| 1 | 利用单频双程波动方程计算初至走时及其振幅显示文摘通过在频率域双程波动方程模拟算法中加入一个复数频率(实部表示频率,虚部表示衰减因子)压制地震波初至走时之后的能量,从而把初至走时及其振幅的计算问题转换为单一频率波场中最大能量走时和振幅的拾取问题,然后利用单一频率域波场的相位项和振幅项分别计算初至走时及其振幅.本文还提出利用参数分析方法求取最优的复数频率,并给出数值计算例子,将本方法的计算结果与有限差分程函方程初至走时和最大能量走时振幅进行比较,结果表明,该方法具有适应于任意复杂介质和多炮多接收点走时和振幅的计算. | 秦义龙 张中杰 Shin Changsoo Seungwon Ko 陈赟 陈竞一 UkHan | 2005 | 地球物理学报2005,48,2: | 16 |
| 2 | Materials and devices for flexible and stretchable photodetectors and light-emitting diodes显示文摘Recently,significant efforts have been directed at overcoming the limitations of conventional rigid optoelectronic devices,particularly their poor mechanical stability under bending,folding,and stretching deformations.One of major approaches for rendering optoelectronic devices mechanically deformable is to replace the conventional electronic/optoelectronic materials with functional nanomaterials or organic materials that are intrinsically flexible/stretchable.Further,advanced device designs and unconventional fabrication methods have also contributed to the development of soft optoelectronic devices.Accordingly,new devices such as bio-inspired curved image sensors,wearable light emitting devices,and deformable bio-integrated optoelectronic devices have been developed.In this review,recent progress in the development of soft optoelectronic materials and devices is outlined.First,various materials such as nanomaterials,organic materials,and their hybrids that are suitable for developing deformable photodetectors,are presented.Then,the nanomaterials and organic/polymeric materials that are applicable in deformable light-emitting diodes are described.Finally,representative system-level applications of flexible and stretchable photodetectors and light-emitting diodes are reviewed,and future prospects are discussed. | Jun-Kyul Song Min Sung Kim Seungwon Yoo Ja Hoon Koo Dae-Hyeong Kim | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,9: | 2 |
| 3 | Social and geographical disparities in Twitter use during Hurricane Harvey显示文摘Socialmedia such as Twitter is increasingly beingused as an effective platform to observe human behaviors in disastrous events.However,uneven social media use among different groups of population in different regions could lead to biased consequences and affect disaster resilience.This paper studies the Twitter use during 2017 Hurricane Harvey in 76 counties in Texas and Louisiana.We seek to answer a fundamental question:did socialgeographical disparities of Twitter use exist during the three phases of emergency management(preparedness,response,recovery)?We employed a Twitter data mining framework to process the data and calculate two indexes:Ratio and Sentiment.Regression analyses between the Ratio indexes and the social-geographical characteristics of the counties at the three phrases reveal significant social and geographical disparities in Twitter use during Hurricane Harvey.Communities with higher disasterrelated Twitter use in Harvey generally were communities having better social and geographical conditions.These results of Twitter use patterns can be used to compare with future similar studies to see whether the Twitter use disparities have increased or decreased.Future research is also needed to examine the effects of Twitter use disparities on disaster resilience and to test whether Twitter use can predict community resilience. | Lei Zou Nina S.N.Lam Shayan Shams Heng Cai Michelle A.Meyer Seungwon Yang Kisung Lee Seung-Jong Park Margaret A.Reams | 2019 | International Journal of Digital Earth2019,12,11: | 2 |

| 16 | Machine Learning-Based Two-Stage Data Selection Scheme for Long-Term Influenza Forecasting显示文摘One popular strategy to reduce the enormous number of illnesses and deaths from a seasonal influenza pandemic is to obtain the influenza vaccine on time.Usually,vaccine production preparation must be done at least six months in advance,and accurate long-term influenza forecasting is essential for this.Although diverse machine learning models have been proposed for influenza forecasting,they focus on short-term forecasting,and their performance is too dependent on input variables.For a country’s longterm influenza forecasting,typical surveillance data are known to be more effective than diverse external data on the Internet.We propose a two-stage data selection scheme for worldwide surveillance data to construct a longterm forecasting model for influenza in the target country.In the first stage,using a simple forecasting model based on the country’s surveillance data,we measured the change in performance by adding surveillance data from other countries,shifted by up to 52 weeks.In the second stage,for each set of surveillance data sorted by accuracy,we incrementally added data as input if the data have a positive effect on the performance of the forecasting model in the first stage.Using the selected surveillance data,we trained a new longterm forecasting model for influenza and perform influenza forecasting for the target country.We conducted extensive experiments using six machine learning models for the three target countries to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.We report some of the results. | Jaeuk Moon Seungwon Jung Sungwoo Park Eenjun Hwang | 2021 | Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,9: | 1 |
