| 1 | Metal-Organic Frameworks-Based Fluorescent Nanocomposites for Bioimaging in Living Cells and in vivo显示文摘Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)as a class of porous functional materials have attracted more and more attention for biomedical applications.To date,MOFs have been developed for bioimaging based on a series of advantages such as the large surface areas,high porosity,fluorescence functionalities and good biocompatibility.It is worth noting that organic or inorganic fluorescent materials such as fluorescent dyes,quantum dots,metal nanoclusters and nanosheets can combine MOFs or be encapsulated in MOFs to form fluorescent nanocomposites for excellent imaging function.Importantly,excellent imaging capabilities are of great significance in living cells and in vivo for detection,diagnosis and cancer therapy.In this review,we focus on the recent research of the bioimaging in living cells and in vivo based on various MOF-based nanocomposites and their potential biological clinical applications. | Meijia Liu Xiangling Ren Xianwei Meng Hongbo Li | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,2: | 8 |

| 3 | Optical detection of acetylcholine esterase based on CdTe quantum dots显示文摘In this study, we have constructed a simple, sensitive and rapid biosensor for detection of acetylcholine esterase (AChE) based on CdTe quantum dots (QDs). The detection limit of AChE by one-step enzyme reaction based on the thiolglycolic acid (TGA) stabilized QDs (TGA-QDs) was 10 U/L and the linear range was 10-100 and 100-1200 U/L, respectively. The detection limit of AChE by two-step enzyme reaction based on the 3-mercaptopropionic acid (MGA) stabilized QDs (MGA-QDs) was found to be 20 U/L and the linear range was 100-2500 U/L. The experimental conditions of biosensors were optimized, and the detection mechanism was studied. We also detected AChE in serum samples based on TGA-QDs or MGA-QDs. The linear range was 10-140 and 50-1000 U/L, respectively. | 4 | Sensitive detection of dopamine and quinone drugs based on the quenching of the fluorescence of carbon dots显示文摘In this work,we demonstrated that the quinone structure can quench the fluorescence of the carbon dots(CDs).The sensitive determination of dopamine(DA) was studied primarily based on this principle.DA would be transformed into DA quinone under alkaline conditions,which resulted in fluorescence quenching of the CDs.A good linear range from 5 nmol/L to 0.4 mmol/L was obtained and the detection limit was 1 nmol/L.Moreover,the quenching effect of quinone structure on the fluorescence of CDs was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectra,time-correlated single-photon counting and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.Remarkably,CDs were firstly applied to detect the quinone drugs quantitatively which contained typical quinone structure based on the quenching mechanism.More than this,the sensing platform was demonstrated to provide credible selectivity and satisfactory stability in human serum solution with good liner range.Hence,our practical application and mechanism have showed great potential for diagnostic purposes. | Xiangling Ren Jiejie Ge Xianwei Meng Xiaozhong Qiu Jun Ren Fangqiong Tang | 2016 | Science Bulletin2016,61,20: | 3 |

| 6 | Superoxide dismutase mimetic ability of Mn-doped ZnS QDs显示文摘Superoxide dismutase(SOD) is an important antioxidant enzyme in the body. SOD has special physiological activity and is the primary substance for scavenging free radicals in living organisms.However, the expensive and complex extraction processes, low SOD yield, as well as difficult to store at room temperature have seriously hindered its application pace. Herein, the enzyme mimetic function of Mn-doped ZnS quantum dots(QDs) was discovered. The improved Marklund and McCord method both showed that Mn-doped ZnS QDs possess intrinsic SOD-like activity. | 7 | Construction and characterization of a full-length infectious clone of Getah virus in vivo显示文摘Getah virus(GETV)is a mosquito-borne virus of the genus Alphavirus in the family Togaviridae and,in recent years,it has caused several outbreaks in animals.The molecular basis for GETV pathogenicity is not well understood.Therefore,a reverse genetic system of GETV is needed to produce genetically modified viruses for the study of the viral replication and its pathogenic mechanism.Here,we generated a CMV-driven infectious cDNA clone based on a previously isolated GETV strain,GX201808(pGETV-GX).Transfection of pGETV-GX into BHK-21 cells resulted in the recovery of a recombinant virus(rGETV-GX)which showed similar growth characteristics to its parental virus.Then three-day-old mice were experimentally infected with either the parental or recombinant virus.The recombinant virus showed milder pathogenicity than the parental virus in the mice.Based on the established CMV-driven cDNA clone,subgenomic promoter and two restriction enzyme sites(BamHI and EcoRI)were introduced into the region between E1 protein and 3’UTR.Then the green fluorescent protein(GFP),red fluorescent protein(RFP)and improved light-oxygen-voltage(iLOV)genes were inserted into the restriction enzyme sites.Transfection of the constructs carrying the reporter genes into BHK-21 cells proved the rescue of the recombinant reporter viruses.Taken together,the establishment of a reverse genetic system for GETV provides a valuable tool for the study of the virus life cycle,and to aid the development of genetically engineered GETVs as vectors for foreign gene expression. | Tongwei Ren Xiangling Min Qingrong Mo Yuxu Wang Hao Wang Ying Chen Kang Ouyang Weijian Huang Zuzhang Wei | 2022 | Virologica Sinica2022,37,3: | 2 |

| 9 | Enhanced antibacterial activity of silica nanorattles with ZnO combination nanoparticles against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus显示文摘Silica nanorattles(SNs) with zinc oxide(ZnO) combination nanoparticles are reported to inhibit methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA) for the first time. SNs loaded with ZnO nanoparticles,which can produce free radicals, can cause severe damage to bacteria. ZnO nanoparticles not only provide free radicals in the combined nanostructures, which can inhibit the growth of bacteria, but also form nanorough surfaces with an irregular distribution of spikes on the SNs, which can enhance their adhesion to bacteria. Nanorough silica shell surfaces maintain the high activity and stability of small-sized ZnO nanoparticles and gather ZnO nanoparticles together to enhance production, which improves the efficiency of free radicals against the cytomembranes of bacterial cells. The enhanced adhesion of ZnO@SN nanoparticles to MRSA cells shortens the effective touching distance between free radicals and MRSA, which also improves antibacterial activity. As we expected, the ZnO@SN nanoparticles exhibit a better antibacterial effect than free ZnO nanoparticles against MRSA in vitro and in vivo. We also demonstrate that SNs loaded with ZnO nanoparticles can accelerate wound healing in MRSA skin inflammation models. | 19 | Zirconium metal-organic framework nanocrystal as microwave sensitizer for enhancement of tumor therapy显示文摘Although surgical resection and chemotherapy were widely applied in tumor therapy, the dysfunction of normal cells resulted in the side effects (such as anorexia, nausea). MW thermal therapy is a non-invasive anticancer strategy under the help of MW sensitizer, with the safety and higher efficacy. Zirconium metal-organic framework nanocubes (ZrMOF NCs) modified with polyethylene glycol, were prepared via one pot method and carbodiimide technique, resulting in their large specific surface area and porosity.Our results showed that non-ion-loaded ZrMOF NCs in 0.9% NaCl solution exhibited better heating effect,higher than that in pure water, due to the robust collision among the ions under MW irradiation. The in vivo experiments confirmed that ZrMOF-PEG NCs + MW group exhibited the higher temperature in the tumor region than that of only MW treatment, suggesting a better MW thermal therapeutic anticancer efficacy.
