| 1 | Alkaline Intrusives at the East Foot of the Taihang-Da Hinggan Mountains:Chronology,Sr,Nd and Pb Isotopic Characteristics and Their Implications显示文摘Based on the Rb-Sr isochron dating results, this paper suggests that the alkaline intrusive belt at the east foot of the Taihang-Da Hinggan Mountains were formed between 135 and 122 Ma. And the alkaline intrusives in the north and south sections of this belt have entirely different Sr, Nd and Pb isotopic characteristics, i.e., all the rocks in the south section have positive εSr(t) and negative εNd(t) values and all those in the north have the opposite values. On the εSr(t) versus εNd(t) correlation diagram, the samples from the south are concentrated along the enriched mantle evolution trend lines and nearby, while those from the north fall along the depleted mantle trend lines and nearby. On the Pb isotope composition diagram, most of the samples from the south section fall on the mantle Pb evolution line and nearby, while those from the north lie between the Pb evolution lines of the mantle and the erogenic belt. | 2 | Geological Features of Triassic Alkaline and Subalkaline Igneous Complexes in the Yan-Liao Area显示文摘A number of Triassic (245-195 Ma) alkaline or subalkaline igneous complexes were discovered in theYan-liao area in the northern part of the North China platform. These complexes are all poor in SiO2; most ofthem are rich in Fe, Mg, K and P and such incompatible elements as Rb, Ba, U and Sr and REE; theinitial 87Sr / 86Sr ratios range from 0.7055 to 0.7057. | 6 | Lentiviral-mediated siRNA against osteopotin in U251 glioma cell line显示文摘Background:It has been reported that the expression of SPP1, the mRNA for osteopontin (OPN), is increased in a number of transformed cell lines and some tumors. Increased serum and plasma OPN levels were associated with advanced-stage carcinomas of the lung, breast, colon and prostate. The extent of OPN expression may be correlated with the malignancy degree of gliomas, but the specific role of OPN in the malignancy of gliomas remains to be clarified. Methods:In this study, we used a lentiviral system, which could induce a long-lasting down-regulation of gene expression, to knock down the OPN gene in human glioma cell line U251. And then we observed the proliferation and apoptosis of glioma cells. Results:OPN mRNA and protein were successfully knocked down in U251 cells, and the expression of caspase-3 and caspase-9 were increased about by 2 folds in OPN down-regulated U251 cells. 3-[4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium (MTT) assay showed that OPN down-regulation did not affect the proliferation of U251 cells. | 7 | The Rb-Sr age and geological implication of alkaline syenitic complex from Liangtun-Kuangdonggou at Gaixian,eastern Liaoning Province显示文摘Liangtun-Kuangdonggou complex, 30 km southeast of Gaixian Town, Liaoning Province, is composed of aegirine-augite hornblende syenite, aegirine-augite syenite, hornblende syenite, pyroxene syenite and syeno-aegirinolite. Rb-Sr isotopic data to the complex are reported and used for discussion of chronology and geological implication. They show that the complex occurred in early Proterozoic and is a tectonic sign of extension setting.
