3Extracting bulk defect parameters in silicon wafers using machine learning models显示文摘The performance of high-efficiency silicon solar cells is limited by the presence of bulk defects.Identification of these defects has the potential to improve cell performance and reliability.The impact of bulk defects on minority carrier lifetime is commonly measured using temperature-and injection-dependent lifetime spectroscopy and the defect parameters,such as its energy level and capture cross-section ratio,are usually extracted by fitting the Shockley-Read-Hall equation.We propose an alternative extraction approach by using machine learning trained on more than a million simulated lifetime curves,achieving coefficient of determinations between the true and predicted values of the defect parameters above 99%.In particular,random forest regressors,show that defect energy levels can be predicted with a high precision of±0.02 eV,87% of the time.The traditional approach of fitting to the Shockley-Read-Hall equation usually yields two sets of defect parameters,one in each half bandgap.The machine learning model is trained to predict the half bandgap location of the energy level,and successfully overcome the traditional approach’s limitation.The proposed approach is validated using experimental measurements,where the machine learning predicts defect energy level and capture cross-section ratio within the uncertainty range of the traditional fitting method.The successful application of machine learning in the context of bulk defect parameter extraction paves the way to more complex data-driven physical models which have the potential to overcome the limitation of traditional approaches and can be applied to other materials such as perovskite and thin film.Yoann Buratti Quoc Thong Le Gia Josef Dick Yan Zhu Ziv Hameiri 2020npj Computational Materials2020,,1:0
4Picture-Neutrosophic Trusted Safe Semi-Supervised Fuzzy Clustering for Noisy Data显示文摘Clustering is a crucial method for deciphering data structure and producing new information.Due to its significance in revealing fundamental connections between the human brain and events,it is essential to utilize clustering for cognitive research.Dealing with noisy data caused by inaccurate synthesis from several sources or misleading data production processes is one of the most intriguing clustering difficulties.Noisy data can lead to incorrect object recognition and inference.This research aims to innovate a novel clustering approach,named Picture-Neutrosophic Trusted Safe Semi-Supervised Fuzzy Clustering(PNTS3FCM),to solve the clustering problem with noisy data using neutral and refusal degrees in the definition of Picture Fuzzy Set(PFS)and Neutrosophic Set(NS).Our contribution is to propose a new optimization model with four essential components:clustering,outlier removal,safe semi-supervised fuzzy clustering and partitioning with labeled and unlabeled data.The effectiveness and flexibility of the proposed technique are estimated and compared with the state-of-art methods,standard Picture fuzzy clustering(FC-PFS)and Confidence-weighted safe semi-supervised clustering(CS3FCM)on benchmark UCI datasets.The experimental results show that our method is better at least 10/15 datasets than the compared methods in terms of clustering quality and computational time.Pham Huy Thong Florentin Smarandache Phung The Huan Tran Manh Tuan Tran Thi Ngan Vu Duc Thai Nguyen Long Giang Le Hoang Son 2023Computer Systems Science & Engineering2023,46,8:0
5Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor reduces biliary fibrosis and ductular reaction in a mouse model of chronic cholestasis显示文摘Background:Biliary atresia is a rare congenital bile duct disease that is the leading cause of liver fibrosis in neonates.Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(GCSF)is a potential therapy for hepatocellular diseases,but data on GCSF for cholestatic conditions remain limited.Materials and methods:The current study examines the role of GCSF in improving bile duct obstruction in mice.Two doses were administered:10.0 mg/kg/day and 61.5 mg/kg/day,which is the animal equivalent dose of 5.0 mg/kg in humans.Seven days(D7)after bile duct ligation(BDL),Swiss mice were treated with phosphate buffered saline or GCSF for 5 days.The intrahepatic adaptive response of BDL mice was evaluated on postsurgical days D12,D19,and D26.Results:Treatment with 61.5 mg/kg of GCSF resulted in a significant increase in circulating leukocytes and neutrophils on D12.Amelioration of liver injury,as shown by reduced aspartate aminotransferase levels,increased albumin levels and survival rate,as well as reduced intrahepatic inflammation and hepatic myeloperoxidase expression,downregulated ductular proliferation,periportal fibroblast activation,and fibrosis,enhanced expressions of hepatocyte growth factor,peroxisome proliferator-activated receptoralpha,and ki67,and suppressed expression of cleaved caspase-3 protein,was noted after treatment with 61.5 mg/kg of GCSF.Additionally,GCSF treatment was associated with an increased number of intrahepatic cd3-Sca1tc-Kitt bone marrow cells.Trinh Van Le Thanh Minh Dang Huy Quang Do Ai-Xuan Le Holterman Hong-Thuy Phan-Thi Thong Tan Tran Nhung Hai Truong 2023Liver Research2023,7,1:0
