1Highly stable full-color display device with VLC application potential using semipolarμLEDs and all-inorganic encapsulated perovskite nanocrystal显示文摘A promising approach for the development of effective full-color displays is to combine blue micro LEDs(μLEDs)with color conversion layers.Perovskite nanocrystals(PNCs)are notable for their tolerance to defects and provide excellent photoluminescence quantum yields and high color purity compared to metal chalcogenide quantum dots.The stability of PNCs in ambient conditions and under exposure to blue light can be improved using a SiO;coating.This study proposes a device that could be used for both display and visible light communication(VLC)applications.The semipolar blueμLED array fabricated in this study shows a negligible wavelength shift,indicating a significant reduction in the quantum confined Stark effect.Owing to its shorter carrier lifetime,the semipolar μLED array exhibits an impressive peak 3 dB bandwidth of 655 MHz and a data transmission rate of1.2 Gb/s corresponding to an injection current of 200 m A.The PNC-μLED device assembled from a semipolarμLED array with PNCs demonstrates high color stability and wide color-gamut features,achieving 127.23% and 95.00%of the National Television Standards Committee standard and Rec.2020 on the CIE 1931 color diagram,respectively.These results suggest that the proposed PNC-μLED device is suitable for both display-related and VLC applications.TINGZHU WU YUE LIN YU-MING HUANG MENG LIU KONTHOUJAM JAMES SINGH WANSHENG LIN TINGWEI LU XI ZHENG JIANYANG ZHOU HAO-CHUNG KUO ZHONG CHEN 2021Photonics Research2021,9,11:5
2DYNAMIC PRICING UNDER TEMPERATURE CONTROL FOR PERISHABLE FOODS显示文摘Consumers pay more and more attention to the quality of perishable foods,which is mainly affected by storage temperature.This paper presents a dynamic pricing model for perishable foods under temperature control.To maximize the total profit,the optimal price and storage temperature are obtained using Pontryagin's maximum principle.A static pricing model is provided to compare with the dynamic one.It is shown by a numerical example that the dynamic policy can make more revenue than the static one.Moreover,the managerial implications are analyzed and the effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated.Wenwen Liu Wansheng Tang Lin Feng Jianxiong Zhang 2014Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering2014,23,3:3

16Simulation of temperature distribution and discharge crater of SiC_(p)/Al composites in a single-pulsed arc discharge显示文摘SiC_(p)/Al composites are difficult-to-cut materials.In recent years,electrical arc discharge machining has been developed to improve the machinability of these materials.However,there is a big challenge to build a satisfactory heat transfer model of SiC_(p)/Al composites in the arc machining.This is not only because of the material property difference between the reinforcement and matrix material but also because of the micro-dimension Si C reinforcements.This paper established a new heat conduction simulation model considering the Si C particle-Al matrix interface and the phase change effects in a single-pulsed arc discharge of SiC_(p)/Al composites.A novel Si C particle-Al matrix cell geometric model was designed firstly.Then,the temperature distribution at a different depth from the workpiece surface was analyzed,the influence of sic volume fraction on temperature field was studied,and the contribution of the interface thermal resistance and latent heat were explained.To demonstrate the validity of the new numerical model,comparisons and verifications were employed.Finally,the method of improving the model was proposed and the machining mechanism of arc discharge of SiC_(p)/Al matrix materials was discussed.It was found that high temperature is prone to concentrate on the surface layers of the workpiece especially when the Si C fraction is high,also,the temperature fluctuates respectively at the evaporation point of aluminum and Si C,and the Si C-Al resistance has less influence on temperature distribution compared to latent heat,etc.The model build in this work improves the simulation accuracy observably compared to the previous model,and the simulation work will help to acquire a detailed mechanism of material removal of SiC_(p)/Al composites in the arc discharge machining.Jipeng CHEN Lin GU Wansheng ZHAO Mario GUAGLIANO 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,9:0
17Conformal Human–Machine Integration Using Highly Bending‑Insensitive,Unpixelated,and Waterproof Epidermal Electronics Toward Metaverse显示文摘Efficient and flexible interactions require precisely converting human intentions into computer-recognizable signals,which is critical to the breakthrough development of metaverse.Interactive electronics face common dilemmas,which realize highprecision and stable touch detection but are rigid,bulky,and thick or achieve high flexibility to wear but lose precision.Here,we construct highly bending-insensitive,unpixelated,and waterproof epidermal interfaces(BUW epidermal interfaces)and demonstrate their interactive applications of conformal human–machine integration.The BUW epidermal interface based on the addressable electrical contact structure exhibits high-precision and stable touch detection,high flexibility,rapid response time,excellent stability,and versatile“cut-and-paste”character.Regardless of whether being flat or bent,the BUW epidermal interface can be conformally attached to the human skin for real-time,comfortable,and unrestrained interactions.This research provides promising insight into the functional composite and structural design strategies for developing epidermal electronics,which offers a new technology route and may further broaden human–machine interactions toward metaverse.Chao Wei Wansheng Lin Liang Wang Zhicheng Cao Zijian Huang Qingliang Liao Ziquan Guo Yuhan Su Yuanjin Zheng Xinqin Liao Zhong Chen 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,11:0

20An All‑In‑One Multifunctional Touch Sensor with Carbon‑Based Gradient Resistance Elements显示文摘Human–machine interactions using deep-learning methods are important in the research of virtual reality,augmented reality,and metaverse.Such research remains challenging as current interactive sensing interfaces for single-point or multipoint touch input are trapped by massive crossover electrodes,signal crosstalk,propagation delay,and demanding configuration requirements.Here,an all-inone multipoint touch sensor(AIOM touch sensor)with only two electrodes is reported.The AIOM touch sensor is efficiently constructed by gradient resistance elements,which can highly adapt to diverse application-dependent configurations.Combined with deep learning method,the AIOM touch sensor can be utilized to recognize,learn,and memorize human–machine interactions.A biometric verification system is built based on the AIOM touch sensor,which achieves a high identification accuracy of over 98%and offers a promising hybrid cyber security against password leaking.Diversiform human–machine interactions,including freely playing piano music and programmatically controlling a drone,demonstrate the high stability,rapid response time,and excellent spatiotemporally dynamic resolution of the AIOM touch sensor,which will promote significant development of interactive sensing interfaces between fingertips and virtual objects.Chao Wei Wansheng Lin Shaofeng Liang Mengjiao Chen Yuanjin Zheng Xinqin Liao Zhong Chen 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,8:0
