2Nonlinear evolution of turbulent spots in the near-wall shear flow显示文摘The initial model of turbulent spots with the wall disturbance using the pulse form was proposed. A group of three-dimensional coupling compact difference schemes with high accuracy and high resolution were developed, and implemented to simulate the formation and development of turbulent spots in the near-wall shear flow by means of direct numerical simulation of the Navier-Stokes equations. 3Evolution of the vortex structures and turbulent spots at the late-stage of transitional boundary layers显示文摘The nonlinear evolution process of new vortex structures at the late-stage of the transition, including the 3-D spatial structure of barrel-shaped vortex and 'dark spots' structure observed by experiment research, has been confirmed by our computational results. The formation mechanisms of these structures have been explored. 6CALCULATION OF THREE DIMENSIONAL BOUNDARY LAYER EQUATIONS USING DIFFERENTIAL QUADRATURE METHOD显示文摘An extended differential quadrature method is used to compute nonlinear partial differential equations for tbree-dimensional laminar boundary layer now in this paPer. The key technique to differential quadrature, which is used in determining weighting coefficients for discretization of any order partial derivative, is investigated. The method of computing different weighting coefficients is presented. Three dimensional boundary layer equations are discretized by the differential quadrature method, and relative formula is obtained.
