| 2 | Assessment of Point and Nonpoint Sources Pollution in Songhua River Basin,Northeast China by Using Revised Water Quality Model显示文摘Individual participation of pollutants in the pollution load should be estimated even if roughly for the appropriate environmental management of a river basin.It is difficult to identify the sources and to quantify the load, especially in modeling nonpoint source.In this study a revised model was established by integrating point and nonpoint sources into one-dimensional Streeter-Phelps(S-P) model on the basis of real-time hydrologic data and surface water quality monitoring data in the Jilin Reach of the Songhua River Basin.Chemical oxygen demand(COD) and ammonia nitrogen(NH 3-N) loads were estimated.Results showed that COD loads of point source and nonpoint source were 134 958 t/yr and 86 209 t/yr, accounting for 61.02% and 38.98% of total loads, respectively.NH 3-N loads of point source and nonpoint source were 16 739 t/yr and 14 272 t/yr, accounting for 53.98% and 46.02%, respectively.Point source pollution was stronger than nonpoint source pollution in the study area at present.The water quality of upstream was better than that of downstream of the rivers and cities.It is indispensable to treat industrial wastewater and municipal sewage out of point sources, to adopt the best management practices to control diffuse pollutants from agricultural land and urban surface runoff in improving water quality of the Songhua River Basin.The revised S-P model can be successfully used to identify pollution source and quantify point source and nonpoint source loads by calibrating and validating. | YANG Yuhong YAN Baixing SHEN Wanbin | 2010 | Chinese Geographical Science2010,20,1: | 13 |

| 4 | An Integrated DEA Model Allowing Decomposition of Eco-Efficiency:A Case Study of China显示文摘A common feature of previous studies about the application of data envelopment analysis(DEA) to determine environmental and economic efficiencies is that the two were analyzed in separate models or frameworks. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the economic efficiency and environmental efficiency with a single model. This paper proposes an integrated DEA model, based on a modification of the directional distance function, which allows us to decompose the eco-efficiency(EE) into the economic efficiency(ECE) and environmental efficiency(ENE). The ECE characterizes the ability of gaining economic benefits while the ENE characterizes the ability to control pollutant emissions in production activities. Identification of ECE and ENE can help decision makers of different regions detect what kind of factor(economic inefficiency or environmental inefficiency) is the main source of eco-inefficiency. This can help decision makers more targeted to improve EE. To illustrate the feasibility of our approach, a case study of 30 regions in China is presented. The empirical results show that almost all regions have very high economic efficiencies. The environmental inefficiency is the main source of eco-inefficiency. The differences of environmental efficiencies lead to the differences of eco-efficiencies in the east, central and west areas, while the economic efficiencies do not have significant differences among these areas. | 8 | Distributionally Robust Optimal Dispatch of Offshore Wind Farm Cluster Connected by VSC-MTDC Considering Wind Speed Correlation显示文摘Multi-terminal voltage source converter-based highvoltage direct current(VSC-MTDC)transmission technology has become an important mode for connecting adjacent offshore wind farms(OWFs)to power systems.Optimal dispatch of an OWF cluster connected by the VSC-MTDC can improve economic operation under the uncertainty of wind speeds.A two-stage distributionally robust optimal dispatch(DROD)model for the OWF cluster connected by VSC-MTDC is established.The first stage in this model optimizes the unit commitment of wind turbines to minimize mechanical loss cost of units under the worst joint probability distribution(JPD)of wind speeds,while the second stage searches for the worst JPD of wind speeds in the ambiguity set(AS)and optimizes active power output of wind turbines to minimize the penalty cost of the generation deviation and active power loss cost of the system.Based on the Kullback–Leibler(KL)divergence distance,a data-driven AS is constructed to describe the uncertainty of wind speed,considering the correlation between wind speeds of adjacent OWFs in the cluster by their joint PD.The original solution of the two-stage DROD model is transformed into the alternating iterative solution of the master problem and the sub-problem by the column-and-constraint generation(C&CG)algorithm,and the master problem is decomposed into a mixedinteger linear programming and a continuous second-order cone programming by the generalized Benders decomposition method to improve calculation efficiency.Finally,case studies on an actual OWF cluster with three OWFs demonstrate the correctness and efficiency of the proposed model and algorithm. | Xiangyong Feng Shunjiang Lin Wanbin Liu Weikun Liang Mingbo Liu | 2023 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2023,9,3: | 2 |

| 17 | Regulating the nanoscale intimacy of metal and acidic sites in Ru/γ-Al_(2)O_(3)for the selective conversions of lignin-derived phenols to jet fuels显示文摘Catalytic hydrodeoxygenation(HDO)of biomass-derived oxy-compounds to advanced hydrocarbon fuels usually requires bifunctional catalysts containing metals and acidic sites.The appropriate tuning of metal and/or acidic active sites at interfaces of bifunctional catalysts can significantly improve catalyst activity and product selectivity.Here,4-trifuoromethyl salicylic acid(TFMSA),as a hydrothermal stable organic acid,was employed to tailor the bifunctional interface of Ru/γ-Al_(2)O_(3)to enhance the catalytic performance on converting lignin-derived phenols to jet fuel range cycloalkanes.More than 80%phenol was converted into cyclohexane at 230°C for 1 h over Ru/γ-Al_(2)O_(3)modified by TFMSA,which was about three times higher than that over unmodified Ru/γ-Al_(2)O_(3).X-ray diffraction(XRD),Transmission electron microscope(TEM),H2 chemisorption,and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS)elemental mapping results indicated that Ru nanoparticles and TFMSA were well distributed onγ-Al_(2)O_(3),and a nanoscale intimacy between Ru and TFMSA was reached.Meanwhile,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy after pyridine adsorption(Py-FT-IR)analysis proved that Brønsted acidic sites on the catalytic interfaces of TFMSA modified Ru/γ-Al_(2)O_(3)had been improved.Moreover,the kinetic and density functional theory(DFT)results suggested that the synergistic effects of adjacent Ru nanoparticles and acidic sites were crutial for promoting the rate-limiting conversion step of phenol HDO to cyclohexane. | Shanshuai Chen Weichen Wang Xue Li Puxiang Yan Wanying Han Tian Sheng Tiansheng Deng Wanbin Zhu Hongliang Wang | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,3: | 1 |
