| 1 | Diabetes empowerment scores among type 2 diabetes mellitus patients and its correlated factors: A cross-sectional study in a primary care setting in Malaysia显示文摘BACKGROUND There are limited studies on diabetes empowerment among type 2 diabetes patients,particularly in the primary care setting.AIM To assess the diabetes empowerment scores and its correlated factors among type 2 diabetes patients in a primary care clinic in Malaysia.METHODS This is a cross sectional study involving 322 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(DM)followed up in a primary care clinic.Systematic sampling method was used for patient recruitment.The Diabetes Empowerment Scale(DES)questionnaire was used to measure patient empowerment.It consists of three domains:(1)Managing the psychosocial aspect of diabetes(9 items);(2)Assessing dissatisfaction and readiness to change(9 items);and(3)Setting and achieving diabetes goal(10 items).A score was considered high if it ranged from 100 to 140.Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 25 and multiple linear regressions was used to identify the predictors of total diabetes empowerment scores.RESULTS The median age of the study population was 55 years old.56%were male and the mean duration of diabetes was 4 years.The total median score of the DES was 110[interquartile range(IQR)=10].The median scores of the three subscales were 40 with(IQR=4)for'Managing the psychosocial aspect of diabetes';36 with(IQR=3)for'Assessing dissatisfaction and readiness to change';and 34 with(IQR=5)for'Setting and achieving diabetes goal'.According to multiple linear regressions,factors that had significant correlation with higher empowerment scores among type 2 diabetes patients included an above secondary education level(P<0.001),diabetes education exposure(P=0.003),lack of ischemic heart disease(P=0.017),and lower glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c)levels(P<0.001).CONCLUSION Diabetes empowerment scores were high among type 2 diabetes patients in this study population.Predictors for high empowerment scores included above secondary education level,diabetes education exposure,lack of ischemic heart disease status and lower HbA1c. | Thew Hui Zhu Ching Siew Mooi Nurainul Hana Shamsuddin Ching Siew Mooi | 2019 | World Journal of Diabetes2019,10,7: | 3 |
| 2 | 基于优化基流分割方法的基流时空变化及其驱动因素评估显示文摘Baseflow is an important component of river or streamflow.It plays a vital role in water utilization and management.An improved Eckhardt recursive digital filter(IERDF)is proposed in this study.The key filter parameter and maximum baseflow index(BFImax)were estimated using the minimum smoothing method to improve baseflow estimation accuracy.The generally considered BFImax of 0.80,0.50 and 0.25 according to the drainage basin’s predominant geological characteristics often leads to significant errors in the regions that have complex subsurface and hydrologic conditions.The IERDF improved baseflow estimation accuracy by avoiding arbitrary parameter values.The proposed method was applied for baseflow separation in the upstream of Yitong River,a tributary of the Second Songhua River,and its performance was evaluated by comparing the results obtained using isotope-tracer data.The performance of IERDF was also compared with nine baseflow separation techniques belonging to filter,BFI and HYSEP methods.The IERDF was also applied for baseflow separation and calculation of rainfall infiltration recharge coefficient at different locations along the Second Songhua River’s mainstream for the period 2000–2016.The results showed that the minimum smoothing method significantly improved BFImax estimation accuracy.The baseflow process line obtained using IEDRF method was consistent with that obtained using isotope 18 O.The IERDF estimated baseflow also showed stability and reliability when applied in the mainstream of the Second Songhua River.The BFI alone in the river showed an increase from the upstream to the downstream.The proportion of baseflow to total flow showed a decrease with time.The intra-annual variability of BFI was different at different locations of the river due to varying climatic conditions and subsurface characteristics.The highest BFI was observed at the middle reaches of the river in summer due to a water surplus from power generation.The research provided valuable information on baseflow characteristics and runoff mode determination,which can be used for water resources assessment and optimization of economic activity distribution in the region. | 孙嘉琪 王小军 Shamsuddin SHAHID 李鸿雁 | 2021 | Journal of Geographical Sciences2021,31,12: | 2 |

| 4 | 尿素中添加腐植酸、黄腐酸、重过磷酸钙和氯化钾能抑制氨的挥发显示文摘该试验比较了不同混合物,尿素-重过磷酸钙-氯化钾、尿素-重过磷酸钙-氯化钾-腐植酸、尿素-重过磷酸钙-氯化钾-黄腐酸、尿素-重过磷酸钙-氯化钾-酸性混合物(黄腐酸+腐植酸)在对氨损失,土壤pH值,铵态氮和可利用硝态氮积累等方面的影响,以尿素单独施用作为对照。方法:在实验室条件下,利用一个封闭式动态空气流量系统来评估是否混有重过磷酸钙、氯化钾、腐植酸、黄腐酸的情况下尿素的有效性。氨损失、土壤pH值、土壤中铵态氮以及可利用硝态氮是由标准程序测定的。结果:与对照组(单独施用尿素)相比,处理尿素-重过磷酸钙-氯化钾,尿素-重过磷酸钙-氯化钾-腐植酸,尿素-重过磷酸钙-氯化钾-黄腐酸,尿素-重过磷酸钙-氯化钾-酸性混合物(黄腐酸+腐植酸)中氨损失明显地减少,减少率由12.92%、20.12%、25.94%达到100%,土壤中的铵态氮也有类似的变化。从所有的处理来看,只有尿素-重过磷酸钙-氯化钾-黄腐酸,尿素-重过磷酸钙-氯化钾-酸性混合物(腐植酸+黄腐酸)明显地积累了土壤中可利用硝态氮,这一结果与本研究中pH值的结果一致。结论:尿素、重过磷酸钙、氯化钾中混合腐植酸或者酸性的腐植酸和黄腐酸混合物能够显著减少氨损失。这项研究结果有助于提高尿素中N,P,K使用的有效性,同时减少环境污染。 | Shamsuddin Rosliza Osumanu Haruna Ahmed Nik Muhamad Ab.Majid 张丽娜 宋丽艳 | 2010 | 腐植酸2010,,2: | 2 |
