1浙江绍兴印山大墓发掘简报显示文摘印山大墓位于浙江省绍兴县城西南,是春秋晚期越王的陵墓。该墓的墓圹和墓道总长达100米,是在印山之巅的岩石中凿出,上堆筑高大的封土墩,四周围绕印山开挖长方形的壕沟,构成8500平方米的陵园。印山大墓墓室用加工规整的巨大方木构筑,室内髹漆,横截面呈等腰三角形,形成长达34.8米、高约5米的长条形木屋,分为前中后三室。中室顺置的一长6米余的独木棺,采用一大型圆木一剖为二,再经掏挖而成。该墓虽早年被盗,随葬品较少,但其规模庞大,结构奇特,是我国近年来重大考古发现之一。据研究,该墓就是史书上记载的“木客大冢”,墓主应是越王勾践之父允常。本期刊发了印山大墓的发掘简报。The Institute of Archaeology of Zhejiang Province CPAM of Shaoxing County 1999文物1999,,11:24
2Different sperm sources and parameters can influence intracytoplasmic sperm injection outcomes before embryo implantation显示文摘To evaluate the effects of sperm with different parameters and sources on the outcomes of intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), 1972 ICSI cycles were analyzed retrospectively. Groups 1 to 5 were composed of cycles using ejaculated sperm and were grouped according to sperm quantity, quality, and morphology into normal (288 cycles), or mild (329 cycles), moderate (522 cycles), severe (332 cycles), and extremely severe (171 cycles) oligozoospermia and/or asthenozoospermia and/or teratozoospermia (OAT) groups. Group 6 was composed of 250 cycles using testicular or epididymal sperm, and Group 7 consisted of 80 cycles using frozen-thawed sperm. We found that fertilization rates were gradually reduced from Groups 1 to 6, and reached statistical difference in Groups 5 and 6 (P<0.05). The high-quality embryo rate was higher in Group 1 than in Groups 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7 (P<0.05). No statistical differences were observed in the rates of embryo cleavage, clinical pregnancy, miscarriage, live-birth, premature birth, low birth weight, weeks of premature birth, average birth weight, or sex ratio for all seven groups (P>0.05). A total of nine cases of malformation were observed, with a malformation rate of 1.25% (9/719). In conclusion, different sperm sources and parameters can affect ICSI outcomes before embryo implantation. 3Generation of a Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome monkey model by base editing显示文摘Many human genetic diseases,including Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome(HGPS),are caused by single point mutations.HGPS is a rare disorder that causes premature aging and is usually caused by a de novo point mutation in the LMNA gene.Base editors(BEs)composed of a cytidine deaminase fused to CRISPR/Cas9 nickase are highly efficient at inducing C to T base conversions in a programmable manner and can be used to generate animal disease models with single amino-acid substitutions.Here,we generated the first HGPS monkey model by delivering a BE mRNA and guide RNA(gRNA)targeting the LMNA gene via microinjection into monkey zygotes.Five out of six newborn monkeys carried the mutation specifically at the target site.HGPS monkeys expressed the toxic form of lamin A,progerin,and recapitulated the typical HGPS phenotypes including growth retardation,bone alterations,and vascular abnormalities.Thus,this monkey model genetically and clinically mimics HGPS in humans,demonstrating that the BE system can efficiently and accurately generate patient-specific disease models in non-human primates.Fang Wang Weiqi Zhang Qiaoyan Yang Yu Kang Yanling Fan Jingkuan Wei Zunpeng Liu Shaoxing Dai Hao Li Zifan Li Lizhu Xu Chu Chu Jing Qu Chenyang Si Weizhi Ji Guang-Hui Liu Chengzu Long Yuyu Niu 2020Protein & Cell2020,11,11:11

6Case Report:Lance-Adams syndrome:a report of two cases显示文摘Chronic post-hypoxic myoclonus, also known as Lance-Adams syndrome (LAS), is a rare complication of successful cardiopulmanry resuscitation often accompanied by action myoclonus and cerebellar ataxia. It is seen in patients who have un-dergone a cardiorespiratory arrest, regained consciousness afterwards, and then developed myoclonus days or weeks after the event. Worldwide, 122 cases have been reported in the literature so far, including 1 case of Chinese. Here we report 2 Chinese LAS patients with detailed neuroimagings. Cranial single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) of patient 1, a 52-year-old woman, showed a mild hypoperfusion in her left temporal lobe, whereas patient 2, a 54-year-old woman, manifested a mild bilateral decrease of glucose metabolism in the frontal lobes and a mild to moderate decrease of the N-acetyl aspartate (NAA) peak in the bilateral hippocampi by cranial [18F]-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomographic (PET) scan and cranial magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS), respectively. 10Functional hydrogel coatings显示文摘Hydrogels—natural or synthetic polymer networks that swell in water—can be made mechanically,chemically and electrically compatible with living tissues.There has been intense research and development of hydrogels for medical applications since the invention of hydrogel contact lenses in 1960.More recently,functional hydrogel coatings with controlled thickness and tough adhesion have been achieved on various substrates.Hydrogel-coated substrates combine the advantages of hydrogels,such as lubricity,biocompatibility and anti-biofouling properties,with the advantages of substrates,such as stiffness,toughness and strength.In this review,we focus on three aspects of functional hydrogel coatings:(i)applications and functions enabled by hydrogel coatings,(ii)methods of coating various substrates with different functional hydrogels with tough adhesion,and(iii)tests to evaluate the adhesion between functional hydrogel coatings and substrates.Conclusions and outlook are given at the end of this review.Junjie Liu Shaoxing Qu Zhigang Suo Wei Yang 2021National Science Review2021,8,2:4

12Nitric oxide-generating compound and bio-clickable peptide mimic for synergistically tailoring surface anti-thrombogenic and anti-microbial dual-functions显示文摘Application of extracorporeal circuits and indwelling medical devices has saved many lives.However,it is accompanied with two major complications:thrombosis and infection.To address this issue,we apply therapeutic nitric oxide gas(NO)and antibacterial peptide for synergistically tailoring such devices for surface anti-thrombogenic and antifouling dual functions.Such functional surface is realized by stepwise conjugation of NO-generating compound of 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetraacetic acid(DOTA)chelated copper ions(Cu-DOTA)and dibenzylcyclooctyne-(DBCO-)modified antimicrobial peptide based on carbodiimide and click chemistry respectively.The integration of peptide and Cu-DOTA grants the modified surface the ability to not only efficiently inhibit bacterial growth,but also catalytically generate NO from endogenous s-nitrosothiols(RSNO)to reduce adhesion and activation of platelets,preventing the formation of thrombus.We envision that the stepwise synergistic modification strategy by using anticoagulant NO and antibacterial peptide would facilitate the surface multifunctional engineering of extracorporeal circuits and indwelling medical devices,with reduced clinical complications associated with thrombosis and infection.Han Yu Shaoxing Yu Hua Qiu Peng Gao Yingzhong Chen Xin Zhao Qiufen Tu Minggang Zhou Lin Cai Nan Huang Kaiqin Xiong Zhilu Yang 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,6:3

15RELIABILITY ANALYSIS OF CRANE BRAKE PARAMETERS显示文摘The high failure rate of crane brake results from improper choice of braking torque. The mathematical model of reliability for the crane brake parameters is introduced. Based on large amount of actual data the parameter reliabilities of 5~50 t general overhead travelling cranes are calculated,the probabilities that the braking torque is less than the static torque acting on the axle when the load moves down are obtained. 16A chemo-mechanical model for fully-coupled lithiation reaction and stress generation in viscoplastic lithiated silicon显示文摘Development of stresses in silicon(Si) anodes of lithium-ion batteries is strongly affected by its mechanical properties. Recent experiments reveal that the mechanical behavior of lithiated silicon is viscoplastic, thereby indicating that lithiation-induced mechanical stresses are dependent on the lithiation reaction rate. Experimental evidence also accumulates that the rate of lithiation reaction is conversely affected by the magnitude of mechanical stresses. These experimental observations demonstrate that lithiation reaction and stress generation in silicon anodes are fully coupled. In this work, we formulate a chemo-mechanical model considering the two-way coupling between lithiation reaction and viscoplastic deformation in silicon nanoparticle anodes.Based on the model, the position of the lithiation interface, the interface velocity, and the lithiation-induced stresses can be solved simultaneously via numerical methods. The predicted interface velocity is in line with experimental measurements reported in the literature. We demonstrate that the lithiation-induced stress field depends on the lithiation reaction through two parameters:the migration velocity and the position of the lithiation interface. We identify a stress-mitigation mechanism in viscoplastic silicon anodes: the stress-regulated lithiation reaction at the interface serves as a 'brake' to reduce the interface velocity and mitigate the lithiation-induced stresses, protecting the Si nanoparticle anode from being subjected to excessive mechanical stresses.BUREBI Yi Ming JIA Zheng QU ShaoXing 2019Science China(Technological Sciences)2019,62,8:2
