| 1 | Simultaneous recovery of carbon and sulfur resources from reduction of CO_2 with H_2S using catalysts显示文摘An approach to the simultaneous reclamation of carbon and sulfur resources from CO_2 and H_2S has been proposed and effectively implemented with the aid of catalysts. A brief thermodynamic study reveals the potential of direct reduction of CO_2 with H_2S(15:15 mol% balanced with N_2) for selective production of CO and elemental sulfur. The experiments carried out in a fixed-bed flow reactor over the temperature range of 400–800 °C give evidence of the importance of the employment of catalysts. Both the conversions of the reactants and the selectivities of the target products can be substantially promoted over most catalysts studied. Nevertheless, little difference appears among their catalytic performance. The results also prove that the presence of CO_2 can remarkably enhance H_2S conversion and the sulfur yield in comparison with H_2S direct decomposition. A longtime reaction test on Mg O catalyst manifests its superior durability at high temperature(700 °C) and huge gas hourly space velocity(100,000 h-1). | 2 | A novel graphene oxide-carbon nanotubes anchored α-FeOOH hybrid activated persulfate system for enhanced degradation of Orange Ⅱ显示文摘Persulfate activation has been applied as one of the efficient advanced oxidation processes(AOPs) to remediate polluted environments. In this study, a novel α-FeOOH anchored by graphene oxide(GO)-carbon nanotubes(CNTs) aerogel(α-FeOOH@GCA) nanocomposite activated persulfate system(α-FeOOH@GCA + K2S2O8) was applied for decolorization of Orange Ⅱ(OⅡ). The decolorization of OⅡ was remarkably enhanced to a level of ~ 99% in this system compared with that of pristine α-FeOOH(~ 44%) or GO-CNTs(~18%). The enhanced catalytic activity of α-FeOOH@GCA was due to the formation of a heterojunction byα-FeOOH and GO-CNTs as confirmed by the presence of Fe–O–C chemical bonds. The degradation intermediates of OⅡ were comprehensively identified. The proposed degradation pathway of OⅡ begins with the destruction of the conjugated structures of OⅡ by the dominant reactive oxygen species, surface-bound SO4·-. The decolorization efficiency of OⅡ by the α-FeOOH@GCA activated persulfate system decreased from the first to third cycle of recycling. Ultraviolet(UV) irradiation or introduction of a small amount of Fe2+ could restore the activation of this system. | 3 | Digital surface model applied to unmanned aerial vehicle based photogrammetry to assess potential biotic or abiotic effects on grapevine canopies显示文摘Accurate data acquisition and analysis to obtain crop canopy information are critical steps to understand plant growth dynamics and to assess the potential impacts of biotic or abiotic stresses on plant development.A versatile and easy to use monitoring system will allow researchers and growers to improve the follow-up management strategies within farms once potential problems have been detected.This study reviewed existing remote sensing platforms and relevant information applied to crops and specifically grapevines to equip a simple Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)using a visible high definition RGB camera.The objective of the proposed Unmanned Aerial System(UAS)was to implement a Digital Surface Model(DSM)in order to obtain accurate information about the affected or missing grapevines that can be attributed to potential biotic or abiotic stress effects.The analysis process started with a three-dimensional(3D)reconstruction from the RGB images collected from grapevines using the UAS and the Structure from Motion(SfM)technique to obtain the DSM applied on a per-plant basis.Then,the DSM was expressed as greyscale images according to the halftone technique to finally extract the information of affected and missing grapevines using computer vision algorithms based on canopy cover measurement and classification.To validate the automated method proposed,each grapevine row was visually inspected within the study area.The inspection was then compared to the digital assessment using the proposed UAS in order to validate calculations of affected and missing grapevines for the whole studied vineyard.Results showed that the percentage of affected and missing grapevines was 9.5%and 7.3%,respectively from the area studied.Therefore,for this specific study,the abiotic stress that affected the experimental vineyard(frost)impacted a total of 16.8%of plants.This study provided a new method for automatically surveying affected or missing grapevines in the field and an evaluation tool for plant growth conditions,which can be implemented for other uses such as canopy management,irrigation scheduling and other precision agricultural applications. | Su Baofeng Xue Jinru Xie Chunyu Fang Yulin Song Yuyang Sigfredo Fuentes | 2016 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,6: | 3 |

| 18 | Segmentation of field grape bunches via an improved pyramid scene parsing network显示文摘With the continuous expansion of wine grape planting areas,the mechanization and intelligence of grape harvesting have gradually become the future development trend.In order to guide the picking robot to pick grapes more efficiently in the vineyard,this study proposed a grape bunches segmentation method based on Pyramid Scene Parsing Network(PSPNet)deep semantic segmentation network for different varieties of grapes in the natural field environments.To this end,the Convolutional Block Attention Module(CBAM)attention mechanism and the atrous convolution were first embedded in the backbone feature extraction network of the PSPNet model to improve the feature extraction capability.Meanwhile,the proposed model also improved the PSPNet semantic segmentation model by fusing multiple feature layers(with more contextual information)extracted by the backbone network.The improved PSPNet was compared against the original PSPNet on a newly collected grape image dataset,and it was shown that the improved PSPNet model had an Intersection-over-Union(IoU)and Pixel Accuracy(PA)of 87.42%and 95.73%,respectively,implying an improvement of 4.36%and 9.95%over the original PSPNet model.The improved PSPNet was also compared against the state-of-the-art DeepLab-V3+and U-Net in terms of IoU,PA,computation efficiency and robustness,and showed promising performance.It is concluded that the improved PSPNet can quickly and accurately segment grape bunches of different varieties in the natural field environments,which provides a certain technical basis for intelligent harvesting by grape picking robots. | Shan Chen Yuyang Song Jinya Su Yulin Fang Lei Shen Zhiwen Mi Baofeng Su | 2021 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,6: | 0 |
