| 1 | 丛枝霸王(Zygophyllum dumosum)根际AM真菌生态学研究(英文)显示文摘AM真菌是一类广泛分布的土壤真菌 ,与宿主植物形成共生结构后 ,对于植物生长和植被恢复有多种有益的生理学和生态学作用。 1 999年 1 1月至 2 0 0 0年 1 0月 ,通过每月分别从 0~ 1 0 cm和 1 0~ 2 0 cm土层采集根际土样 ,对以色列荒漠地区丛枝霸王 (Zygophyllumdumosum Boiss)根际 AM真菌进行了系统的生态学研究。AM真菌的分布和定殖与季节变化和采样深度密切相关。菌根真菌的最高定殖率并不伴随有最大的孢子密度 ,最高的定殖率发生在 1 999年 1 1月 ,而最大的孢子密度则出现在 2 0 0 0年 9月。 1 0~ 2 0 cm土层中的菌根真菌定殖率和孢子密度明显高于 0~ 1 0 cm土层。土壤湿度与所有菌根结构的定殖率呈正相关 ,土壤有机质含量与泡囊和丛枝定殖率呈正相关 ,而土壤总可溶性氮对泡囊和丛枝定殖有显著正效应 ,对孢子密度有显著负效应。结果建议 ,孢子密度、泡囊和丛枝定殖程度可作为检测荒漠土壤状况的生态指标。研究应用于我国特别是西部荒漠地区的植被建立和恢复 ,可望发挥重要作用 :(1 ) AM真菌能与绝大多数高等植物根系形成共生联合体 ,促进根系对土壤矿质营养和水分的吸收 ,提高植物对干旱、高温、盐碱、根部病害等的抗性 ,提高逆境条件下植物的成活率 ,深入研究荒漠生态系统中 AM真菌动态分布 ,以? | 贺学礼 YOSEF Steinberger | 2001 | 西北植物学报2001,21,6: | 17 |
| 2 | Genetic Variation and Yield Performance of Jerusalem Artichoke Germplasm Collected in China显示文摘Jerusalem artichoke (Helianthus tuberosus L.) is a perennial tuberous plant rich in inulin and is a potential energy crop.This study was conducted in a semiarid region of the Loess Plateau to investigate variations in morphological and agronomic characteristics and yield performance of 59 Jerusalem artichoke clones collected from 24 provinces in China.The germplasm we collected exhibited variations either in qualitative or in quantitative traits.Substantial genetic variations (genotype coefficient of variation >20%) in the main stem diameter,main stem number per plant,branch number per main stem,tuber number per plant,tuber size,tuber yield,and top yield (i.e.,aboveground biomass) were found as well.Seven clones had a tuber yield ranging between 9.1-10.6 t ha-1,7 clones had a top yield ranging between 18.1-31.3 t ha-1,and 15 clones had a total biomass yield (i.e.,tuber and top weight) between 25.0-35.0 t ha-1 on an oven-dried weight basis under the drought soil and climatic condition in the semiarid region.The 59 Jerusalem artichoke clones were clustered into 8 groups based on 17 quantitative traits,and indicated that the most prevalent clones planted by farmers exhibited relatively low variation.Correlation analysis was conducted on the morphology and agronomy of the clones.This investigation suggests possible genetic improvement of Jerusalem artichoke for a higher tuber yield or a top biomass yield,and as a promising application for inulin or bioenergy in semiarid regions. | LIU Zu-xin BAN Li-pu Yosef Steinberger XIE Guang-hui | 2011 | Agricultural Sciences in China2011,10,5: | 14 |

| 6 | Negative regulation of receptor tyrosine kinases: unexpected links to c-Cbl and receptorubiquitylation显示文摘Intracellular signals mediated by the family of receptor tyrosine kinases play pivotal roles in morphogenesis, cell fate determination and pathogenesis. Precise control of signal amplitude and duration is critical for the fidelity and robustness of these processes. Activation of receptor tyrosine kinases by their cognate growth factors not only leads to propagation of the signal through various biochemical cascades, but also sets in motion multiple attenuation mechanisms that ulti- mately terminate the active state. Early attenuators pre-exist prior to receptor activation and they act to limit signal propagation. Subsequently, late attenuators, such as Lrig and Sprouty, are transcriptionally induced and further act to dampen the signal. Central to the process of signaling attenuation is the role of the E3 ubiquitin ligase c-Cbl. While Cbl- mediated processes of receptor ubiquitylation and endocytosis are relatively well understood, the links of Cbl to other negative regulators are just now beginning to be appreciated. | 8 | Ground-active arthropod responses to rainfall-induced dune microhabitats in a desertified steppe ecosystem,China显示文摘Different microhabitats along dune slope were found to affect the distribution of plant performances and soil properties in desertified ecosystems.However,the ground-active arthropod responses to rainfall-induced dune microhabitats were largely unknown in desertified regions.At dune top,midslope and bottom,ground-active arthropods were sampled by the method of pitfall traps in addition to the herbaceous and soil measurements during spring,summer and autumn from 2012 to 2013.Ground-active arthropod had a strong dynamics in time,seasonally and yearly in responses to rainfall-induced dune microhabitats and the variations were significant higher than those of soil and herbaceous properties.The abundance distribution of dominant taxa(i.e.Melolonthidae,Carabidae,Glaphyridae,Tenebrionidae and Formicidae families)among dune microhabitats was similar between seasons within the same year,whereas they differed markedly between two sampling years with varying rainfall patterns.A significant(P<0.05)difference in total abundance,taxa richness and Shannon index among dune microhabitats was found only in certain season time,particularly in 2013;however,no significant(P>0.05)differences were found among dune microhabitats when averaged on three sampling seasons within the year of either 2012 or 2013.In all,the taxonomical structure differed considerably from the community structure in ground-active arthropod response to rainfall-induced dune microhabitats.The spatial distribution of taxonomical groups among dune microhabitats was significantly affected by inter-annual rainfall changes,whereas that of community structure was affected by both intra-and inter-annual rainfall changes in desertified ecosystems. | LIU Rentao ZHU Fan Yosef STEINBERGER | 2016 | Journal of Arid Land2016,8,4: | 2 |

| 10 | Spatiotemporal Variations of Soil Microarthropod Communities in the Negev Desert显示文摘Desert ecosystems are characterized by sparse vegetation that affects both abiotic parameters and soil biota along the soil profile.This study was conducted in 2010–2011 in a loess plain in the northern Negev Desert highlands, Israel, to test two main hypotheses:1) the abundance and diversity of microarthropods would vary seasonally in the top 30-cm soil layer, but would be relatively stable at soil depths between 30 and 50 cm and 2) soil microarthropods would be more abundant in soils under shrubs with large litter accumulations than under shrubs with less litter or bare soil. Soil samples were collected each season from the 0–50 cm profile at10-cm intervals under the canopies of Hammada scoparia and Zygophyllum dumosum and from the bare interspaces between them.Soil moisture and soil organic carbon in the top 30-cm layers varied seasonally, but there was little variation in the soil layers deeper than 30 cm. Soil mites were most abundant in the top 30-cm soil layer in autumn and winter, with the highest number of families found in winter. There were no differences in soil microarthropod abundance attributable to the presence or absence of shrubs of either species. The microarthropod communities of the microhabitats studied consisted of Acari, Psocoptera, and Collembola. The Acari were mostly identified to the family level and were dominated by Oribatida(55%) and Prostigmata(41%) in all seasons and microhabitats, while the psocopterans were most abundant in summer. These results are opposite to those obtained in other studies in similar xeric environments.
