1Robust cooperative spectrum sensing schemes for fading channels in cognitive radio networks显示文摘In cognitive radio systems, cooperative spectrum sensing can detect the presence of the primary user accurately. In practice, however, since the sensing observations are forwarded to a data collector through fading channels, the sensing performance is severely degraded. To deal with this problem, in this paper, we first propose a secondary user selection based cooperative spectrum sensing method to improve sensing performance by decreasing the reporting errors introduced by the fading channels. More specifically, only the secondary users with better signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for reporting channels are allowed to send their local binary decisions (0 or 1) to the data collector while the others will send nothing. Additionally, we further propose a diversity based cooperative spectrum sensing method which applies existing space-time coding. By exploiting space diversity in CR network, the reporting errors introduced by the fading channel can be decreased and then the sensing performance is improved significantly. For either proposed cooperative spectrum sensing method, the sensing performance is derived and the analytical performance results are given. 2Pristine PN junction toward atomic layer devices显示文摘In semiconductor manufacturing,PN junction is formed by introducing dopants to activate neighboring electron and hole conductance.To avoid structural distortion and failure,it generally requires the foreign dopants localize in the designated micro-areas.This,however,is challenging due to an inevitable interdiffusion process.Here we report a brand-new junction architecture,called'layer PN junction',that might break through such limit and help redefine the semiconductor device architecture.Different from all existing semiconductors,we find that a variety of van der Waals materials are doping themselves from n-to p-type conductance with an increasing/decreasing layer-number.It means the capability of constructing homogeneous PN junctions in monolayers'dimension/precision,with record high rectification-ratio(>10^(5))and low cut-off current(<1 pA).More importantly,it spawns intriguing functionalities,like gate-switchable-rectification and noise-signal decoupled avalanching.Findings disclosed here might open up a path to develop novel nanodevice applications,where the geometrical size becomes the only critical factor in tuning charge-carrier distribution and thus functionality.Hui Xia Man Luo Wenjing Wang Hailu Wang Tianxin Li Zhen Wang Hangyu Xu Yue Chen Yong Zhou Fang Wang Runzhang Xie Peng Wang Weida Hu Wei Lu 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,7:4
3Effect of surface stress and surface-induced stress on behavior of piezoelectric nanobeam显示文摘A new continuum model is developed to study the influence of surface stress on the behaviors of piezoelectric nanobeams. Different from existing piezoelectric surface models which only consider the surface properties, the proposed model takes surfaceinduced initial fields into consideration. Due to the fact that the surface-induced initial fields are totally different under various boundary conditions, two kinds of beams, the doubly-clamped beam and the cantilever beam, are analyzed. Furthermore, boundary conditions can affect not only the initial state of the piezoelectric nanobeam but also the forms of the governing equations. Based on the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory, the nonlinear Green-Lagrangian strain-displacement relationship is applied. In addition, the surface area change is also considered in the proposed model. The governing equations of the doubly-clamped and cantilever beams are derived by the energy variation principle. Compared with existing Young-Laplace models, the proposed model for the doubly-clamped beam is similar to the Young-Laplace models. However, the governing equation of the cantilever beam derived by the proposed model is very different from that derived by the Young-Laplace models. 4Optimal power allocation for cognitive relay networks: amplify-and-forward versus selection relay显示文摘We consider a cognitive relay network which is defined by a source,a destination,and cognitive relay nodes and primary user nodes.In this network,a source is assisted by cognitive relay nodes which allow coexisting with primary user nodes by imposing severe constraints on the transmission power so that they operate below the noise floor of primary user nodes.In this paper,we mainly study the power allocation strategies of this system to minimize the outage probability subject to total and individual power constraints for cognitive relay nodes and subject to interference constraints for primary user nodes.A relay transmission scheme,namely amplify-and-forward (AF),is considered.We first present an optimal power allocation (OPA) scheme to minimize the system outage probability,based on instantaneous channel state information among the source,destination and relay nodes and mean channel gains between primary user nodes and cognitive relays.Next,we propose a selection AF scheme (S-AF) where the single best relay is chosen to assist in the transmission and study power allocation strategy for S-AF to minimize outage probability.The analytical power allocation strategies have been validated through numerical simulations.The results indicate that the AF with OPA and S-AF with OPA have significantly better outage behavior and average throughput than AF and S-AF schemes respectively.We also find that S-AF with OPA achieves a higher throughput,and hence lower outage probability than AF with OPA.YUE WenJing ZHENG BaoYu MENG QingMin YUE WenJie CUI JingWu 2011Science China(Information Sciences)2011,54,4:3
5A hybrid heterogeneous Pythagorean fuzzy group decision modelling for crowdfunding development process pathways of fintech‑based clean energy investment projects显示文摘This study aims to evaluate the crowdfunding alternatives regarding new service development process pathways of clean energy investment projects.In this framework,a new model has been generated by considering the consensus-based group decisionmaking with incomplete preferences,Pythagorean fuzzy decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory(DEMATEL)and technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution(TOPSIS).Moreover,a comparative evaluation has been performed with Vise Kriterijumska Optimizacija I.Kompromisno Resenje methodology and sensitivity analysis has been made by considering 4 different cases.The main contribution is to identify appropriate crowdfunding-based funding alternatives for the improvement of the clean energy investments with a novel MCDM model.By considering the iteration technique and consensus-based analysis,the missing parts in the evaluations can be completed and opposite opinion problems can be reduced.Furthermore,with the help of hybrid MCDM model by combining DEMATEL and TOPSIS,more objective results can be reached.It is concluded that the analysis results are coherent and reliable.The findings indicate that the full launch is the most significant criterion for equity and debt-based crowdfunding alternatives.On the other side,the analysis has the highest weight for reward and donation-based alternatives whereas design is the most essential item regarding the royalty-based alternative.Additionally,it is also defined that equity-based crowdfunding alternative is the most significant for the service development process of clean energy investment projects.In this way,it will be possible to provide a continuous resource for clean energy investment projects.On the other hand,by providing financing with equity,there will be no fixed financing cost for clean energy investors.If these investors make a profit,they distribute dividends with the decision of their authorized bodies.Yue Meng Haoyue Wu Wenjing Zhao Wenkuan Chen Hasan Dincer Serhat Yuksel 2021Financial Innovation2021,7,1:2
6Hydrothermal Systems Characterized by Crustal Thermally-dominated Structures of Southeastern China显示文摘Southeastern China(SE China)is located in the Pacific tectonic domain and has experienced a series of tectono-magmatic events induced by the subduction of the Paleo-Pacific Plate since the late Mesozoic.The subduction formed a series of NE-NNE oriented faults under a NW-SE regional stress field,along which a number of thermal springs occur.Previous studies have focused on the genesis mechanism of specific geothermal fields in SE China,but the general characteristics of hydrothermal systems in SE China remains unclear.In this study,we investigate the correlation between geothermal activity,hydrochemical type and regional faults by studying the distribution of hydrothermal activity and geochemical properties of typical hydrothermal systems in SE China.The hydrothermal systems in SE China have a crustal thermally-dominated structural origin unique to the specific geological and tectonic conditions of the Eurasian Plate margin.The upwelling of the asthenosphere and the widespread granitoids with high radiogenic heat production in SE China provide major heat sources for regional geothermal anomalies.The NE-oriented crustal thermally-dominated faults are critical for the formation of geothermal anomalies and NW-oriented extensional faults have created favorable conditions for meteoric water infiltration,transportation and the formation of thermal springs.WANG Guiling GAN Haonan LIN Wenjing YUE Gaofan YAN Xiaoxue LI Tingxin ZHANG Wei MA Feng 2023Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,4:2
7A Particle Filter Based Compressive Sensing Method for Tracking Moving Wideband Sound Sources显示文摘Tracking moving wideband sound sources is one of the most challenging issues in the acoustic array signal processing which is based on the direction of arrival(DOA) estimation. Compressive sensing(CS) is a recent theory exploring the signal sparsity representation, which has been proved to be superior for the DOA estimation. However, the spatial aliasing and the offset at endfire are the main obstacles for CS applied in the wideband DOA estimation. We propose a particle filter based compressive sensing method for tracking moving wideband sound sources. First, the initial DOA estimates are obtained by wideband CS algorithms. Then, the real sources are approximated by a set of particles with different weights assigned. The kernel density estimator is used as the likelihood function of particle filter. We present the results for both uniform and random linear array. Simulation results show that the spatial aliasing is disappeared and the offset at endfire is reduced. 8Electronic structures and optical properties of two anthracene derivatives显示文摘The electronic structures and the optical properties of two anthracene derivatives, DBMA and DAA, are investigated by both experimental tech- niques and quantum chemical calculations. The cy- clic voltammetry and differential pulse polarograph measurement revealed that the introduction of ben- zol-imidazol and pyrrolo-pyridine group on the an- thracene block can affect the electrochemical be- havior of DBMA and DAA. Both UV/visible absorption and emission spectra of DBMA and DAA are red-shifted in contrast to the unsubstituted anthra- cene, so that the anthracene derivatives emit at blue-green region and the luminescence yields are remarkably elevated (over 90%). The B3LYP/6-31G theoretical calculations explored that the electronic structures of the anthracene derivatives are per- turbed by the side substitutes on the anthracene block, and the slight variation of the electronic struc- tures results in the enhanced electron accepting abil- ity and the decrease of the HOMO-LUMO energy gap, which is the origin of the emission to be shifted to blue-green region. 123D-printed cell-free PCL-MECM scaffold with biomimetic micro-structure and micro-environment to enhance in situ meniscus regeneration显示文摘Despite intensive effort was made to regenerate injured meniscus by cell-free strategies through recruiting endogenous stem/progenitor cells,meniscus regeneration remains a great challenge in clinic.In this study,we found decellularized meniscal extracellular matrix(MECM)preserved native meniscal collagen and glycosaminoglycans which could be a good endogenous regeneration guider for stem cells.Moreover,MECM significantly promoted meniscal fibrochondrocytes viability and proliferation,increased the expression of type II collagen and proteoglycans in vitro.Meanwhile,we designed 3D-printed polycaprolactone(PCL)scaffolds which mimic the circumferential and radial collagen orientation in native meniscus.Taken these two advantages together,a micro-structure and micro-environment dually biomimetic cell-free scaffold was manipulated.This cell-free PCL-MECM scaffold displayed superior biocompatibility and yielded favorable biomechanical capacities closely to native meniscus.Strikingly,neo-menisci were regenerated within PCL-MECM scaffolds which were transplanted into knee joints underwent medial meniscectomy in rabbits and sheep models.Histological staining confirmed neo-menisci showed meniscus-like heterogeneous staining.Mankin scores showed PCL-MECM scaffold could protect articular cartilage well,and knee X-ray examination revealed same results.Knee magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)scanning also showed some neo-menisci in PCL-MECM scaffold group.In conclusion,PCL-MECM scaffold appears to optimize meniscus regeneration.This could represent a promising approach worthy of further investigation in preclinical applications.Weimin Guo Mingxue Chen Zhenyong Wang Yue Tian Jinxuan Zheng Shuang Gao Yangyang Li Yufeng Zheng Xu Li Jingxiang Huang Wei Niu Shuangpeng Jiang Chunxiang Hao Zhiguo Yuan Yu Zhang Mingjie Wang Zehao Wang Jiang Peng Aiyuan Wang Yu Wang Xiang Sui Wenjing Xu Libo Hao Xifu Zheng Shuyun Liu Quanyi Guo 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,10:1

14A waterproof and breathable Cotton/rGO/CNT composite for constructing a layer-by-layer structured multifunctional flexible sensor显示文摘Developing a cotton fabric sensing layer with good waterproofness and breathability via a low-cost and eco-friendly method is increasingly important for the construction of comfortable and wearable electronic devices.Herein,a waterproof and breathable cotton fabric composite decorated by reduced graphene oxide(rGO)and carbon nanotube(CNT),Cotton/rGO/CNT,is reported by a facile solution infiltration method,and we adopt such Cotton/rGO/CNT composite to develop a layer-by-layer structured multifunctional flexible sensor,enabling the high-sensitivity detection of pressure and temperature stimulus.Particularly,the multifunctional flexible sensor exhibits a high response toward tiny pressure,demonstrating salient superiority in the continuous and reliable monitoring of human physiological information.Concerning temperature sensing,a good linear response for the temperatures ranging from 28 to 40℃ is achieved by the multifunctional flexible sensor and gives rise to be successfully applied to the non-contact real-time monitoring of human respiration signal.Finally,an array consisting of multifunctional flexible sensors further demonstrates its feasibility in perceiving and mapping the pressure and temperature information of contact objects.This work provides a feasible strategy for designing cotton-based sensing layers that can effectively resist liquid water penetration and allow water vapor transmission,and offers reasonable insight for constructing comfort and multifunctional wearable electronics.Feifei Yin Yunjian Guo Hao Li Wenjing Yue Chunwei Zhang Duo Chen Wei Geng Yang Li Song Gao Guozhen Shen 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:1

19UCHL5 inhibits U251 glioma cell proliferation and tumor growth via stabilizing and deubiquitinating PTEN显示文摘Glioma is the most common primary brain tumor.Exploration of new tumorigenesis mechanism of glioma is critical to determine more effective treatment targets as well as to develop effective prognosis methods that can enhance the treatment efficacy.We previously demonstrated that the deubiquitinase biquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase L5(UCHL5)was downregulated in human glioma.However,the effect and mechanism of UCHL5 on the proliferation of glioma cells remains unknown.Methods:Transfection of siRNA was used to knockdown the expression of UCHL5 in U251 cells.The 3-[4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5 diphenyl tetrazolium bromide(MTT)assay,Edu assay,and colony formation assay were employed to identify the effect of UCHL5 on the proliferation of U251 glioma cells.Western blotting and quantitative real-time PCR were carried out to detect the interaction of UCHL5 and PTEN.The effect of UCHL5 on the growth of glioma in vivo was evaluated in nude mice.Then Immunohistochemistry(IHC)were performed to analysis the expression of UCHL5 and PTEN in human glioma tissues.Results:Here,we have reported that silencing of UCHL5 could promote the proliferation of U251 glioma cells through MTT assay,Edu assay,and colony formation assay.Mechanically,we revealed that UCHL5 stabilizes the phosphatase and tensin homolog(PTEN)expression by deubiquitination,thereby inhibiting cell proliferation in U251 cells.Tumor xenograft experiments further demonstrated that silencing the UCHL5 expression could accelerate U251 cell growth in vivo.Finally,in human glioma tissue microarray,the positive correlation between UCHL5 and PTEN expression was confirmed through IHC assay.Conclusion:UCHL5 restrains the proliferation of U251 glioma cells by stabilizing and deubiquitinating PTEN.Our findings provide ideas for developing enhanced targeted PTEN therapy for patients with glioma.YUE XIAO WENJING MA XINYI CHEN WEIWEI HU QIANQIAN DI XIBAO ZHAO GUODONG HUANG WEILIN CHEN 2023BIOCELL2023,47,12:0
