Carbon and oxygen isotopes analyses for the Sinian carbonates in the Helan Mountain, North China显示文摘We conducted detailed studies of the Sinian carbonates from the Helan Mountain,Ningxia by both field investigation and laboratory analyses of carbon and oxygen isotopes. The carbon isotopic compositions of the Sinian Zhengmuguan Formation shows variations with regularity in the five studied sections,theδ13C values all gradually decrease from bottom to top, with a total range from 4.51‰to 0.11‰,and the biggest negative excursion reaches up to 6.88‰.In addition, abundant macro-body fossils were also found from the Tuerkeng Formation in this study, similar to those found from the Dengying Formation in the South China Block. This observation firmly constrained the age for the Zhengmuguan and Tuerkeng formations to the Sinian period. Here we interpreted that the Zhengmuguan Formation formed during a glacial period when the extremely cold climate substantially decreased the amount of burial of organic matter in the ocean and thus led to the general negativeδ13C excursion. The increasingδ13C values in the Tuerkeng Formation dolomites imply the ending of the glacial period in the Zhengmuguan epoch, biological recovery and increase of organic matter burial in the ocean occurred during this period.Comparing our obtained carbon and oxygen isotopes of the Zhengmuguan and Tuerkeng formations with those of coeval carbonate successions from other places all over the world, the Zhengmuguang-aged glacial deposits might be deposited after the Gaskiers glaciation. This study provides important information for paleo-ocean,paleogeographic and biological evolution in the North China Block during the Ediacaran period and adds new carbon and oxygen isotopes data for the global Sinian carbon-oxygen isotopes dataset.YANG Jie ZENG ZuoXun CAI XiongFei LI ZhiYong LI TianBin MENG Fang HE WenJian 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,32:8
Estimation of the Aerosol Radiative Effect over the Tibetan Plateau Based on the Latest CALIPSO Product显示文摘Based on the CALIPSO(Cloud–Aerosol Lidar and Infrared Pathfinder Satellite Observation) Version 4.10 products released on 8 November 2016, the Level 2(L2) aerosol product over the Tibetan Plateau(TP) is evaluated and the aerosol radiative effect is also estimated in this study. As there are still some missing aerosol data points in the daytime CALIPSO Version 4.10 L2 product, this study re-calculated the aerosol extinction coefficient to explore the aerosol radiative effect over the TP based on the CALIPSO Level 1(L1) and CloudSat 2 B-CLDCLASS-LIDAR products. The energy budget estimation obtained by using the AODs(aerosol optical depths) from calculated aerosol extinction coefficient as an input to a radiative transfer model shows better agreement with the Earth's Radiant Energy System(CERES) and CloudSat 2 B-FLXHR-LIDAR observations than that with the input of AODs from aerosol extinction coefficient from CALIPSO Version 4.10 L2 product. The radiative effect and heating rate of aerosols over the TP are further simulated by using the calculated aerosol extinction coefficient. The dust aerosols may heat the atmosphere by retaining the energy in the layer. The instantaneous heating rate can be as high as 5.5 K day^(–1) depending on the density of the dust layers. Overall, the dust aerosols significantly affect the radiative energy budget and thermodynamic structure of the air over the TP, mainly by altering the shortwave radiation budget. The significant influence of dust aerosols over the TP on the radiation budget may have important implications for investigating the atmospheric circulation and future regional and global climate.Rui JIA Yuzhi LIU Shan HUA Qingzhe ZHU Tianbin SHAO 2018Journal of Meteorological Research2018,32,5:7
Dynamic cell transition and immune response landscapes of axolotl limb regeneration revealed by single-cell analysis显示文摘Dear Editor,The axolotl,Ambystoma mexicanum, has extraordinary capability to fully recover multiple tissues after lost, whereas such capability has disappeared in mammals.Thus,deci-phering detailed mechanisms underlying axolotl regenera-tion could provide valuable lessons for regenerative medicine. However, many questions, such as the origin of essential progenitor cells and key responses of individual types of cells for regeneration remain elusive(Haas and Whited,2017).Newly developed single-cell RNA sequenc-ing(scRNA-seq)method enables researchers to observe cellular and molecular dynamics in axolotl regeneration at the single-cell resolution(Gerber et al.,2018;Leigh et al.,2018),but the reported transcriptome landscapes are only for certain cell types or in certain regenerative stages.A complete overview of the regeneration process for all cell types is still lacking.Hanbo Li Xiaoyu Wei Li Zhou Weiqi Zhang Chen Wang Yang Guo Denghui Li Jjianyang Chen Tianbin Liu Yingying Zhang Shuai Ma Congyan Wang Fujian Tan Jiangshan Xu Yang Liu Yue Yuan Liang Chen Qiaoran Wang Jing Qu Yue Shen Shanshan Liu Guangyi Fan Longqi Liu Xin Liu Yong Hou Guang-Hui Liu Ying Gu Xun Xu 2021Protein & Cell2021,12,1:3
DISPERSION AND NUCLEATION FOR ULTRAFINE PARTICLES OF SILICA AND SILICATE IN POLY(ETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE) BASED COMPOSITES显示文摘In this paper, the dispersion and nucleation behavior of ultrafine particles of silica and layered silicate (LS)in poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) matrix are investigated and characterized by Transmission Electron Microscopy(TEM), Wide Angle X-ray Diffraction (WAXD), Dynamic Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), and Atomic Force Microscopy(AFM). The solid precursors based on silica and LS are suggested originally for preparing nanocomposites with good dispersion morphology. Results show that the initial sub-micron (1000~500 nm) LS particles are exfoliated or dispersed into nanometer-scale particles (30~70 nm) during their polymerization with PET monomers. These dispersed nanoparticles form an ordered morphology in their nucleation and growth during annealing nanocomposites. DSC patterns reveal that the double melting peaks of annealed PET-LS nanocomposites disappear, while they have shrunken in PET-silica ones. These findings strongly demonstrate that the dispersed nanoparticles accelerate the crystallization of PET. The dispersed LS particles have higher percolation and nucleation performance than those of silica. The homogeneous distribution morphology of ultrafine particles is easily obtained by controlling the load of their corresponding precursors. Such a dispersion obviously improves PET properties in that its heat distortion temperature (HDT)increases from 76℃ to 103℃, and crystallization increases 2~4 times more than that of PET. Especially, the nanocomposite films keep themselves transparent when particle load is within 2 wt.% though there are 3 wt.% or so of agglomerated particles in the nanocomposites.Yangchuan Ke* , Tianbin Wu, Cunji Yan and Chunming Xu State Key Laboratory of Heavy Oil Processing, University of Petroleum, Beijing 102200, P. 5Anthropogenic Aerosol Pollution over the Eastern Slope of the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘In this study, a combination of satellite observations and reanalysis datasets is used to analyze the spatiotemporal distribution, classification and source of pollutants over the eastern slope of the Tibetan Plateau(ESTP). The aerosol optical depth(AOD) over the ESTP is extremely large and even larger than some important industrialized regions and deserts. The main aerosol component over the ESTP is sulfate, followed by carbonaceous and dust aerosols. Local emissions related to human activity directly contribute to the accumulation of sulfate and carbonaceous aerosols over the Sichuan Basin. In addition, in spring, abundant carbonaceous aerosols emitted from forest, grassland and savanna fires in Southeast Asia can be transported by the prevailing southwesterly wind to southern China and the ESTP. The dust AOD over the ESTP peaks in spring because of the transport from the Taklimakan and Gobi deserts. Additionally, the high aerosol loading over the ESTP is also directly related to the meteorological background. Due to the special topography, the terrain-driven circulation can trap aerosols in the Sichuan Basin and these aerosols can climb along the ESTP due to the perennial updraft. The aerosol loading is lowest in summer because of effective wet deposition induced by the strong precipitation and better dispersion conditions due to the larger vertical temperature gradients and ascending air movement enhanced by the plateau heat pump effect. In contrast, the aerosol loading is greatest in winter. Abundant anthropogenic aerosols over the ESTP may generate some climatic and environmental risks and consequently greatly influence the downstream regions.Rui JIA Min LUO Yuzhi LIU Qingzhe ZHU Shan HUA Chuqiao WU Tianbin SHAO 2019Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2019,36,8:2
Hippocampal and thalamic neuronal metabolism in a putative rat model of schizophrenia°显示文摘The transcription factor early growth response protein 3(EGR3)is involved in schizophrenia. We developed a putative rat model of schizophrenia by transfecting lentiviral particles carrying the Egr3gene into bilateral hippocampal dentate gyrus. We assessed spatial working memory using the Morris water maze test, and neuronal metabolite levels in bilateral hippocampus and thalamus were determined by 3.0 T proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy.Choline content was significantly greater in the hippocampus after transfection, while N-acetylaspartate and the ratio of N-acetylaspartate to creatine/phosphocreatine in the thalamus were lower than in controls. This study is the first to report evaluation of brain metabolites using 3.0 T proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy in rats transfected with Egr3,and reveals metabolic abnormalities in the hippocampus and thalamus in this putative model of schizophrenia.Guolin Ma Tianbin Song Min Chen Yuan Fu Yong Xu Ensen Ma Wu Wang Jiang Du Mingxiong Huang 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,26:2
Integrated lens auto-focus system driven by a nut-type ultrosonic motor (USM)显示文摘This paper introduces an integrated optical auto-focus system driven by a nut-type ultrasonic motor (USM). The system comprises an optical lens as a rotor (M6 or M7), a polyhedral tube of copper as a stator; an image sensor, and a driver IC of the motor. The sizes of the AF (auto-focus) module are 8.5 mm×8.5 mm×5.9 mm. The piezoelectric elements are bonded on the external surface of the stator. The rotor has external screw thread that engages with the inner screw thread of the stator. When the piezoelectric elements are excited by the driver IC, a bend traveling wave in plane is generated on the stator along the circle direction, that drives the lens rotor to rotate and then to move axially. The driver IC is controlled by an image feedback of an image sensor centered on the axis of the casing, then the optical focusing is realized. The power consumption is zero at rest and is less than 0.25 W in motion; focusing precision <10 μm; speed >3 r/s(180 r/min); response <10 ms; high reliability: resistant to shock and fall off; directly driven by the driver IC without transmission mechanism; the friction force is namely the driving force and noiseless. The integrated optical auto-focus system is very useful, especially for cellular phones. The image resolution of 3―5 MP has been obtained in the module prototypes of the cellular phone.ZHOU TieYing CHEN Yu LU CunYue FU DeYong HU XiaoPing LI Yi TIANBin 2009Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,9:2
A Physical Simulation Test for the RockBurst in Tunnels显示文摘According to the test results of the physical and mechanical properties of similar materials in various quality mixture, a type of material with obvious tendency of rockburst was selected to produce a large-size model to simulate rockburst phenomena in tunnels. The prototype model comes from a typical section of diversion tunnels in Jinping Hydropower Station in China. The simulation of excavating tunnels is carried out by opening a hole in the model after loading. The modeling results indicated that under the condition of normal stresses in the model boundaries the arch top, spandrel and side walls of the tunnel produced an obvious jump reaction of stress and strain and the acoustic emission counts of the surrounding rock also increased rapidly in a different time period after the 'tunnel' excavation, showing the clear features of rockburst. The spalling, buckling and breaking occurred in the surrounding rock of model in conditions of over loading. It is concluded that the modeling tunnel segment in Jinping Hydropower Station is expected to form the tensile rockburst with the pattern of spalling, buckling and breaking.LI Tianbin WANG Xiangfeng MENG Lubo 2011Journal of Mountain Science2011,8,2:2

Tracking maneuvering target based on neural fuzzy network with incremental neural leaning显示文摘The scheme for tracking maneuvering target bas ed on neural fuzzy network with incremental neural learning is proposed. When trac ked target maneuver occurs, the scheme can detect maneuver immediately and estimate the maneuver value accurately , then the tracking filter can be compensated correctly and duly by the estimated maneuver value. When environment changes, neural fuzzy network with incremental neural learning (INL-SONFIN) can find its optimal structure and parameters automatically to adopt to changed environment. So, it always produce estimated output very close to the true maneuver value that leads to good tracking performance and avoids miss-tracking. Sim ulation results show that the performance is superior to the traditional schemes and the scheme can fit changed dynamic environment to track maneuvering target accurately and duly.Liu Mei Quan Taifan Yao Tianbin 2006Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2006,17,2:1
