1Distribution and relationship between antimicrobial resistance genes and heavy metals in surface sediments of Taihu Lake,China显示文摘Heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, and other wastes released into the environment can significantly influence environmental antibiotic resistance. We investigated the occurrence of 22 antimicrobial resistance genes(ARGs) and 10 heavy metal concentrations, and the relationship between ARGs and heavy metals in surface sediment from seven sites of Lake Taihu. The results showed significant correlations(p < 0.05) between sediment ARG levels,especially for tetracycline and sulfonamides(e.g., tet(A), tet(D), tet(E), tet(O), sul1, sul2 and int-1) and specific heavy metals(Fe, Mn, Cr, Cu, Zn, among others) in the Lake. In the surface sediments, heavy metals showed an interaction with resistance genes, but the strength of interaction was diminished with increasing depth. For most of the heavy metals, the concentration of elements in the top sediments was higher than that in other depths.Tetracycline resistance genes(tet(A), tet(B), tet(D), tet(E) and tet(O), β-lactam resistance genes(SHV, TEM, CTX, OXA and OXY) and sulfonamide resistance genes(sulA, sul1, sul2, sul3 and int-1) were detected. They showed a trend which inferred a statistically significant increase followed by decreases in the relative abundance of these ARGs(normalized to 16 S rRNA genes) with increasing depth. 2Conjugate heat transfer investigations of turbine vane based on transition models显示文摘The accurate simulation of boundary layer transition process plays a very important role in the prediction of turbine blade temperature field. Based on the Abu-Ghannam and Shaw (AGS) and c-Re h transition models, a 3D conjugate heat transfer solver is developed, where the fluid domain is discretized by multi-block structured grids, and the solid domain is discretized by unstructured grids. At the unmatched fluid/solid interface, the shape function interpolation method is adopted to ensure the conservation of the interfacial heat flux. Then the shear stress transport (SST) model, SST & AGS model and SST & c-Re h model are used to investigate the flow and heat transfer characteristics of Mark II turbine vane. The results indicate that compared with the full turbulence model (SST model), the transition models could improve the prediction accuracy of temperature and heat transfer coefficient at the laminar zone near the blade leading edge. 3Evaluation of numerical ablation model for charring composites显示文摘Charring composites are widely used in the thermal protection system(TPS) to consume the intense aerodynamic heating during vehicle reentry. The ablation and thermal responses for the charring composites can be studied by using a numerical ablation model, in which the surface ablation and volume ablation could be taken into account. The coupling interactions among temperature, gas motion and interior pressure producing the pyrolysis gas could make the computation more complicated. A multi-physics model is developed to simulate the thermal response coupled with volume ablation and surface ablation. After studying four typical ablation cases, the model is validated, and then the heat transfer mechanisms in ablation are investigated. It is found that the viscous dissipation energy by the motion of pyrolysis gas can be neglected in the simulation. 4High-order maximum-principle-preserving and positivity-preserving weighted compact nonlinear schemes for hyperbolic conservation laws显示文摘In this paper,the maximum-principle-preserving(MPP)and positivitypreserving(PP)flux limiting technique will be generalized to a class of high-order weighted compact nonlinear schemes(WCNSs)for scalar conservation laws and the compressible Euler systems in both one and two dimensions.The main idea of the present method is to rewrite the scheme in a conservative form,and then define the local limiting parameters via case-by-case discussion.Smooth test problems are presented to demonstrate that the proposed MPP/PP WCNSs incorporating a third-order Runge-Kutta method can attain the desired order of accuracy.Other test problems with strong shocks and high pressure and density ratios are also conducted to testify the performance of the schemes.Lingyan TANG Songhe SONG Hong ZHANG 2020Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2020,41,1:3
5Formation blockage risk analysis of geothermal water reinjection:Rock property analysis,pumping and reinjection tests,and long-term reinjection prediction显示文摘The blockage induced by particle migration and deposition is one of the main reasons for the decrease of reinjection capacity in the porous geothermal reservoir with a low and medium temperature.In this paper,a new drilled geothermal well in Xining basin China is taken as an example to investigate the formation blockage risk due to the movable clay and sand particles in pores.The physical properties of the reservoir rocks were analyzed,a series of pumping and reinjection tests were conducted,and the longterm reinjection performance of the well was predicted by numerical simulation based on the test fitting.The results show that the geothermal reservoir rocks are argillaceous and weakly cemented sandstones with a content of movable clay and sand particles up to 0.18–23.42 wt.%.The well presented a high productivity of 935–2186 m3?d-1 at a pressure difference of 0.7–1.62 MPa in the pumping tests associated with a large amount of clay and sand particles produced out,while in the reinjection test,only a low injectivity of 240–480 m3?d-1 was observed at an injection pressure of 0.2–0.6 MPa with the clay and sand particles near the wellbore move into deep.According to the prediction,under conditions of a blockage risk,the injectivity of the well will start to decline after 100 days of injection,and in the third year,it will decrease by 59.00%–77.09%.The influence of invasion of pretreated suspended particles and scale particles can be neglected.Under conditions of a high blockage risk,the injectivity of the well will decrease significantly in the first 20–30 days,with a decline of 75.39%–78.96%.Generally,the higher the injection pressure or rate,the greater the decrease in injectivity of the well caused by particle blockage.Pump lifting is an effective measure to remove the well blockage which can be used regularly.Liang Zhang Songhe Geng Linchao Yang Ronghua Wen Chuan He Zhen Zhao Guangxiong Qin 2022Geoscience Frontiers2022,13,1:3

7Electroacupuncture improves neuropathic pain Adenosine, adenosine 5'-triphosphate disodium and their receptors perhaps change simultaneously显示文摘Applying a stimulating current to acupoints through acupuncture needles-known as electroacupuncture-has the potential to produce analgesic effects in human subjects and experimental animals. When acupuncture was applied in a rat model, adenosine 5-triphosphate disodium in the extracellular space was broken down into adenosine, which in turn inhibited pain transmission by means of an adenosine A1 receptor-dependent process. Direct injection of an adenosine A1 receptor agonist enhanced the analgesic effect of acupuncture. The analgesic effect of acupuncture appears to be mediated by activation of A1 receptors located on ascending nerves. In neuropathic pain, there is upregulation of P2X purinoceptor 3 (P2X3) receptor expression in dorsal root ganglion neurons. Conversely, the onset of mechanical hyperalgesia was diminished and established hyperalgesia was significantly reversed when P2X3 receptor expression was downregulated. The pathways upon which electroacupuncture appear to act are interwoven with pain pathways, and electroacupuncture stimuli converge with impulses originating from painful areas. 8Bioavailability of heavy metals in soil of the Tieguanyin tea garden, southeastern China显示文摘The bioavailability of 22 heavy metals was investigated at 19 sampling sites in Tieguanyin tea garden in Anxi County,Fujian Province,southeastern China.Heavy metal concentrations were determined by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry(ICP-MS)and evaluated by geo-accumulation index(I_(geo)).Dilute nitric acid extraction was used to evaluate biological activity.Cu,Pb,and Cd were highly bioavailable and most easily absorbed by tea trees.Heavy metal bioavailability in the surface soil was as the ratio of the effective state to the total amount.Cd had the highest I_(geo)values,and the respective samples and sites were classified as moderately/strongly contaminated.Cd element is considered the main factor of heavy metal pollution in the tea garden in Anxi.The other heavy metals studied were present in lower concentrations;thus,the samples were classified as uncontaminated or slightly contaminated.Jingwei Sun Ruilian Yu Gongren Hu Songhe Jiang Yunfeng Zhang Xiaoming Wang 2017Acta Geochimica2017,36,3:2
9Bacterial succession in epiphytic biofilms and deciduous layer sediments during Hydrilla verticillata decay: A field investigation显示文摘Submersed macrophytes decay is an important natural process and has important role in mass and energy flow in aquatic ecosystems.However,little is known about the dynamical changes in nutrients release and bacterial community during submersed macrophyte decay in natural environment.In this study,a field observation was conducted in a wetland dominated with Hydrilla verticillata for 36 days.Increase of H2O2 and malondialdehyde(MDA)content and decrease of soluble proteins concentration were detected in leaves during H.verticillata decay.Meanwhile,ammonium-N,soluble microbial products(SMP)and TOC concentration increased in overlying water.According to bacterial 16 S r RNA Illumina sequencing analysis,the Shannon values were lower in epiphytic biofilms than deciduous layer sediments.The relative abundances of Proteobacteria,Cyanobacteria and Actinobacteria were higher in epiphytic biofilms than in deciduous layer sediments(P<0.05).Co-occurrence network analyses showed that a total of 578 and 845 pairs of correlations(|r|>0.6)were identified from 122 and 112 genera in epiphytic biofilms and deciduous layer sediments,respectively.According to co-occurrence patterns,eight hubs were mainly from phyla Proteobacteria,Acidobacteria and Parcubacteria in epiphytic biofilms;while 37 hubs from the 14 phyla(Proteobacteria,Bacteroidetes,Acidobacteria,Chloroflexi,et al.)were detected in deciduous layer sediments.Our results indicate that bacterial community in deciduous layer sediments was more susceptible than in epiphytic biofilms during decay process.These data highlight the role of microbial community in deciduous layer sediments on nutrients removal during H.verticillata decay and will provide useful information for wetland management.Tingting Si Hezhou Chen Zheng Qiu Lisha Zhang Okugbe Ebiotubo Ohore Songhe Zhang 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,7:2

11Valence electron structure and properties of the ZrO_2显示文摘To reveal the properties of ZrO2 at the atom and electron levels, the valence elec- tron structures of three ZrO2 phases were analyzed on the basis of the empirical electron theory of solids and molecules. The results showed that the hybridization levels of Zr and O atoms in the m-ZrO2 were the same as those in the t-ZrO2, while those in the c-ZrO2 rose markedly. The electron numbers and bond energies on the strongest covalent bonds in the m-ZrO2 phase were the greatest, the values were 0.901106 and 157.5933 kJ/mol, respectively. Those in the t-ZrO2 phase took second place, which were 0.722182 and 123.9304 kJ/mol, and those in the c-ZrO2 phase were the smallest, which were 0.469323 and 79.0289 kJ/mol. According to the product of the bond energy on the strongest covalent bond and equivalent bond number (this value reflected the crystal cohesive energy), the order from the greatness to smallness was the c-ZrO2> t-ZrO2 > m-ZrO2. This showed that the m-phase bonds were the tightest, their energy was the smallest, the crystal cohe- sive energy of the m-phase was the largest, and the m-phase existed most stably at room temperature. 12Effect of sericin on diabetic hippocampal growth hormone/insulin-like growth factor 1 axis显示文摘Previous studies have shown that sericin extracted from silk cocoon significantly reduces blood glucose levels and protects the nervous system against diabetes mellitus. In this study, a rat type 2 diabetes mellitus model was established by intraperitoneal injection of 25 mg/kg streptozotocin for 3 successive days, following which the rats were treated with sericin for 35 days. After treatment, the blood glucose levels of the diabetic rats decreased significantly, the growth hormone level in serum and its expression in the hippocampus decreased significantly, while the insulin-like growth factor-1 level in serum and insulin-like growth factor-1 and growth hormone receptor expression in the hippocampus increased significantly. 14Comparison of ablative and compressive mechanical behavior of several PICA-like ablative materials显示文摘It is significant to compare the ablative and compressive mechanical behavior of different PICA-like materials in the engineering applications.The plasma wind tunnel ablation tests with high-entropy air and CO2 atmospheres,and compressive experiments in the ambient and 150℃,were conducted for three kinds of PICA-like materials(CF/PR-Si,CBCF/PR-SiOC and NQF/PR-Si composites).The traditional carbon/phenolic(C/PR)braided composites were also used for comparison.PICA-like materials have the better thermal insulation than traditional C/PR composite,especially for CBCF/PR-SiOC composite.The ablation behavior of CF/PR-Si and CBCF/PR-SiOC PICA-like materials in the CO2 atmosphere can produce a large amount of SiO2 in the form of coatings,oxide layers and skeletons on the ablated surface,which are greatly different from that in the air atmosphere.The compressive behavior of PICA-like material is greatly depended on the fiber fabrics,and exhibits the large discrete characteristics.The longer fiber in the PICA-like materials plays the role in maintaining the material integrity,while it may increase the thermal conductivity.ZHANG Jun FANG GuoDong YANG LingWei LI Wei HONG ChangQing MENG SongHe 2020Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,8:2
