| 1 | Cyber-physical-social System in Intelligent Transportation显示文摘A cyber-physical system(CPS) is composed of a physical system and its corresponding cyber systems that are tightly fused at all scales and levels.CPS is helpful to improve the controllability, efficiency and reliability of a physical system, such as vehicle collision avoidance and zero-net energy buildings systems. It has become a hot R&D and practical area from US to EU and other countries. In fact, most of physical systems and their cyber systems are designed, built and used by human beings in the social and natural environments. So,social systems must be of the same importance as their CPSs.The indivisible cyber, physical and social parts constitute the cyber-physical-social system(CPSS),a typical complex system and it’s a challengeable problem to control and manage it under traditional theories and methods. An artificial systems, computational experiments and parallel execution(ACP) methodology is introduced based on which data-driven models are applied to social system.Artificial systems,i.e.,cyber systems, are applied for the equivalent description of physical-social system(PSS).Computational experiments are applied for control plan validation. And parallel execution finally realizes the stepwise control and management of CPSS.Finally,a CPSS-based intelligent transportation system(ITS) is discussed as a case study, and its architecture, three parts, and application are described in detail. | Gang Xiong Fenghua Zhu Xiwei Liu Xisong Dong Wuling Huang Songhang Chen Kai Zhao | 2015 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2015,2,3: | 8 |
| 2 | Expression of phenylalanine ammonia lyase as an intracellularly free and extracellularly cell surface-immobilized enzyme on a gut microbe as a live biotherapeutic for phenylketonuria显示文摘Phenylketonuria(PKU),a disease resulting in the disability to degrade phenylalanine(Phe)is an inborn error with a 1 in 10,000 morbidity rate on average around the world which leads to neurotoxicity. As an potential alternative to a protein-restricted diet, oral intake of engineered probiotics degrading Phe inside the body is a promising treatment, currently at clinical stage II(Isabella,et al.,2018).However,limited transmembrane transport of Phe is a bottleneck to further improvement of the probiotic’s activity. Here,we achieved simultaneous degradation of Phe both intracellularly and extracellularly by expressing genes encoding the Phe-metabolizing enzyme phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL)as an intracellularly free and a cell surface-immobilized enzyme in Escherichia coli Nissle 1917(EcN)which overcomes the transportation problem. The metabolic engineering strategy was also combined with strengthening of Phe transportation, transportation of PAL-catalyzed trans-cinnamic acid and fixation of released ammonia.Administration of our final synthetic strain TYS8500 with PAL both displayed on the cell surface and expressed inside the cell to the Pah^(F263S)PKU mouse model reduced blood Phe concentration by 44.4%compared to the control Ec N,independent of dietary protein intake.TYS8500 shows great potential in future applications for PKU therapy. | Yu Jiang Bingbing Sun Fenghui Qian Feng Dong Chongmao Xu Wuling Zhong Rui Huang Qiwei Zhai Yu Jiang Sheng Yang | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,1: | 1 |

| 4 | Types and microstructures of pores in shales of the Ordovician Wulalike Formation at the western margin of the Ordos Basin, China显示文摘Shale samples from the Ordovician Wulalike Formation at the western margin of the Ordos Basin are studied to define the types, microstructures and connectivity of pores as well as the relationships between the pore structures and gas content of the samples by using experimental techniques such as high-resolution field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), mercury injection capillary pressure (MICP), low-temperature nitrogen adsorption (LTNA), CO_(2) adsorption, and focused ion beam scanning electron microscopy (FIB-SEM). The results show that the shale has 10 different lithofacies, typical mixed sedimentary characteristics, and poorly developed pores. The reservoir space mainly consists of intercrystalline pores, dissolution pores, intergranular pores, and micro-fissures, with organic pores occasionally visible. The pore size is mostly within 0.4–250 nm range but dominated by micropores and mesopores less than 20 nm, with pore numbers peaking at pore sizes of 0.5 nm, 0.6 nm, 0.82 nm, 3 nm, and 10 nm, respectively. The pores are poorly connected and macropores are rarely seen, which may explain the low porosity and low permeability of the samples. Samples with high content of organic matter and felsic minerals are potential reservoirs for oil and gas with their favorable physical properties and high connectivity. The pores less than 5 nm contribute significantly to the specific surface area and serve as important storage space for adsorbed gas. | Wuling Mo Min Wang Fangwen Chen Zhengliang Huang Ying Li Yu Yan Ren Jiang Tong Lin Junfeng Cui | 2023 | Energy Geoscience2023,4,3: | 0 |
