1Black TiO2: What are exact functions of disorder layer显示文摘Among the substantial amount of photocatalyst materials,TiO2 has been enthusiastically studied for a few decades due to its outstanding photocatalytic activity and stability.Recently,black TiO2 consisting of approximately 2 nm of thin disorder layer around the surface showed surprisingly high solar hydrogen generation ability.The disorder layer of TiO2 can enhance its light absorption,charge separation,and surface reaction abilities,however exact fundamentals of photocatalytic water-splitting pathways are still ambiguous.Herein,recent progress and investigations on exact functions of disorder layer and its application in photocatalytic CO2 reduction will be discussed.Throughout the comprehensive studies on disorder layer of TiO2,disorder engineering on photocatalyst materials will suggest the further extension of developing solarfuel production technologies.Sungsoon Kim Yoonjun Cho Ryan Rhee Jong Hyeok Park 2020Carbon Energy2020,2,1:4
2Unassisted overall water splitting with a solar-to-hydrogen efficiency of over 10% by coupled lead halide perovskite photoelectrodes显示文摘Hydrogen is a promising future sustainable fuel candidate with boundless opportunities.Research into photoelectrochemical(PEC)water splitting based on a lead halide perovskite(LHP)has progressed significantly with the aim of more efficient solar hydrogen production.Herein,we unite a well-known photo-absorbing LHP with cost-effective water-splitting catalysts,and we introduce two types of monolithic LHP-based PEC devices that act as a photocathode and a photoanode for the hydrogen evolution reaction and oxygen evolution reaction,leading to efficient unbiased overall water splitting.Through the integration of these two monolithic LHP-based photoelectrodes,an unbiased solar-to-hydrogen conversion efficiency of 10.64%and a photocurrent density of 8.65 mA cm^(−2) are achieved.Ryan Rhee Tae G.Kim Gyu Y.Jang Gwangmin Bae Jung H.Lee Sunje Lee Sungsoon Kim Seokwoo Jeon Jong H.Park 2023Carbon Energy2023,5,1:1
