1Adsorption refrigeration-green cooling driven by low grade thermal energy显示文摘As a type of environmental benign refrigera- tion technology powered by low grade thermal energy, ad- sorption refrigeration have aroused more and more at- tention in recent years. In this paper, the research frontiers of adsorption refrigeration, including adsorbent, adsorption theory, heat recovery process, technology of adsorber, the research achievements, and the development achievements, are summarized. Typical systems foradsorption refrigeration research facing to applications in the recent years are pre- sented. 2ESTIMATION OF RESIDUAL CONTACT PRESSURE IN HYDRAULICALLY EXPANDED CRA-LINED PIPE显示文摘The mechanically bonded CRA-lined pipe is developed to meet the need for corrosion-resistant alloy steel pipe. Residual contact pressure at the interface of lined pipe is important factor that governs the quality of lined pipe. A simplified theoretical method is presented to predict the residual contact pressure created by hydraulic pressure. The calculating equation related hydro-forming pressure to the residual contact pressure between two metal faces is derived. 4HYDROFORMING OF BIMETALLIC LINED PIPE显示文摘A new hydroforming process for manufacturing corrosion-resistant-alloy (CRA)-lined pipe is proposed to overcome the disadvantages in existing technologies, and a new kind of hydraulic expansion device for bimetallic CRA-lined pipe has been researched and developed. Its operational principal and technical characteristic is also introduced. The stress and strain in the liner and outer pipe during the hydroforming process have been analyzed and the mechanism of hydraulic expansion method is studied theoretically. The final forming pressure formula is suggested and the theoretical analysis is verified by experimental investigation. 5Experimental investigation of integrated air purifying technology for bioaerosol removal and inactivation in central air-conditioning system显示文摘In this research, high voltage static electricity and ultraviolet technologies were integrated to an air purifying device which can be used to trap and kill airborne bacteria and viruses in central air-conditioning systems. An experimental platform was built to mimic the central air system, in which the efficacy of the newly built device was examined. In addition to the standard physical and chemical tests, bacteriophages were used to simulate airborne viruses in the experimental system. The bacteriophage suspension was aerosolized into the air with ultrasonic wave atomization.The result showed that more than 86% removal efficiency of micro-particles (<10 micron in diameter) were removed after the device was in operation in a building and more than 95% of bacteriophages in the experimental system.
