1Highly stable and antifouling graphene oxide membranes prepared by bio-inspired modification for water purification显示文摘Graphene oxide(GO)membranes show great potential in molecular separation for water treatment.However,the inferior stability of GO membranes is a major bottleneck for practical applications.In this study,bio-inspired polydopamine(PDA)deposition is reported for enhancing the stability of GO membranes.Through simple and mild immersion,PDA is self-polymerized on GO membranes.The blocking of PDA chains to membrane defects improves the rejections for various molecules.Because the inherently strong adhesion and crosslinking of PDA greatly strengthen the interactions of substrates to GO layers and the binding force of GO nanosheets,the prepared PDA-GO membranes exhibit impressive long-te rm stability in cross-flow filtration,and maintain good nanofiltration perfo rmance at various feed pressures,tangential velocities,and eve n after external scratching.Moreover,because the deposited PDA layers obstruct the direct contact between GO and contaminants,the antifouling property of the PDA-GO membranes increases substantially,with recovery ratio about 98%.Weiming Zhong Yuyu Zhang Ling Zhao Wanbin Li 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,10:3

3Joint optimal sensing time and power allocation for multi-channel cognitive radio networks considering sensing-channel selection显示文摘In this paper,we consider a multi-channel cognitive radio network(CRN)where each secondary user(SU)can only choose to sense a subset of channels.We formulate a joint optimization problem of sensingchannel selection,sensing time and power allocation under the constraints of average transmit power budget and average interference power budget,which maximizes the CRN’s total throughput.We propose a greedy algorithm to solve the joint optimization problem,which has much less computational complexity.Moreover,it is shown that the search space of the greedy algorithm can be further pruned.Finally,numerical results demonstrate that the greedy algorithm has comparable performance to the exhaustive search algorithm.YU HuoGen TANG WanBin LI ShaoQian 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,4:2

5Regulating the nanoscale intimacy of metal and acidic sites in Ru/γ-Al_(2)O_(3)for the selective conversions of lignin-derived phenols to jet fuels显示文摘Catalytic hydrodeoxygenation(HDO)of biomass-derived oxy-compounds to advanced hydrocarbon fuels usually requires bifunctional catalysts containing metals and acidic sites.The appropriate tuning of metal and/or acidic active sites at interfaces of bifunctional catalysts can significantly improve catalyst activity and product selectivity.Here,4-trifuoromethyl salicylic acid(TFMSA),as a hydrothermal stable organic acid,was employed to tailor the bifunctional interface of Ru/γ-Al_(2)O_(3)to enhance the catalytic performance on converting lignin-derived phenols to jet fuel range cycloalkanes.More than 80%phenol was converted into cyclohexane at 230°C for 1 h over Ru/γ-Al_(2)O_(3)modified by TFMSA,which was about three times higher than that over unmodified Ru/γ-Al_(2)O_(3).X-ray diffraction(XRD),Transmission electron microscope(TEM),H2 chemisorption,and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS)elemental mapping results indicated that Ru nanoparticles and TFMSA were well distributed onγ-Al_(2)O_(3),and a nanoscale intimacy between Ru and TFMSA was reached.Meanwhile,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy after pyridine adsorption(Py-FT-IR)analysis proved that Brønsted acidic sites on the catalytic interfaces of TFMSA modified Ru/γ-Al_(2)O_(3)had been improved.Moreover,the kinetic and density functional theory(DFT)results suggested that the synergistic effects of adjacent Ru nanoparticles and acidic sites were crutial for promoting the rate-limiting conversion step of phenol HDO to cyclohexane.Shanshuai Chen Weichen Wang Xue Li Puxiang Yan Wanying Han Tian Sheng Tiansheng Deng Wanbin Zhu Hongliang Wang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,3:1

9Asymmetric Synthesis of Anti-tuberculosis-specific Drug TBAJ-876 through Synergistic Li/Li Catalysis显示文摘TBAJ-876, developed by TB Alliance, a novel anti-tuberculosis-specific drug, has entered Phase II clinical trials. Herein, the first asymmetric synthesis of TBAJ-876 has been realized using synergistic Li/Li catalysis with excellent yield of 95% and 88 : 12 er (99.6 : 0.4 er, 10 : 1 dr after simple recrystallization). Furthermore, DFT calculations and 7Li-NMR analysis illustrated the mechanism of the synergistic reaction: a chiral Li-complex activates the nucleophile to control the stereoselectivity, while the other achiral Li-complex activates the electrophile to catalyze the carbonyl addition reaction. 10Asymmetric synthesis of bedaquiline based on bimetallic activation and non-covalent interaction promotion strategies显示文摘Bedaquiline(BDQ),approved by Food and Drug Administration(FDA)in 2012 as the first anti-tuberculosis-specific drug in the last 40 years,is viewed as one of the world’s most promising treatments for tuberculosis(TB).Due to the stereoselective construction of the Csp^(3)–Csp^(3)bond with vicinal stereocenters of BDQ and its analogues being an unsolved challenge,there have not been any reports concerning its asymmetric synthesis for the current industrial production process until now.Herein,we have successfully developed a cooperative bimetallic system for the asymmetric synthesis of BDQ under the guidance of density functional theory(DFT)computations.Based on the optimized conditions,BDQ could be synthesized with excellent enantioselectivity(>99%ee)and diastereoselectivity(16:1 dr).A 5-g scale reaction was also conducted with comparably excellent results,showing its potential for industrial application.Feng Gao Jing Li Tanveer Ahmad Yicong Luo Zhenfeng Zhang Qianjia Yuan Xiaohong Huo Tao Song Wanbin Zhang 2022Science China Chemistry2022,65,10:1

13Synthesis of Chiral Hydantoins and Thiazolidinediones via Iridium-Catalyzed Asymmetric Hydrogenation显示文摘Herein,we report an iridium-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of hydantoin and thiazolidinedione derived exocyclic alkenes using our developed BiphPHOX as a ligand.The transformation shows good functional group tolerance,and gives the hydrogenated prod-ucts with excellent yields(up to 99%)and enantioselectivities(up to 98%ee).A gram-scale reaction was also carried out,and pro-vided the hydrogenated product in excellent yield with no erosion in enantioselectivity.Finally,the transformation of the hydrogen-ated product provided an efficient approach for the synthesis of the intermediate of a HIV protease inhibitor.Yu Nie Jing Li Qianjia Yuan Wanbin Zhang 2022Chinese Journal of Chemistry2022,40,7:0
14A survey of the information needs of visually impaired library users显示文摘Purpose:The research aims to investigate the information needs of visually impaired library users in China in order to increase our understanding of these users and help the Chinese public libraries improve their services for them.Design/methodology/approach:A questionnaire survey was used to study the library users' information needs.Eleven large public libraries in different areas of China,which were pioneers in implementing services for visually impaired people,were chosen to conduct the survey.Data analysis was based on 97 valid questionnaires retrieved.Findings:Radio and television were still the preferred sources of information for visually impaired users.In information seeking,they had a strong preference for obtaining information in the most convenient way,and accessing a vast amount of information,which was updated quickly.They paid more attention to the information closely related to their work and life.Their purposes of seeking information were mainly for learning,relaxation and intercommunication.Visually impaired users felt some barriers in their access to library services such as a lack of time or a sighted companion who can come along for the trip to the library.Moreover,it was difficult for them to use the Internet to search for information,because many websites do not support the auxiliary software designed especially for visually impaired users or the websites offer only a paid subscriber service.Research limitations:A majority of the respondents were young and middle-aged people and engaged in work.The sample size needs to be enlarged,and different groups of users such as old people and students should be included to yield more useful results.Practical implications:The survey results provide insights into the information needs of the Chinese visually impaired library users.Meanwhile,the research can serve as a reference source for the future studies of the service for visually impaired library users.Originality/value:So far,few studies were conducted to investigate the information needs of visually impaired library users in China.Wanbin LI Yanna LI 2014Chinese Journal of Library and Information Science2014,,1:0
15Hierarchical Layout Deduction for Furniture Model Retrieval显示文摘3D CAD model retrieval plays a fundamental role in producing impressive and innovative designs easier and faster. However, after decades of efforts, effective retrieval approach for furniture models is still rare. A novel retrieval approach for furniture models, based on a hierarchical layout deduction, is proposed according to the common structure characteristics of furniture. In order to discriminate furniture models effectively both on topological, geometrical and semantic layers, special components for furniture model are defined and a multiresolution furniture model descriptor, attributed hierarchy layout graph,is adopted. To promote the retrieval efficiency, a filtering process, based on random walks method, is applied. Based on hierarchy graph matching, the similarity between two furniture models, is determined. 16Mechanical compression management of the right middle cerebral artery inferior trunk using a stent during coil embolization of middle cerebral artery aneurysms:A case report and literature review显示文摘Endovascular coil embolization is a minimally invasive,rapid,and effective method for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms.However,complications associated with coil embolization,such as intraoperative aneurysm rupture or arterial occlusion,should be promptly managed during the procedure to avoid catastrophic consequences.This study presents a case of mechanical compression management of the right middle cerebral artery(MCA)inferior trunk during coil embolization for bilateral MCA aneurysms.The inferior trunk of the right MCA was abruptly occluded due to mechanical compression during coil embolization of the right MCA bifurcation aneurysm.A Solitaire AB stent(4×20 mm,Covidien/Medtronic,Dublin,Ireland)was implanted in the inferior trunk of the right MCA after tirofiban was injected via a microcatheter,and the right inferior trunk was recanalized.The patient also underwent coil embolization of the left MCA bifurcation aneurysm,without any complications.It is crucial to recognize compressive occlusion of adjacent aneurysm branches to avoid severe complications during intracranial aneurysm embolization.Stent placement is a rescue treatment option for recanalization of an occluded artery.Zhengyu Wang Zhiqing Peng Liang Chen Wanbin Li Yongli Wang 2023Journal of Interventional Medicine2023,6,3:0
17Sub-5 nm porous polymer decoration toward superhydrophobic MOFs with enhanced stability and processability显示文摘Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) show great potential for various applications, but many of them suffer from the drawbacks of hydrolysis propensity and poor processability. Herein, we employ polymers of intrinsic microporosity(PIMs) with hydrophobic pores to decorate MOFs toward substantially improved water stability and shapeability. Through simple PIM-1 decoration, the sub-5 nm polymer layers can be uniformly deposited on MOF surfaces with almost no deterioration in porosity. Owing to the existence of superhydrophobic coating and the obstruction of water entrance into MOFs, the PIM-1 coated Cu BTC exhibits impressive water resistance and excellent pore preservation ability after exposure in water, even in acidic and alkaline solutions. 18OPTIMIZATION OF MULTIPLE-CHANNEL COOPERATIVE SPECTRUM SENSING WITH DATA FUSION RULE IN COGNITIVE RADIO NETWORKS显示文摘This paper focuses on multi-channel Cooperative Spectrum Sensing (CSS) where Secondary Users (SUs) are assigned to cooperatively sense multiple channels simultaneously. A multi-channel CSS optimization problem of joint spectrum sensing and SU assignment based on data fusion rule is formulated, which maximizes the total throughput of the Cognitive Radio Network (CRN) subject to the constraints of probabilities of detection and false alarm. To address the optimization problem, a Branch and Bound (BnB) algorithm and a greedy algorithm are proposed to obtain the optimal solutions. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed algorithms and show that the throughput improvement is achieved through the joint design.
