1Enhancement of CO2 Absorption under Taylor Flow in the Presence of Fine Particles显示文摘The physical absorption of CO2 in water containing different types of particles was studied in a microchannel operated under Taylor flow.The maximum enhancement factors of 1.43 2.15 were measured for activated carbon (AcC) particles.The analysis shows that the enhancement effect can be attributed to the shuttle mechanism.Considering the separate contributions of mass transfer from bubble cap and liquid film,a heterogeneous enhancement model is developed.According to this model,the enhancement factors E Cap,E Film and E Ov are mainly determined by mass transfer coefficient KL (KL,Cap and KL,Film),adsorptive capacity of particles m,and coverage fraction of particles at gas-liquid interface ζ.With both effects of particle-to-interface adhesion and apparent viscosity included,the model predicts the enhancement effect of AcC particles reasonably well.CAI Wangfeng ZHANG Jiao ZHANG Xubin WANG Yan QI Xiangjuan 2013Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2013,21,2:9
2Effects of cotton field management practices on soil CO2 emission and C balance in an arid region of Northwest China显示文摘Changes in both soil organic C storage and soil respiration in farmland ecosystems may affect atmospheric CO2 concentration and global C cycle. The objective of this field experiment was to study the effects of three crop field management practices on soil CO2 emission and C balance in a cotton field in an arid region of Northwest China. The three management practices were irrigation methods(drip and flood), stubble managements(stubble-incorporated and stubble-removed) and fertilizer amendments(no fertilizer(CK), chicken manure(OM), inorganic N, P and K fertilizer(NPK), and inorganic fertilizer plus chicken manure(NPK+OM)). The results showed that within the C pool range, soil CO2 emission during the whole growing season was higher in the drip irrigation treatment than in the corresponding flood irrigation treatment, while soil organic C concentration was larger in the flood irrigation treatment than in the corresponding drip irrigation treatment. Furthermore, soil CO2 emission and organic C concentration were all higher in the stubble-incorporated treatment than in the corresponding stubble-removed treatment, and larger in the NPK+OM treatment than in the other three fertilizer amendments within the C pool range. The combination of flood irrigation, stubble incorporation and application of either NPK+OM or OM increased soil organic C concentration in the 0-60 cm soil depth. Calculation of net ecosystem productivity(NEP) under different management practices indicated that the combination of drip irrigation, stubble incorporation and NPK+OM increased the size of the C pool most, followed by the combination of drip irrigation, stubble incorporation and NPK. In conclusion, management practices have significant impacts on soil CO2 emission, organic C concentration and C balance in cotton fields. 3Mesozoic-Cenozoic thermal history of Turpan-Hami Basin: apatite fission track constraints显示文摘Apatite fission track dating is carried out on nine samples collected from the central part (Lianmuqin section) and from both northern and southern margins of Turpan Hami Basin. The fission track ages of seven Jurassic samples are distinctly younger than depositional ages. In contrast, the fission track ages of two Cretaceous samples are older than, or as old as depositional ages. These observations indicate that the Jurassic samples have been annealed or partially annealed, whereas the Cretaceous samples have not been annealed. The further thermal modelling results show that Turpan Hami Basin experienced a Late Cretaceous period (120-100 Ma) of tectonic uplift with rapid cooling and exhumation of sediments. 4Relationship between plant canopy characteristics and photosynthetic productivity in diverse cultivars of cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.)显示文摘Genotype and plant type affect photosynthetic production by changing the canopy structure in crops.To analyze the mechanism of action of heterosis and plant type on canopy structure in cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.),we had selected two cotton hybrids(Shiza 2,Xinluzao 43) and two conventional varieties(Xinluzao 13,Xinluzao 33) with different plant types in this experiment.We studied canopy characteristics and their correlation with photosynthesis in populations of different genotypes and plant types during yield formation in Xinjiang,China.Canopy characteristics including leaf area index(LAI),mean foliage tilt angle(MTA),canopy openness(DIFN),and chlorophyll relative content(SPAD).The results showed that LAI and SPAD peak values were higher and their peak values arrived later,and the adjustment capacity of MTA during the flowering and boll-forming stages was stronger in Xinluzao 43,with the normal-leaf,pagoda plant type,than these values in other varieties.DIFN of Xinluzao 43 remained between0.09 and 0.12 during the flowering and boll-forming stages,but was lower than that in the other varieties during the boll-opening stage.Thus,these characteristics of Xinluzao 43 were helpful for optimizing the light environment and maximizing light interception,thereby increasing photosynthetic capability.The photosynthetic rate and photosynthetic area were thus affected by cotton genotype as changes in the adjustment range of MTA,increases in peak values of LAI and SPAD,and extension of the functional stage of leaves.Available photosynthetic area and canopy light environment were affected by cotton plant type as changes in MTA and DIFN.Heterosis expression and plant type development were coordinated during different growth stages,the key to optimizing the canopy structure and further increasing yield.Guoyi Feng Honghai Luo Yali Zhang Ling Gou Yandi Yao Yongzeng Lin Wangfeng Zhang 2016The Crop Journal2016,4,6:6
5Fe–Mn/MCM-41: Preparation,Characterization,and Catalytic Activity for Methyl Orange in the Process of Heterogeneous Fenton Reaction显示文摘Active Fe-and Mn-loaded MCM-41(Fe–Mn/MCM-41),which was synthesized via a hydrothermal reaction followed by impregnation,is used in the heterogeneous Fenton reaction to degrade methyl orange(MO) in aqueous solution. The synthesized samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,N_2 adsorption–desorption isotherm analysis,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Compared with Fe/MCM-41 and Mn/MCM-41,Fe–Mn/MCM-41 showed higher activity for MO degradation and mineralization. Effects of various operating parameters,such as pH,Mn content,and H_2O_2 dosage,on the degradation process were subsequently investigated. Results of experiments on the effect of radical scavengers revealed that the degradation of MO could be attributed to oxidation by HO_·. 7A Synthesis, Process Optimization, and Mechanism Investigation for the Formation of Polyoxymethylene Dimethyl Ethers显示文摘Polyoxymethylene dimethyl ethers(DMM_n) are promising diesel additives. The synthesis of DMM_n from methylal(DMM) and paraformaldehyde over the NKC-9 acidic ion-exchange resin catalyst was investigated. Many unrecyclable by-products such as methyl formate, dimethyl ether and formic acid were produced in the reaction. To increase the selectivity of the desired products DMM_(3-6) and reduce the amount of unrecyclable by-products, the effects of reaction temperature, time, pressure and the molar ratio of the raw materials were evaluated through a series of single factor experiments. Experiments revealed that trace amount of water could suppress the formation of unrecyclable by-products, and the optimum initial water content(less than 2 wt%) was investigated. In addition, the synthetic process needs to go through the polyoxymethylene hemiformals intermediate stage, and then the DMM_n were obtained when polyoxymethylene hemiformals reacted with methanol. 9A composite metal-organic framework material with high selective adsorption for dibenzothiophene显示文摘A copper-centred metal-organic framework material MOF-101 with 2-bromine terephthalic acid as ligands was synthesized by solvothermal method at 70 ℃ and modified by loading Ag^+to improve the selective adsorption performance.The MOF-101 and Ag^+/MOF-101 prepared were characterised by powder X-ray diffraction,X-ray fluo re scence,Fourier trans fo rm infrared spectroscopy,scanning electro n microscopy,and thermogravimetric analysis.The adsorptive desulphurisation was quantified by adsorbing dibenzothiophene(DBT)from model oils.The loading of Ag^+enhanced the deep adsorptive desulfurization capacity fo r DBT and significantly weaken the adsorption competitiveness of toluene.As a result,the DBT concentration of model oil was reduced from 50 ppms to 10.2 ppms.Possible understandings were put forward to explain the adsorption performance of Ag^+/MOF-101.The kinetics and isotherm data can be well-described by the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and the Langmuir model.Xu Guan Yan Wang Wangfeng Cai 2019Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,6:3
10Genetic Transformation of Brassica campestris L.ssp.pekinensis via Agrobacterium-with Bt Gene显示文摘By means of Agrobacterium-mediated transformation, 43 kanamycin-resistant buds of Chinese cabbage were got. PCR, PCR-Southern blot and dot blot analysis were used to identify and characterize the putative transgenic plants. 26 plants had the predicted bands of the fragment of npt Ⅱ gene. 11SYSTEMATIC AND DYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF CASTING HOT SPOT显示文摘The variation of casting hot spot with proceeding of solidification and components of casting-mold system is studied by the technique of numerical simulation of solidification.The result shows that the thickest part of casting is not exactly the last part of solidification in the casting, while the last part of solidification is not exactly casting hot spot at the early stage of solidification.The location, size, shape and number of casting hot spot change with geomitric, physical and technological factors of the casting-mold system such as thickness of the casting secondary wall and with the passage of time in the course of the solidification.The former is known as the systematic property of hot spot and the latter, dynamic property.Only when the properties of hot spot are grasped completely and accurately, can it be fed more effectively.By doing so, not only sound castings can be obtained, but also riser efficiency can be improved.FanJinhui WeiBing WangFeng 2003Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2003,16,2:2

14Tectono-geochemistry analyses of fault rocks in shear zone of metamorphic core complex in north Jiangxi, China显示文摘Through a systematic sampling test and mass equilibrium analysis of the three sorts of complex assemblages (intrusive complex, tectonic complex and metamorphic complex) penetrating the metamorphic core complex (MCC) in the Xingzi area of north Jiangxi, the authors find that, like major elements, the trace elements of small ion radius, big specific gravity and high potential form the accumulative series in fault rocks, instead of divergence series. In rare earth elements, ΣREE and HREE are relatively centralized, characteristic of rising and Eu loss in the distribution pattern. 15Upgrade of plasma density feedback control system in HT-7 tokamak显示文摘The HT-7 is a superconducting tokamak in China used to make researches on the controlled nuclear fusion as a national project for the fusion research. The plasma density feedback control subsystem is the one of the subsystems of the distributed control system in HT-7 tokamak (HT7DCS). The main function of the subsystem is to control the plasma density on real-time. For this reason, the real-time capability and good stability are the most significant factors, which will influence the control results. Since the former plasma density feedback control system (FPDFCS) based on Windows operation system could not fulfill such requirements well, a new subsystem has to be developed. 17Gene expression profiles of the developing human retina显示文摘Retina is a multilayer and highly specialized tissue important in converting light into neural signals. In humans, the critical period for the formation of complex multiplayer structure takes place during embryogenesis be- tween 12 and 28 weeks. The morphologic changes during retinal development in humans have been studied but little is known about the molecular events essential for the formation of the retina. To gain further insights into this process, cDNA microarrays containing 16361 human gene probes were used to measure the gene expression levels in retinas. Of the 16361 genes, 68.7%, 71.4% and 69.7% showed positive hybridiza- tion with cDNAs made from 12—16 week fetal, 22—26 week fetal and adult retinas. A total of 814 genes showed a mini- mum of 3-fold changes between the lowest and highest ex- pression levels among three time points and among them, 106 genes had expression levels with the hybridization intensity above 100 at one or more time points. The clustering analysis suggested that the majority of differentially expressed genes were down-regulated during the retinal development. The differentially expressed genes were further classified accord- ing to functions of known genes, and were ranked in de- creasing order according to frequency: development, differ- entiation, signal transduction, protein synthesis and transla- tion, metabolism, DNA binding and transcription, DNA syn- thesis-repair-recombination, immuno-response, ion channel- transport, cell receptor, cytoskeleton, cell cycle, pro-oncogene, stress and apoptosis related genes. Among these 106 differen- tially expressed genes, 60 are already present in NEI retina cDNA or EST Databank but the remaining 46 genes are ab- sent and thus identified as “function unknown”. To validate gene expression data from the microarray, real-time RT-PCR was performed for 46 “function unknown” genes and 6 known retina specific expression genes, and β-actin was used as internal control. Twenty-seven of these genes showed very similar expression profiles between the microarray and real-time RT-PCR data. In situ hybridization revealed both expression level and cellular distribution of NNAT in retina. Finally, the chromosomal locations of 106 differentially ex- pressed genes were also searched and one of these genes is associated with autosomal dominant cone or cone-rod dys- trophy.
