| 1 | Seismic response of rocking isolated railway bridge piers with sacrificial components显示文摘In this study, sacrificial components were incorporated into self-centering railway bridge piers to improve the lateral stiffness. The seismic response of this new detail was investigated. First, the method to compute the initial uplift moment of the self-centering pier is given. In addition, shaking table tests were conducted on a free-rocking pier without sacrificial components, which was used to validate a two-spring numerical model. Good agreement was obtained between the numerical results and experimental data. Furthermore, the validated model was employed to investigate the influence of sacrificial components on the seismic response of rocking piers. For this purpose, two models were developed, with and without sacrificial components. Nonlinear response history analysis was then performed on both models under three historical motions. The results showed that compared to the one without sacrificial components, the rocking pier with sacrificial components has comparable displacement at the top of the pier, and maximum uplift moment at high amplitude motion. Therefore, incorporating sacrificial components into the rocking pier can increase the lateral stiffness at service load and low amplitude frequent earthquakes but can produce comparable response at high seismic excitation. | 9 | 外照射配合肝动脉栓塞治疗不能手术切除的原发性肝癌的临床研究(英文)显示文摘Objective: This study evaluated the therapeutic effect of external beam radiotherapy (RT) combined with trans- catheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) on the patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Methods: From June 1994 to April 2002, 114 patients with unresectable HCC were nonrandomized prospectively stepped into our study. All patients received TACE as initial therapy, except 54 also received combination therapy with external beam therapy. Sur- vival failure patterns were analyzed and compared between the two groups. Results: Overall survival rates in the patients in the radiotherapy group were 65%, 47%, 38% at 1, 2, 3 years, respectively, improved over the non-radiotherapy group rates of 54%, 36.5%, 18% at 1, 2, 3 years, respectively. There was significant difference between two groups (P < 0.05). The survival rates correlated with tumor size, number of tumors, and portal vein embolus. | 12 | Boron separation by adsorption and flotation with Mg-Al-LDHs and SDBS from aqueous solution显示文摘Layered double hydroxides(LDHs)have been shown to be effective adsorbents for boron.However,solid-liquid separation is still a problem when separating boron from industrial radioactive waste liquid.In this research,three types of Mg-Al-LDHs including Mg-Al-LDH(NO_(3)^(-)),Mg-Al-LDH(Cl^(-))and Mg-Al-LDH(SO_(4)^(2-))were applied to adsorb boron,and moreover sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate(SDBS)was used to float the LDH particles from aqueous solution after boron adsorption.The results showed that 60 min was sufficient for the equilibrium adsorption of the three LDHs.The boron adsorption capacity of three LDHs was determined as follows:Mg-Al-LDH(NO_(3)^(-))>Mg-Al-LDH(Cl^(-))>Mg-Al-LDH(SO_(4)^(2-)),and was 2.0,0.98 and 0.2 mmol·g^(-1),each ranging from 0 to 80 mmol·L^(-1)with the initial boron concentration.The efficiency of boron removal by Mg-Al-LDH(NO_(3)^(-))and SDBS can reach up to 89.7%.Furthermore,the boron flotation mechanism of SDBS and LDHs has been studied,since SDBS as a flotation agent can react with LDHs and penetrate into the interlayer of LDHs in addition to electrostatic attraction.Therefore,LDHs in solution can be floated onto the foam layer to be separated from the solution,and the clarified solution was obtained.The method is simple and promising for boron removal from aqueous solution. | Chun Bai Huifang Zhang Qinglong Luo Xiushen Ye Haining Liu Quan Li Jun Li Zhijian Wu | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,61,9: | 0 |
