| 1 | High-Sensitivity Gas Detection with Air-Lasing-Assisted Coherent Raman Spectroscopy显示文摘Remote or standoff detection of greenhouse gases,air pollutants,and biological agents with innovative ultrafast laser technology attracts growing interests in recent years.Hybrid femtosecond/picosecond coherent Raman spectroscopy is considered as one of the most versatile techniques due to its great advantages in terms of detection sensitivity and chemical specificity.However,the simultaneous requirement for the femtosecond pump and the picosecond probe increases the complexity of optical system.Herein,we demonstrate that air lasing naturally created inside a filament can serve as an ideal light source to probe Raman coherence excited by the femtosecond pump,producing coherent Raman signal with molecular vibrational signatures.The combination of pulse self-compression effect and air lasing action during filamentation improves Raman excitation efficiency and greatly simplifies the experimental setup.The air-lasing-assisted Raman spectroscopy was applied to quantitatively detect greenhouse gases mixed in air,and it was found that the minimum detectable concentrations of CO_(2) and SF_(6) can reach 0.1%and 0.03%,respectively.The ingenious designs,especially the optimization of pump-seed delay and the choice of perpendicular polarization,ensure a high detection sensitivity and signal stability.Moreover,it is demonstrated that this method can be used for simultaneously measuring CO_(2) and SF_(6) gases and distinguishing ^(12)CO_(2) and ^(13)CO_(2).The developed scheme provides a new route for high-sensitivity standoff detection and combustion diagnosis. | Zhihao Zhang Fangbo Zhang Bo Xu Hongqiang Xie Botao Fu Xu Lu Ning Zhang Shupeng Yu Jinping Yao Ya Cheng Zhizhan Xu | 2022 | Ultrafast Science2022,,2: | 4 |
| 2 | Construction of Z-Scheme In_(2)S_(3)-TiO_(2) for CO_(2) Reduction under Concentrated Natural Sunlight显示文摘Producing chemical fuels from sunlight enables a sustainable way for energy consumption.Among various solar fuel generation approaches,photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction has the advantages of simple structure,mild reaction condition,directly reducing carbon emissions,etc.However,most of the current photocatalytic systems can only absorb the UV-visible spectrum of solar light.Therefore,finding a way to utilize infrared light in the photocatalytic system has attracted more and more attention.Here,a Z-scheme In_(2)S_(3)-TiO_(2) was constructed for CO_(2) reduction under concentrated natural sunlight.The infrared light was used to create a high-temperature environment for photocatalytic reactions.The evolution rates of H2,CO,and C2H5OH reached 262.2,73.9,and 27.56μmol・h^(-1)・g^(-1),respectively,with an overall solar to fuels efficiency of 0.002%.This work provides a composite photocatalyst towards the utilization of full solar light spectrum,and could promote the research on photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction. | Ya Liu Fangbo Yu Feng Wang Shengjie Bai Guiwei He | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Structural Chemistry2022,41,1: | 2 |

| 5 | Biomechanical finite element analysis of typical tibiotalar arthrodesis显示文摘Tibiotalar arthrodesis(TTA)is a common surgical method for post-traumatic arthrosis and primary osteoarthrosis of ankle.Internal screw fixation exhibits such advantages of higher fusion rate and fewer complications that it has become the mainstream surgical procedure in clinics.However,there are still disputes over the choice of screw type,number and nailing method.In this study,a 3D model of tibiotalar joint was established based on CT data.Two representative types of screws were modeled according to their real objects.Preprocessing was done in Hypermesh 2017,and the finite element simulations of different surgical schemes and postoperative ankle joint movements were performed via Abaqus 2016.The stress distribution in tibiotalar joints and screws,interarticular displacement,and screw deformation were extracted for comparative analyses.The results show that:(1)the three-screw fixation scheme with smaller displacements and higher contact pressure is superior to the two-screw one;(2)the relative displacements of the tibia and talus of full-thread screw under all loads were reduced by approximately 50%compared with those of lag screw,showing better stability;(3)the 60scheme is more favorable for joint fusion and more stable under vertical load,while the 75has the best bending resistance;(4)the stress and strain distributions in screws indicate that the screw break is most likely to happen near its contact region with the bone inlet,the maximum stress reaches 212.2 MPa.This study is of great significance for the selection and optimization of the surgical plan. | Fangbo Bing Chi Wei Pan Liu Zhenzi Li Yu Deng Zuoqi Zhang Shaobo Zhu | 2021 | Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2021,,3: | 0 |
| 6 | Accumulation Characteristics of Protein and Non-Protein Components and Their Correlations with Protein Concentration in Rice Grains显示文摘Protein in rice grains is an important source of nutrition for rice consumers.This study mainly aimed to identify the critical factors that determine grain protein concentration in rice.Accumulation parameters,including mean accumulation rate(Rmean)and active accumulation duration(Dactive),for protein and non-protein components and their correlations with protein concentration in rice grains were investigated in field experiments conducted over two years with six rice cultivars.Results showed that grain protein concentration ranged from 9.6%to 11.9%across cultivars and years.Accumulation processes of protein and non-protein components were well fitted by the logistic equation for all six rice cultivars in both years,and the ratio of protein to non-protein for R_(mean) and D_(active) ranged from 0.08 to 0.12 and 1.01 to 1.33,respectively.Grain protein concentration was significantly correlated with protein to non-protein ratio for R_(mean).This study suggests that grain protein concentration is not solely determined by the accumulation of protein or non-protein component,but by the coordination of protein and non-protein accumulation. | Xiaoli Zhang Xiaohong Yin Jiana Chen Fangbo Cao Yu Liu Zhengwu Xiao Liqin Hu Guanghui Chen Tianfeng Liang Min Huang | 2021 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2021,90,4: | 0 |
| 7 | Heating of multi-species upflowing ion beams observed by Cluster on March 28, 2001显示文摘Cluster satellites observed three successive outflowing ion beams on 28 March, 2001. It is generally accepted that these ion beams, composed of H^+, He^+, and O^+ ions, with three inverted-V structures in their energy spectra, are produced by acceleration through U-shaped potential structures. By eliminating the background ion population and employing Maxwelling fitting, we find that ions coming from the center of the potential structure have higher temperature than those from the flanks. Higher temperature of O^+ and He+compared to that of H^+ indicates that heavy ions are preferentially heated; we further infer that the heating efficiencies of O^+ and He^+ ions differ between the center and edges of the U-shaped potential structures.
