1Multiple Time Scale Analysis of River Runoff Using Wavelet Transform for Dagujia River Basin, Yantai, China显示文摘Based on monthly river runoff and meteorological data, a method of Morlet wavelet transform was used to analyze the multiple time scale characteristics of river runoff in the Dagujia River Basin, Yantai City, Shandong Prov- ince. The results showed that the total annual river runoff in the Dagujia River Basin decreased significantly from 1966 to 2004, and the rate of decrease was 48×106m3/10yr, which was higher than the mean value of most rivers in China. Multiple time scale characteristics existed, which accounted for different aspects of the changes in annual river runoff, and the major periods of the runoff time series were identified as about 28 years, 14 years and 4 years with decreasing levels of fluctuation. The river runoff evolution process was controlled by changes in precipitation to a certain extent, but it was also greatly influenced by human activities. Also, for different time periods and scales, the impacts of cli- mate changes and human activities on annual river runoff evolution occurred at the same time. 2Maximal capacity nonorthogonal pulse shape modulation显示文摘To improve spectral utilization of communication system, a novel nonorthogonal pulse shape modulation(NPSM) based on prolate spheroidal wave function(PSWF) is proposed. The modulation employs nonorthogonal PSWF pulses to transmit information and it shows a higher capacity than traditional orthogonal modulations. The NPSM capacity under the constraint of finite input alphabet, which is determined by parameters of PSWF pulse, is derived. An optimization model for maximal capacity of NPSM is constructed and an exhaustive self-adapting gradient search algorithm for the model is proposed. A practical NPSM scheme with the maximal capacity is obtained by this search algorithm and it is proved to be superior to orthogonal signaling in the capacity. Our theoretical analysis is validated by numerical simulations and practical tests, and the results show that NPSM outperforms orthogonal modulations in the capacity and has a lower Peak-to-Average Power Ratio.Chen Zhaonan Wang Hongxing Liu Xiguo Zhong Peilin 2015Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2015,28,6:8

4The significance of combined detection of P-selectin, TM and vWF in early prediction of severe acute pancreatitis显示文摘Objective To investigate the value of P-selectin, thrombomodulin(TM)and von Willebrand factor(vWF)in identifying severe acute pancreatitis(SAP)at an early stage of the disease.Methods 80 patients with acute pancreatitis(25 mild, 30 moderate and 25 severe)were selected in this study when they were admitted within 24 hours of the onset of symptoms. 20 healthy volunteers were collected as the healthy control. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to determine the levels of vascular endothelial cell damage markers(P-selectin, TM and vWF)in SAP patients and the control group.Results The levels of 3 markers were significantly higher in SAP patients than in the mild and moderate acute pancreatitis patients and healthy volunteers(P<0.05). P-selectin, TM and vWF were independent markers for the development of SAP and had higher discriminative powers than conventional marker tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α)(P<0.05). They were similar to the APACHE-Ⅱ scoring system in distinguishing SAP at an early stage.Conclusions P-selectin, TM and vWF are independent markers to identify the development of SAP at an early stage. 13Novel Method of Mining Classification Information for SVM Training显示文摘Support vector machine(SVM) is an important classification tool in the pattern recognition and machine learning community,but its training is a time-consuming process.To deal with this problem,we propose a novel method to mine the useful information about classification hidden in the training sample for improving the training algorithm,and every training point is assigned to a value that represents the classification information,respectively,where training points with the higher values are chosen as candidate support vectors for SVM training.The classification information value for a training point is computed based on the classification accuracy of an appropriate hyperplane for the training sample,where the hyperplane goes through the mapped target of the training point in feature space defined by a kernel function.Experimental results on various benchmark datasets show the effectiveness of our algorithm.SHEN Fengshan ZHANG Junying YUAN Xiguo 2011Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2011,16,6:1
14Effect of microbial fermentation on the sensory characteristics and chemical compositions of Chinese sweet tea(Lithocarpus litseifolius(Hance)Chun)显示文摘Sweet tea,which has hundreds of years of use among in Chinese folk,is a traditional herbal tea with pleasant sweetness,bitterness and astringency.In the current study,we used traditional microbial fermentation to improve sensory characteristics of sweet tea,especially for the reduction of bitterness and astringency.The dynamic changes of non-volatile,volatile compounds and microbial community were investigated during microbial fermentation.The contents of polyphenols,flavonoids,soluble sugar,soluble protein,catechins and dihydrochalcones decreased significantly while the tea pigments,free amino acids and gallic acid content inversely increased during microbial fermentation.A total of 61 volatile compounds were identified and quantified in sweet tea,of which 20 key compounds were identified as odor active compounds(OAV),including 3 aldehydes,1 ketone,4 alcohols,9 esters,4 alkenes and 3 other compounds.In addition,eight fungi and four bacteria were considered as core microorganisms,such as Aspergillus,Alternaria,Cladosporium,Epicoccum,Itersonilia,Penicillium,Periconia,Wallemia,Aureimonas,Enterobacter,Klebsiella and Stenotrophomonas,which were significantly correlated with non-volatile compounds and flavor compounds.These results provided theoretical guidance for processing of fermented sweet tea.Weimin Huang Changyi Zhang Zepeng Gu Cheng Li Zhengfeng Fang Zhen Zeng Zhiqing Zhang Bin Hu Hong Chen Wenjuan Wu Tiqiang Wang Xiguo Lan Yuntao Liu 2022Food Bioscience2022,46,2:1
15A new probability distribution model of turbulent irradiance based on Born perturbation theory显示文摘The subject of the PDF (Probability Density Function) of the irradiance fluctuations in a turbulent atmosphere is still unsettled.Theory reliably describes the behavior in the weak turbulence regime,but theoretical description in the strong and whole turbulence regimes are still controversial.Based on Born perturbation theory,the physical manifestations and correlations of three typical PDF models (Rice-Nakagami,exponential-Bessel and negative-exponential distribution) were theoretically analyzed.It is shown that these models can be derived by separately making circular-Gaussian,strong-turbulence and strong-turbulence-circular-Gaussian approximations in Born perturbation theory,which denies the viewpoint that the Rice-Nakagami model is only applicable in the extremely weak turbulence regime and provides theoretical arguments for choosing rational models in practical applications.In addition,a common shortcoming of the three models is that they are all approximations.A new model,called the Maclaurin-spread distribution,is proposed without any approximation except for assuming the correlation coefficient to be zero.So,it is considered that the new model can exactly reflect the Born perturbation theory.Simulated results prove the accuracy of this new model.WANG HongXing,LIU Min*,HU Hao,WANG Qian & LIU XiGuo Navy Aeronautical Engineering University,Yantai 264001,China 2010Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,10:1
