| 1 | ^(7)Be and^(210)Pb radioactivity and implications on sources of surface ozone at Mt.Waliguan显示文摘Beryllium-7 (7Be) and lead-210 (210Pb) radioac- tivity in aerosols collected, from October 2002 to January 2004 at Mt. Waliguan, by the Global Atmospheric Watch (GAW) Station, Qinghai Province is presented. The data were analyzed together with simultaneously measured surface ozone concentrations. We found that short time variations of 7Be and 210Pb were linked to alternations of synoptic weather around the Mt. Waliguan region. 210Pb showed the lowest concentration in summer while Be showed no obvious sea- 7 sonal changes. Relatively high Be and 7 210 Pb radioactivity was observed at Mt. Waliguan when compared with the ob- servations at other mountain sites in other parts of the world. Surface ozone and 7Be showed a consistent seasonalvariation. Surface ozone correlated fairly well with 7Be/210Pb ratio. This suggested that vertical transport from higher altitudes of the atmosphere has predominant effects on the budget of surface ozone at Mt. | 5 | Investigation on thermo-mechanical behavior of reinforced concrete energy pile with large cross-section in saturated sandy soil by model experiments显示文摘Energy piles are a new type of heat exchange systems with buried pipes in a pile foundation,which optimize a ground source heat pump system for the utilization of shallow geothermal energy.In this study,based on the principle of similarity,the thermo-mechanical behavior of the model energy pile with a large cross-section in saturated sandy soil was experimentally evaluated.The pre-cast model concrete pile with a diameter of 0.2 m and length of 1.5 m was buried in saturated sand in a steel box with dimensions of 2.5 m×2.5 m×2.0 m(length×width×height).The pile was heated using water in the polyethylene(PE)pipe,which was connected to a water cycle temperature controller.At a constant inlet water temperature of 55℃,three thermal cycles were carried out with the same heating and cooling periods and different water flow rates.The temperature distributions in the pile and soil,in addition to the pore pressure,soil pressure,and displacement of the pile,were monitored to clarify the thermo-mechanical behavior of the pile and soil.The heat transfer efficiency was analyzed based on the temperature difference and water flow rates.The measured strain at different locations in the pile under cyclic thermal loading revealed that the uneven strain that developed in a pile body should be considered for its long-term application.Furthermore,focus should be directed toward the long-term unrecoverable displacement of the energy pile due to the thermal plastic strain and thermal consolidation of the soil. | Xiaohua Bao Yubo Li Tangjie Feng Hongzhi Cui Xiangsheng Chen | 2020 | Underground Space2020,5,3: | 1 |

| 8 | Virtual strain loading method for low temperature cohesive failure of asphalt binder显示文摘Cohesive failure is one of the primary reasons for low-temperature cracking in asphalt pavements.Understanding the micro-level mechanism is crucial for comprehending cohesive failure behavior.However,previous literature has not fully reported on this aspect.Moreover,there has been insufficient attention given to the correlation between macroscopic and microscopic failures.To address these issues,this study employed molecular dynamics simulation to investigate the low-temperature tensile behavior of asphalt binder.By applying virtual strain,the separation work during asphalt binder tensile failure was calculated.Additionally,a correlation between macroscopic and microscopic tensile behaviors was established.Specifically,a quadrilateral asphalt binder model was generated based on SARA fractions.By applying various combinations of virtual strain loading,the separation work at tensile failure was determined.Furthermore,the impact of strain loading combinations on separation work was analyzed.Normalization was employed to establish the correlation between macroscopic and microscopic tensile behaviors.The results indicated that thermodynamic and classical mechanical indicators validated the reliability of the tetragonal asphalt binder model.The strain loading combination consists of strain rate and loading number.All strain loading combinations exhibited the similar tensile failure characteristic.The critical separation strain was hardly influenced by strain loading combination.However,increasing strain rate significantly enhanced both the maximum traction stress and separation work of the asphalt binder.An increment in the loading number led to a decrease in separation work.The virtual strain combination of 0.5%-80 provided a more accurate representation of the actual asphalt's tensile behavior trend. | Heyang Ding Hainian Wang Ziye Ma Zhen Leng Ponan Feng Tangjie Wang Xin Qu | 2023 | Journal of Road Engineering2023,3,3: | 0 |
