Theoretical analysis of mass distribution of quasifission for ^(238)U-induced reactions显示文摘Fragment mass distributions of quasifission induced by 238U on 16O,26Mg,32S,35Cl,40Ca and 65Zn targets at several bombarding energies have been calculated with the two-step model. The experimental data are reproduced consistently, and the mechanism of the distribution shape is also analyzed by investigating the diferent incident channels. | SHEN JunJie SHEN CaiWan | 2014 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2014,57,3: | 5
How accurately can we predict synthesis cross sections of superheavy elements?显示文摘Synthesis of superheavy elements beyond oganesson is facing new challenges as new target–projectile combinations are necessary. Guidance from models is thus expected for future experiments. However, hindered fusion models are not well established and predictions in the fission barriers span few MeVs. Consequently, predictions are not reliable. Strategies to constrain both fusion hindrance and fission barriers are necessary to improve the predictive power of the models. But, there is no hope to get an accuracy better than one order of magnitude in fusion–evaporation reactions leading to superheavy elements synthesis. | David Boilley Bartholome Cauchois Hongliang Lu Anthony Marchix Yasuhisa Abe Caiwan Shen | 2018 | Nuclear Science and Techniques2018,29,12: | 3
Fusion hindrance in the neck evolution of symmetric nuclear reactions显示文摘Fusion hindrance in the radial degree of freedom for massive nuclear reactions is known for a long time. However the present work shows that the fusion hindrance also exists in the neck evolution. We calculate the potential at different distances and different neck parameters by the two-center liquid drop model and then check whether fusion hindrance exists in the neck evolution by examing the sign of slope of potential vs. the neck parameter. The area of fusion hindrance in the neck evolution is shown. | WANG XiaoLin SHEN CaiWan LI QingFeng LIU Ling | 2011 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,3: | 2
Structure of high spin state in proton-rich ^(74,76,78)Kr isotopes:A projected shell model description显示文摘The N≈Z nuclei in the mass A^80 region has been researched because of an abundance of nuclear structure phenomena. The projected shell model(PSM)was adopted to investigate the structure of high spin state in proton-rich 74,76,78Kr isotopes including yrast spectra, moment of inertia, electric quadrupole transitions and the behavior of single particle. The calculated results are in good agreement with available data and the shape coexistence in low-spin is also discussed. | LIU YanXin YU ShaoYing SHEN CaiWan | 2015 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2015,58,1: | 1
The study of energy bands in nucleus ^(102)Zr显示文摘Theoretical calculations of the energy bands in nucleus 102 Zr are carried out by taking the projected shell model approach, which has reproduced the experimental data. In addition, by analyzing band-head energies, corresponding configurations of yrast band, quasi-particle rotational bands and side bands, we have worked out the microscopic formation mechanism of axially symmetric deformation bands: The low-excitation deformation bands are attributed to the high-j intruder states 1g 7/2 and 1h 11/2 in the N=4, 5 shells; the quasi-particles in the orbit v5/2-[532], v3/2+[411] and v3/2+[413] in particular play an important role in the deformation of 102 Zr. | DONG GuoXiang 1,2 , YU ShaoYing 1,2,3 , LIU YanXin 1 , SHEN CaiWan 1,2,4 & DONG YongSheng 1,2,5I School of Science, Huzhou Teachers College, Huzhou 313000, China 2 School of Science and Information Engineering, Zhejiang Normal University, Jinhua 321000, China 3 Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100080, China 4 Center of Theoretical Nuclear Physics, National Laboratory of Heavy Ion Accelerator of Lanzhou, Lanzhou 730000, China 5 Department of Physics, Jining Teachers College, Jining 012000, China | 2010 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,1: | 1

Difficulties in probing density dependent symmetry potential with the HBT interferometry显示文摘Based on the updated UrQMD transport model, the effect of the symmetry potential energy on the two-nucleon HBT correlation is investigated with the help of the coalescence program for constructing clusters, and the CRAB analyzing program of the two-particle HBT correlation. An obvious nonlinear dependence of the neutron-proton(or neutron-neutron) HBT correlation function(Cnp,nn) at small relative momenta on the stiffness factor γ of the symmetry potential energy is found:when γ 0.8,Cnp,nn increases rapidly with increasing γ,while it starts to saturate if γ 0.8.It is also found that both the symmetry potential energy at low densities and the conditions of constructing clusters at the late stage of the whole process influence the two-nucleon HBT correlation with the same power. | LI QingFeng SHEN CaiWan | 2009 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2009,52,10: | 1
An investigation of ab initio shell-model interactions derived by no-core shell model显示文摘The microscopic shell-model effective interactions are mainly based on the many-body perturbation theory(MBPT), the first work of which can be traced to Brown and Kuo's first attempt in 1966, derived from the Hamada-Johnston nucleon-nucleon potential. However, the convergence of the MBPT is still unclear. On the other hand, ab initio theories, such as Green's function Monte Carlo(GFMC), no-core shell model(NCSM), and coupled-cluster theory with single and double excitations(CCSD), have made many progress in recent years. However, due to the increasing demanding of computing resources, these ab initio applications are usually limited to nuclei with mass up to A = 16. Recently, people have realized the ab initio construction of valence-space effective interactions, which is obtained through a second-time renormalization, or to be more exactly, projecting the full-manybody Hamiltonian into core, one-body, and two-body cluster parts. In this paper, we present the investigation of such ab initio shell-model interactions, by the recent derived sd-shell effective interactions based on effective J-matrix Inverse Scattering Potential(JISP) and chiral effective-field theory(EFT) through NCSM. In this work, we have seen the similarity between the ab initio shellmodel interactions and the interactions obtained by MBPT or by empirical fitting. Without the inclusion of three-body(3-bd) force, the ab initio shell-model interactions still share similar defects with the microscopic interactions by MBPT, i.e., T = 1 channel is more attractive while T = 0 channel is more repulsive than empirical interactions. The progress to include more many-body correlations and 3-bd force is still badly needed, to see whether such efforts of ab initio shell-model interactions can reach similar precision as the interactions fitted to experimental data. | XiaoBao Wang GuoXiang Dong QingFeng Li CaiWan Shen ShaoYing Yu | 2016 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2016,59,9: | 0
Influence of coalescence parameters on the production of protons and Helium-3 fragments显示文摘The time evolution of protons and 3He fragments from Au+Au/Pb+Pb reactions at 0.25, 2, and 20 Ge V/nucleon is investigated with the potential version of the Ultrarelativistic Quantum Molecular Dynamics(Ur QMD) model combined with the traditional coalescence afterburner. In the coalescence process, the relative distance R0 and relative momentum P0 are surveyed in the range of 3-4 fm and 0.25-0.35 Ge V/c, respectively. For both clusters, a strong reversed correlation between R0 and P0is seen and it is time-dependent as well. For protons, the accepted(R0, P0) bands lie in the time interval 30-60 fm/c, while for 3He, a longer time evolution(at about 60-90 fm/c) is needed. Otherwise, much smaller R0 and P0values should be chosen. If we further look at the rapidity distributions from both central and semi-central collisions, it is found that the accepted [tcut,(R0, P0)] assemble can provide consistent results for proton yield and collective flows especially at mid-rapdities, while for 3He, the consistency is destroyed at both middle and projectile-target rapidities. | QingFeng Li YongJia Wang XiaoBao Wang CaiWan Shen | 2016 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2016,59,7: | 0
