronic hepatitis and interferon sensitivity are still unknown. The aim of this study was to explore if there was any relationship between HBV precore mutation and sensitivity to interferon in vitro.METHODS: HBV replication-competent recombinant constructs with different patterns of precore mutations were developed. Then the recombinants were transiently transfected into hepatoma cell line (Huh7) by calcium phosphate transfection method. With or without IFN, viral products in culture medium were collected and quantified 3d after transfection.RESULTS: We obtained 4 recombinant constructs by orientation-cloning 1.2-fold-overlength HBV genome into pUC18 vector via the EcoRI and Hind Ⅲ and PCR mediated site-directed mutagenesis method. All the recombinants contained mutations within precore region. Huh7 cells transfected with recombinants secreted HBsAg and HBV particles into the cell culture medium, indicating that all the recombinants were replication-competent. By comparing the amount of HBV DNA in the medium, we found that HBV DNA in medium reflecting HBV replication efficiency was different in different recombinants. Recombinants containing precore mutation had fewer HBV DNAs in culture medium than wild type. This result showed that recombinants containing precore mutation had lower replication efficiency than wild type. HBV DNA was decreased in pUC18-HBV1.2-WT recombinants after IFN was added while others with precore mutations were not, indicating that HBV harboring precore mutation was less sensitive to IFN in cell culture system.CONCLUSION: These data indicate that HBV harboring precore mutation may be resistant to IFN in vitro.YanWang LaiWei DongJiang XuCong RanFei JiangXiao YuWang 2005World Journal of Gastroenterology2005,11,5:10
6Opening of the Longmu Co–Shuanghu–Lancangjiang ocean:constraints from plagiogranites显示文摘This paper reports new zircon U-Pb ages,and Hf isotope and whole-rock major and trace element data for Cambrian plagiogranites from the Tuobeiling ophiolite in central Qiangtang,Tibetan Plateau.Zircon SIMS and LAICP-MS U-Pb dating of the plagiogranites yield weighted mean ages of 504.8±4.2 and 491.6±1.5 Ma,respectively.The zircons from plagiogranites exhibit positive eHf(t)values(ranging from 11.46 to 15.16),indicating that the plagiogranites are derived from depleted mantle.These plagiogranites are characterized by high SiO2and Na2O,low K2O,low REE contents,and flat REE distribution patterns.These rocks have geochemical compositions typical of oceanic plagiogranite and,considered along with their petrography and field relationships,are interpreted to have derived from anatexis of hydrated amphibolites by ductile shearing during transports of the oceanic crust.The formation age of such type of plagiogranite is slightly younger than that of the associated section of oceanic crust.Thus the new results from these plagiogranites suggest that the Longmu Co–Shuanghu–Lancangjiang ocean had probably opened before the Middle Cambrian.Peiyuan Hu Cai Li Yanwang Wu Chaoming Xie Ming Wang Jiao Li 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,25:9
7Petrology, Geochemistry and Tectonic Significance of the Metamorphic Peridotites from Longmuco-Shuanghu Ophiolitic Melange belt, Tibet显示文摘Taoxinghu metamorphic peridotite is a firstly reported mantle sequence of ophiolite since Longmuco-Shuanghu-Lancangjiang suture zone (LSLSZ) was proposed, and it is also an important discovered for ophiolite studying in central Qiangtang. Based on detailed analyses of whole-rock geochemistry of Taoxinghu metamorphic peridotites and contrast to metamorphic peridotites in typical ophiolites worldwide, the paper investigates their petrogenesis and geological implication. The petrologic results show that the protolith of Taoxinghu metamorphic perdotites have the mineral assemblage and texture characteristic of mantle peridotite. Most metamorphic peridotites hav near global abyssal peridotites major elements contents, while the few is similar to SSZ-type peridotites. They exhibit typically U-shaped REE patterns, characterized by slight enrichment of LREE and HREE relative to MREE and a low fractionated LREE to HREE segment. Trace elements contents are low and all samples are strong enrichment in Cs, U, Pb, weak enrichment in Ba and depletion in Th, but negative Nb anomalies are only observed in few samples. That suggests Taoxinghu metamorphic peridotites have depletion mantle and suprasubduction affinities. A two-stage evolution history is considered: Taoxinghu metamorphic peridotites originated as the residue from melting at a ridge with 7%-20% degree of fraction melting and were subsequently modified by interaction with mafic melt and aqueous fluid within mantle wedge on subducted zone. 8Physiological and Biochemical Changes in Microcystis aeruginosa Qutz. in Phosphorus Limitation显示文摘Effects of phosphorus limitation on the physiological and biochemical changes of the freshwater bloom alga Microcystis aeruginosa Qutz. are reported in the present study. As a result of phosphorus limitation, biomass was controlled to some extent and the protein content per cell in vivo decreased. However,the carbohydrate content per cell was higher in phosphorus limitation over the 8 d of cultivation. Soluble proteins were distinct in the media, whereas phosphorus deficiency induced the presence of a unique protein (16.2 kDa). Under conditions of phosphorus limitation, the activities of both superoxide dismutase and peroxidase per cell in vivo were lower than under normal conditions in the last cultivation. The in vivo absorption spectra of cells showed chlorophyll absorption peaks at 676 and 436 nm, over 10 nm red-shifted from the normal position; cells showed an absence of a chlorophyll c with an in vivo absorption peak at 623nm and an extraction absorption peak at 617 nm. The chlorophyll a/carotene and chlorophyll a/xanthophylls ratios decreased under conditions of phosphorus limitation, photosynthetic efficiency (Fv/Fm) was clearly lower, and the low-temperature fluorescence emission spectra indicated a higher peak at 683 nm and a lower peak at 721 nm relatively, with the 721 nm peak drifting slightly to the red and the 683 nm peak strengthened with a weakened 692 nm shoulder peak.Ming-MingOU YanWANG Wei-MinCAI 2005Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2005,47,6:8
9Color-related chlorophyll and carotenoid concentrations of Chinese kale can be altered through CRISPR/Cas9 targeted editing of the carotenoid isomerase gene BoaCRTISO显示文摘The carotenoid isomerase gene(BoaCRTISO)of Chinese kale was targeted and edited using the CRISPR/Cas9 system in the present study.The results showed a high mutation rate(81.25%),and 13 crtiso mutants were obtained.Only two types of mutations,insertions and replacements,were found.Both the total and individual carotenoid and chlorophyll concentrations of the biallelic and homozygous mutants were reduced,and the total levels declined by 11.89–36.33%.The color of the biallelic and homozygous mutants changed from green to yellow,likely reflecting a reduction in the color-masking effect of chlorophyll on carotenoids.The expression levels of most carotenoid and chlorophyll biosynthesis-related genes,including CRTISO,were notably lower in the mutants than in the WT plants.In addition,the functional differences between members of this gene family were discussed.In summary,these findings indicate that CRISPR/Cas9 is a promising technique for the quality improvement of Chinese kale and other Brassica vegetables.Bo Sun Min Jiang Hao Zheng Yue Jian Wen-Li Huang Qiao Yuan Ai-Hong Zheng Qing Chen Yun-Ting Zhang Yuan-Xiu Lin YanWang Xiao-Rong Wang Qiao-Mei Wang Fen Zhang Hao-Ru Tang 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:7
10Zircon U-Pb Age,Geochemical Data:Constraints on the Origin and Tectonic Evolution of the Metamafic Rocks from Longmuco-Shuanghu-Lancang Suture Zone,Tibet显示文摘Bulk-rock major and trace elements and zircon U-Pb data are reported for Permian metamafic rocks from Guoganjianan, in the western part of Longmuco-Shuanghu-Lancang suture zone. These results offer new insights into mantle source characteristics and geodynamic setting of Permian ophiolitic fragments. U-Pb isotopic dating using SHRIMP II method reveals that the metamafic rocks were formed at 274.7± 3.9 and 279.8± 3.6 Ma. The metamafic rocks mostly show N-MORB-typed rare earth element patterns and are enrichment in large-ion lithophile elements, indicating that they are probably derived from partial melting of a depleted mantle in a back-arc basin. Our new data, together with recent studied results on Paleozoic ophiolitic fragments suggest the Paleo-Tethys Ocean in Central Qiangtang opened at Cambrian and widened between Ordovician and Devonian. 11A hybrid genetic algorithm based on mutative scale chaos optimization strategy显示文摘In order to avoid such problems as low convergent speed and local optimal solution in simple genetic algorithms, a new hybrid genetic algorithm is proposed. In this algorithm, a mutative scale chaos optimization strategy is operated on the population after a genetic operation. And according to the searching process, the searching space of the optimal variables is gradually diminished and the regulating coefficient of the secondary searching process is gradually changed which will lead to the quick evolution of the population. 13The Petrology, Geochemistry, and Petrogenesis of E-MORB-type Mafic Rocks from the Guomangco Ophiolitic Mélange, Tibet显示文摘The Guomangco ophiolitic mélange is situated in the middle part of the Shiquanhe–Yongzhu–Jiali ophiolitic mélange belt(SYJMB) and possesses all the subunits of a typical Penrosetype ophiolite pseudostratigraphy. The study of the Guomangco ophiolitic mélange is very important for investigating the tectonic evolution of the SYJMB. The mafic rocks of this ophiolitic mélange mainly include diabases, sillite dikes, and basalts. Geochemical analysis shows that these dikes mostly have E-MORB major and trace element signatures; this is the first time that this has been observed in the SYJMB. The basalts have N-MORB and IAB affinities, and the mineral chemistry of harzburgites shows a composition similar to that of SSZ peridotites, indicating that the Guomangco ophiolitic mélange probably originated in a back-arc basin. The Guomangco back-arc basin opened in the Middle Jurassic, which was caused by southward subduction of the Neo-Tethys Ocean in central Tibet. The main spreading of this back-arc basin occurred during the Late Jurassic, and the basalts were formed during this time. With the development of the back-arc basin, the subducted slab gradually retreated, and new mantle convection occurred in the mantle wedge. The recycling may have caused the metasomatized mantle to undergo a high degree of partial melting and to generate EMORBs in the Early Cretaceous. 14Non-probe compensation of optical vortices carrying orbital angular momentum显示文摘In this paper, we demonstrate a scheme for compensating distorted optical vortex beams carrying orbital angular momentum. By inputting the intensity profile into the Gerchberg–Saxton algorithm [Optik 35, 237(1972)], the pre-compensation phase mask can be acquired. No additional probe beams are introduced, and all the computing is aiming at the transmitted vortex beams. The distorted vortex beams are investigated experimentally before and after pre-compensation, showing favorable compensation performance. 15Resistance index in differential diagnosis of liver lesions by color doppler ultrasonography显示文摘AIM: To investigate the specific value of resistance index (RI) in color Doppler ultrasonography in the diagnosis of focal hepatic lesions. METHODS: Eight hundred patients with 893 hepatic solid lesions were studied with color Doppler flow imagimg (CDFI) and pulsed Doppler, induding 644 malignant cases (596 primary malignant liver tumors, and 48 metastatic liver tumors), 156 benign cases. All were confirmed by operation and pathology. RESULTS: The detection rate of arterial flow in malignant tumors was 92%, and 52% in benign lesions. Doppler spectrum analysis showed that the resistance index in primary malignant tumors was 0.75±0.12, 0.73±0.09 in metastatic tumors, and was below 0.6 in benign lesions. The difference was significant (P<0.001). This difference was related with its histopathologic structure. CONCLUSION: The arterial flow with RI≥0.6 identified by CDFI within the liver lesion can be regarded as a criterion of malignant tumors, RI<0.6 can be regarded as benign disorders. 16Molecular Mechanism of Differentiation and Apoptosis of U937 Cells Induced by 12-O-Tetradecanoylphorbol-13-Acetate显示文摘OBJECTIVE To explore the effects of 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA) on differentiation, apoptosis and related molecular mechanisms in U937 myelomonocytic leukemia cells.METHODS Morphological changes were analyzed by phase contrast and light microscopy, expression of the monocytic differentiation maker CD11b by direct immunofluorescence staining, cell cycle distribution and apoptosis by flow cytometry, and expression of bcl-2, Bax, survivin and p21^Cip1/Waf1 proteins by Western analysis.RESULTS Treatment of U937 cells with 10nmol/L TPA induced cell adherence. The adherent cells showed G0/G1 cell cycle arrest (69.0% at 24h vs 52.1% control; P<0.01),and morphologic changes and increased expression of the monocytic differentiation marker CD1 lb (63.0% at 72h vs 15.3% control; P<0.01 ). In addition to these effects, about 20% of the cells still remained in suspension and exhibited a time-dependent increasing apoptosis, which reached 70.3% after 72h of treatment (P<0.01). TPA treatment for 24h induced expression of p21^Cip1/Waf1 in the adherent cells, but not in the non-adherent cells. Furthermore, bcl-2 and survivin expression declined in 24h-TPA-treated non-adherent cells compared with untreated control and adherent cells, whereas no change in the expression of Bax was detected.CONCLUSION TPA induces both differentiation and apoptosis in U937 cells,which may be related to the upregulation of p21^Cip1/Waf1 and downregulation of bcl-2 and survivin expression.YingLuo YunpengLiu KezuoHou SuWang YanWang 2005Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology2005,2,2:3
17A genome-wide association study uncovers a critical role of the RsPAP2 gene in red-skinned Raphanus sativus L.显示文摘Radish(Raphanus sativus L.)taproot contains high concentrations of flavonoids,including anthocyanins(ATCs),in redskinned genotypes.However,little information on the genetic regulation of ATC biosynthesis in radish is available.A genome-wide association study of radish red skin color was conducted using whole-genome sequencing data derived from 179 radish genotypes.The R2R3-MYB transcription factor production of anthocyanin pigment 2(PAP2)gene was found in the region associated with a leading SNP located on chromosome 2.The amino acid sequence encoded by the RsPAP2 gene was different from those of the other published RsMYB genes responsible for the red skin color of radish.The overexpression of the RsPAP2 gene resulted in ATC accumulation in Arabidopsis and radish,which was accompanied by the upregulation of several ATC-related structural genes.RsPAP2 was found to bind the RsUFGT and RsTT8 promoters,as shown by a dual-luciferase reporter system and a yeast one-hybrid assay.The promoter activities of the RsANS,RsCHI,RsPAL,and RsUFGT genes could be strongly activated by coinfiltration with RsPAP2 and RsTT8.These findings showed the effectiveness of GWAS in identifying candidate genes in radish and demonstrated that RsPAP2 could(either directly or together with its cofactor RsTT8)regulate the transcript levels of ATC-related genes to promote ATC biosynthesis,facilitating the genetic enhancement of ATC contents and other related traits in radish.Lianxue Fan YanWang Liang Xu Mingjia Tang Xiaoli Zhang Jiali Ying Cui Li Junhui Dong Liwang Liu 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:2

19^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar Thermochronology Constraints on Jurassic Tectonothermal Event of Nyainrong Microcontinent显示文摘To reveal the Jurassic tectonothermal event occurring to the Nyainrong microcontinent which is gripped among the Bangong-Nujiang suture zone,40Ar/39Ar dating was carried out on the basement orthogneiss and Jurassic granitc gneiss in the microcontinent.In the heating stage,four samples exhibited a flat plateau age,with the value Tp concentrated in the range of 166–176 Ma;isochron age Ti was concentrated in the range of 165–175 Ma,and their corresponding ages were the consistent within allowable range.The ages should be representative of the era of the final deformation of the Amdo gneiss and cooling emplacement of the magmatic rock in the Jurassic.The geochronological studies have shown that the final deformation of microcontinent crystalline basement and the cooling of the Mesozoic large-scale tectonothermal events occurred in late Middle Jurassic.In Middle Jurassic,Nyainrong microcontinent experienced strong tectonic movement.Combining with the geochronological with isotope geochemistry for the microcontinent,the cause of the tectonothermal event should be attributed to the collision between the Nyainrong microcontinent and South Qiangtang Block following the northward subduction of Bangong-Nujiang oceanic crust.Chaoming Xie Cai Li Yanwang Wu Ming Wang Peiyuan Hu 2014Journal of Earth Science2014,25,1:2
