| 1 | Dynamic analysis of C/C composite finger seal显示文摘A seal device as an important component of aeroengines has decisive influence on performance, reliability, and working life of aeroengines. With the development of aeroengines,demands on the performance characteristics of seal devices are made strictly. Finger seal as a novel kind of sealing device, recently attracts more and more attentions in academic circles and engineering fields at home and abroad. Research on finger seals has been extensively developed, especially on leakage and wear performances under dynamic conditions. However, it is a pity that the work on finger seals has been limited with a single approach that is improving the performance by structural optimization; in addition, the technology of dynamic analysis on finger seals is weak. Aiming at the problems mentioned above, a distributed mass equivalent dynamic model of finger seals considering the coupling effect of overlaid laminates is established in the present paper, the dynamic performance of 2.5 dimension C/C composite finger seal is analyzed with the model, and then the effects of fiber bundle density and fiber bundle preparation direction on finger seal's dynamic performance are discussed, as well as compared with those of Co-based alloy finger seal. | 2 | Thermoelastohydrodynamic analysis of misaligned bearings with texture on journal surface under high-speed and heavy-load conditions显示文摘Hydrodynamic journal bearings are used to support the planetary gears in the transmission system of a Geared Turbo Fan engine, and they operate under severe working conditions, such as misalignment, high speed, and heavy load. Surface texture is regarded as an effective approach to improve mechanical properties under severe working conditions. However, the effects of surface texture on misaligned journal bearings under severe conditions have not been well studied. Therefore, a thermoelastohydrodynamic(TEHD) lubricating model with a textured and misaligned journal is presented in this study. Solid deformation, heat transfer between oil and the bearing, and heat convection between air and the bearing are considered in the model. The effects of cavitation and viscosity-temperature are also taken into account. The impacts of surface texture parameters and the misalignment angle on lubricating properties are investigated in the model. Results indicate that the bearing lubricating performance is greatly improved by optimal surface texture considering journal misalignment. The maximum oil film pressure and load-carrying capacity of a journal bearing increase with journal misalignment. | 4 | Molecular mechanism underlying the subtype-selectivity of competitive inhibitor NF110 and its distinct potencies in human and rat P2X3 receptors显示文摘P2X receptors are a family of extracellular ATP-gated trimeric cation channels that is widely distributed in human tissues. Quite some drug candidates targeting P2X receptors have entered into preclinical or main phases of clinical trials, but many of them failed due to low subtype-selectivity or species differences in pharmacological activities between human and experimental animals. Here, we identified the distinct inhibitory efficacies of NF110, a competitive inhibitor, between the rat(rP2X3) and human(hP2X3) P2X3 receptors. We demonstrated that this difference is determined by two amino acids located in the dorsal fin(DF) domain of P2X3 receptors. As revealed by mutagenesis, metadynamics, and covalent modification, NF110-mediated rP2X3 inhibition may be through a filling in the cavity formed by the DF,left flipper(LF) and lower body(LB) to partially, rather than fully, occupy the ATP-binding pocket.Moreover, substitution of residues located in the DF and/or LF domains of the rP2X2 receptor, a NF110-insensitive subtype, with the equivalent amino acids of rP2X3, bestowed the sensitivity of rP2X2 to NF110. The critical roles of the DF and LF domains in channel gating of P2X and low conservativity in residue sequences of those two domains raise the possibility that small molecules differentially interacting with the residues of the DF and LF domains of different P2X receptors may modulate channel's activity in a subtype-selective manner. | 8 | Scalable fast benchmarking for individual quantum gates with local twirling显示文摘With the development of controllable quantum systems,fast and practical characterization of multi-qubit gates has become essential for building high-fidelity quantum computing devices.The usual way to fulfill this requirement via randomized benchmarking demands complicated implementation of numerous multi-qubit twirling gates.How to efficiently and reliably estimate the fidelity of a quantum process remains an open problem.This work thus proposes a character-cycle benchmarking protocol and a character-average benchmarking protocol using only local twirling gates to estimate the process fidelity of an individual multi-qubit operation.Our protocols were able to characterize a large class of quantum gates including and beyond the Clifford group via the local gauge transformation,which forms a universal gate set for quantum computing.We demonstrated numerically our protocols for a non-Clifford gate—controlled-(T X)and a Clifford gate—five-qubit quantum errorcorrecting encoding circuit.The numerical results show that our protocols can efficiently and reliably characterize the gate process fidelities.Compared with the cross-entropy benchmarking,the simulation results show that the character-average benchmarking achieves three orders of magnitude improvements in terms of sampling complexity. | YIHONG ZHANG WENJUN YU PEI ZENG GUODING LIU XIONGFENG MA | 2023 | Photonics Research2023,11,1: | 0 |
| 9 | Diagenesis of the Paleogene Sandstones in the DN2 Gas Field,Kuqa Foreland Basin and its Link to Tectonics显示文摘We investigated diagenesis of the sandstones from the DN2 Gas Field of the Kuqa Foreland Basin(KFB),in order to infer the timing of fluid migration and discuss the linkage between fluids and tectonics.The textures and chemical composition of authigenic minerals,fluid evidence from fluid inclusions and formation water measurements were all used to fulfill this aim.Eodiagenesis occurred with the participation of meteoric water and connate water.Mesodiagenesis is related to high salinity fluids,which were attributed as originating from the overlying Neogene Jidike Formation evaporite(principal minerals including halite,anhydrite,glauberite,carnallite and thenardite).The onset of high salinity fluid migration is inferred to occur during the late Miocene(12.4-9.2 Ma)through the use of homogenization temperatures measured in the present study and K-Ar dating of authigenetic illites from previous work.This period is consistent with the crucial phase(13-10 Ma)that witnessed the rapid uplift of the southern Tianshan Mts and the stage when calcite and anhydrite veins formed in the studied strata.We thus argue that diagenesis related to high salinity fluids occurred as a response to the Tianshan Mts'rapid uplift and related tectonic processes.The flow of high salinity fluids was probably driven by a density gradient and channeled and focused by fractures formed contemporaneously. | YU Guoding YUAN Jing LIU Keyu YANG Xianzhang DONG Daotao MA Pengjie HUANG Chiqiang | 2023 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,5: | 0 |
