1Alterations in metastatic properties of hepatocellular carcinoma cell following H-ras oncogene transfection显示文摘AIM To demonstrate the relationship betweenH-ras oncogene and hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) metastasis.METHODS Activated H-ras oncogene wastransfected into SMMC 7721, a cell line derivedfrom human HCC, by calcium phosphatetransfection method. Some metastasis-relatedparameters were detected in vitro, includingadhesion assay, migration assay, expression ofcollagenase ⅣV (c ⅣV ase) and epidermal growthfactor receptor (EGFR).RESULTS The abilities of H-ras-transfected cellclones in adhesion to laminin (LN) or fibronectin(FN), migration, c Ⅳ ase secretion increasedmarkedly, and the expression of EGFR elevatedmoderately. 3Experimental Research on Sewage Outfall Diffusers显示文摘The influence of diffuser parameters, including the riser spacing, port number in a riser, injection angle, port arrangement, etc., on the surface initial dilution is experimentally investigated. The relative density difference between the effluent and the sea water in the model is the same as that in the prototype, and the effect of the cross current is simulated by an inverse model technique. Based on the result analysis, the arrangement with more ports in a riser and larger riser spacing is suggested to save construction cost. 4Nonlinear Dynamics and Stability of Neural Networks with Delay-Time显示文摘In this paper we study the dynamic properties and stabilities of neural networks with delay-time (which includes the time-varying case) by differential inequalities and Lyapunov function approaches. 7A MATHEMATICAL MODEL FOR RESERVOIR SEDIMENTATION AND FLUVIAL PROCESSES显示文摘This paper consists of two parts: mechanism of non-equilibrium transport of non-uniform sediment and its application in the mathematical model. Based on a statistic approach of sediment transport proposed by the authors, a 1 - D equation of non-e- quilibrium transport for various size group of sediment particles is developed. Then equations to predict change of sediment concentration and the corresponding changes in size distribution of suspended load and bed material are also derived. The conception that changes in size distribution are interrelated to sediment-carrying capacity is expounded. These results reveal the essence of sediment transport of non-uniform sediment particles. In the second part a mathematical model incorporating the mentioned equations to compute deposition and scouring in reservoirs as well as the fluvial processes of river channels has been developed. 8NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF THE MECHANICS OF SOIL REINFORCEMENT显示文摘Roots affect the soil stress and strain and contribute to soil reinforcement. An analysis of stress and strain in the root-soil composite is presented which combines roots, soils, and an interface element by using the Duncan-Chang E- model and a nonlinear-interface-element model. In this research, a finite element numerical analysis method was applied to simulate the stress field resulting in a composite of Pinus tabulaeformis roots and soils. Results show that roots can transmit the stress from surface soils to deep soils, and can reduce soil stress within the surface soil layer; results also show that the effect of soil reinforcement by roots is limited to surface soils. 9Effect of Berm Width and Elevation on Irregular Wave Run-Up显示文摘This paper discusses the effect of berm width and elevation of composite slope on irregular wave run-up. Based on the data obtained from model tests, the formula and distribution of irregular wave run-up on composite slope are derived. The changing of wind speed, width and elevation of the berm are considered comprehensively. 11Coupled BEM-FEM Analysis of the Large-Diameter Cylinder Structure System显示文摘A method of coupled BEM-FEM analysis for the elastic spatial structure system is presented. It can be applied to the calculation of the stress and deformation of the large-diamater cylinder structure system and it is suitable for symmetric or non-symmetric structures under the distributed or concentrated load. 13Investigation on Settling Characteristics of Floes in the Changjiang Estuary, China显示文摘- Settling characteristics of floes, including relative settling velocity, relative flocculation coefficient and flocculation exponent, are obtained by the suspended load equations for different size fractions. Data of the Changjiang Estuary suggest that level of flocculation changes from river section, river mouth (turbidity maximum) to offshore area in sequence of low, very high and high. 15Computational Techniques of 2D Tidal Flow in Estuaries and Bays显示文摘- Some problems in the numerical calculation of tidal flow in estuaries and bays, such as distribution bed roughness, relationship between model moving boundary and water volume balance, remedy of certain shortage under open boundary conditions, smooth transfer of the controlling message for the inner boundaries of nested model, can not be solved usually by means of the fundamental equations and computing mode adopted in the numerical model, but can be done by the measures which not only satisfy the physical features but also are convenient for operation. 16澳大利亚人乳头状瘤病毒疫苗计划实施5年对年轻人群生殖器疣患病情况的影响:国家调查数据分析显示文摘目的评估2007年中开始的澳大利亚人乳头状瘤病毒(HPV)疫苗计划对生殖器疣患病情况的影响。设计国家调查数据趋势分析。数据来源数据收集于2004--2011年度澳大利亚8所性健康服务机构;其中2所最大的临床中心收集了自我报告的本中心2009年度HPV疫苗现状。研究对象2004--2011年度首次就诊的85770名澳大利亚出生的国民;其中7686(9.0%)名患生殖器疣。主要结局测量比较前疫苗时期(2004—2007年中)和疫苗时期(2007年中-2001年末)不同人群生殖器疣新发病率变化趋势。结果疫苗时期21岁以下和21~30岁女性诊断患有生殖器疣的比例明显下降,发病率分别从2007年度的11.5%和11.3%下降至2011年度的0.85%和3.1%,P均〈0.001。在30岁以上的女性中未发现发病率的明显下降。在21岁以下和21~30岁异性恋男性人群中疫苗时期生殖器疣的发病率较前疫苗时期明显下降,分别由2007年度12.1%和18.2%下降至2011年度2.2%和8.9%,P均〈0.001。30岁以上的异性恋男性人群中发病率无明显下降。2011年235名21岁以下女性在使用HPV疫苗后无新发生殖器疣病例。结论年轻女性生殖器疣发病率的显著下降和2011年度部分年轻女性使用疫苗后的零发病率,说明HPV疫苗获得实验室外的良好功效。异性恋男性生殖器疣发病率的显著下降可能是由于群体免疫所致。Hammad Ali,lecturer Basil Donovan, professor HandanWand,senior lecturer Tim R H Read, sexual health physician David G Regan,senior lecturer Andrew E Grulich, professor Christopher K FaMey, professor Rebecca J Guy, associate professor 尹婕(译) 潘凌亚(校) 2013英国医学杂志中文版2013,16,4:4

20VERTICAL HEREDITY VS. HORIZONTAL GENE TRANSFER: A CHALLENGE TO BACTERIAL CLASSIFICATION显示文摘The diversity and classification of microbes has been a long-standing issue.Molecular phylogeny of the prokaryotes based on comparison of the 16S rRNA sequences of the small ribosomal subunit has led to a reasonable tree of life in the late 1970s. How-ever, the availability of more and more complete bacterial genomes has brought about complications instead of refinement of the tree. In particular, it turns out that different choice of genes may tell different history. This might be caused by possible horizontal gene transfer (HGT) among species. There is an urgent need to develop phylogenetic methods that make use of whole genome data.
