4Stability for a class of nonlinear time-delay systems via Hamiltonian functional method显示文摘This paper investigates the stability of a class of nonlinear time-delay systems via Hamiltonian functional method,and proposes a number of new results on generalized Hamiltonian realization (GHR) and stability analysis for this class of systems.Firstly,the concept of GHR of general nonlinear time-delay systems is proposed,and several new GHR methods are given.Then,based on the new GHR methods obtained,the stability of time-delay systems is investigated,and several delay-dependent sufficient conditions in term of matrix inequalities are derived for the stability analysis by constructing suitable Lyapunov-Krasovskii (L-K) functionals.Finally,an illustrative example shows that the results obtained in this paper have less conservatism,and work very well in the stability analysis of some nonlinear time-delay Hamiltonian systems.YANG RenMing WANG YuZhen 2012Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,5:6

8A CFD model for predicting the heat transfer in the industrial scale packed bed显示文摘Compared to the traditional lumped-parameter model, computational fluid dynamics(CFD) attracted more attentions due to facilitating more accurate reactor design and optimization methods when analyzing the heat transfer in the industrial packed bed. Here, a model was developed based on the CFD theory, in which the heterogeneous fluid flow was resolved by considering the oscillatory behavior of voidage and the effective fluid viscosity. The energy transports in packed bed were calculated by the convection and diffusion incorporated with gaseous dispersion in fluid and the contacting thermal conductivity of packed particles in solids. The heat transfer coefficient between fluid and wall was evaluated by considering the turbulence due to the packed particles adjacent to the wall. Thus, the heat transfer in packed bed can be predicted without using any adjustable semi-empirical effective thermal conductivity coefficient. 9Synthesis and combined properties of novel fluorinated cationic surfactants derived from hexafluoropropylene dimer显示文摘Three novel fluorinated cationic surfactants were prepared by adopting perfluoro-2-methyl-2-pentene as raw substrate. The as-obtained fluorinated cationic surfactants exhibited excellent surface properties, all of them can reduce the surface tension of water to below 20.00 mN/m at the critical micelle concentrations(CMC). The incorporation of SDS, AOS, APG or LAB into 2-(4-(3,3,4,4,5,5,5-heptafluoro-2,2-bis(trifluoromethyl)pentyl)benzamido)-N,N-dimethylethana-mine oxide 4 a could generate much lower CMC and surface tension value at the CMC than individual 4 a. Especially, the surface tension values of that combined APG/4 a can be reduced to 17.31 mN/m. 12Sources of particulate organic matter in the Chukchi and Siberian shelves: clues from carbon and nitrogen isotopes显示文摘The stable isotopic composition(δ13C andδ15N)and carbon/nitrogen ratio(C/N)of particulate organic matter(POM)in the Chukchi and East Siberian shelves from July to September,2016 were measured to evaluate the spatial variability and origin of POM.Theδ13CPOC values were in the range of−29.5‰to−17.5‰with an average of−25.9‰±2.0‰,and theδ15NPN values ranged from 3.9‰to 13.1‰with an average of 8.0‰±1.6‰.The C/N ratios in the East Siberian shelf were generally higher than those in the Chukchi shelf,while theδ13C andδ15N values were just the opposite.Abnormally low C/N ratios(<4),lowδ13CPOC(almost−28‰)and highδ15NPN(>10‰)values were observed in the Wrangel Island polynya,which was attributed to the early bloom of small phytoplankton.The contributions of terrestrial POM,bloom-produced POM and non-bloom marine POM were estimated using a three end-member mixing model.The spatial distribution of terrestrial POM showed a high fraction in the East Siberian shelf and decreased eastward,indicating the influence of Russian rivers.The distribution of non-bloom marine POM showed a high fraction in the Chukchi shelf with the highest fraction occurring in the Bering Strait and decreased westward,suggesting the stimulation of biological production by the Pacific inflow in the Chukchi shelf.The fractions of bloom-produced POM were highest in the winter polynya and gradually decreased toward the periphery.A negative relationship between the bloom-produced POM and the sea ice meltwater inventory was observed,indicating that the net sea ice loss promotes early bloom in the polynya.Given the high fraction of bloom-produced POM,the early bloom of phytoplankton in the polynyas may play an important role on marine production and POM export in the Arctic shelves.Renming Jia Xinyue Mu Min Chen Jing Zhu Bo Wang Xiaopeng Li A S Astakhov Minfang Zheng Yusheng Qiu 2020Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,9:2
13EMC10 governs male fertility via maintaining sperm ion balance显示文摘Infertility is a severe public health problem worldwide that prevails up to 15% in reproductive-age couples,and male infertility accounts for half of total infertility.Studies on genetically modified animal models have identifed lots of genes involved in the pathogenesis of male infertility.The underlying causes,however,remain largely unclear.In this study,we provide evidence that EMCIO,one subunit of endoplasmic reticulum (ER)membrane protein complex (EMC),is required for male fertility.EMC10 is significantly decreased in spermatozoa from patients with asthenozoospermia and positively associated with human sperm motility. Male mice lacking Emc10 gene are completely sterile.Emc10-null spermatozoa exhibit multiple defects including abnormal morphology,decreased motility,impaired capacitation,and impotency of acrosome reaction,thereby which are incapable of fertilizing intact or ZP-free oocytes.However,intracytoplasmic sperm injection could rescue this defect caused by EMC10 deletion. 16All-Solid-State Thin-Film Lithium-Sulfur Batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)system coupled with thin-film solid electrolyte as a novel high-energy micro-battery has enormous potential for complementing embedded energy harvesters to enable the autonomy of the Internet of Things microdevice.However,the volatility in high vacuum and intrinsic sluggish kinetics of S hinder researchers from empirically integrating it into allsolid-state thin-film batteries,leading to inexperience in fabricating all-solid-state thin-film Li-S batteries(TFLSBs).Herein,for the first time,TFLSBs have been successfully constructed by stacking vertical graphene nanosheets-Li2S(VGsLi2S)composite thin-film cathode,lithium-phosphorous-oxynitride(LiPON)thin-film solid electrolyte,and Li metal anode.Fundamentally eliminating Lipolysulfide shuttle effect and maintaining a stable VGs-Li2S/LiPON interface upon prolonged cycles have been well identified by employing the solid-state Li-S system with an“unlimited Li”reservoir,which exhibits excellent longterm cycling stability with a capacity retention of 81%for 3,000 cycles,and an exceptional high temperature tolerance up to 60℃.More impressively,VGs-Li2S-based TFLSBs with evaporated-Li thin-film anode also demonstrate outstanding cycling performance over 500 cycles with a high Coulombic efficiency of 99.71%.Collectively,this study presents a new development strategy for secure and high-performance rechargeable all-solid-state thin-film batteries.Renming Deng Bingyuan Ke Yonghui Xie Shoulin Cheng Congcong Zhang Hong Zhang Bingan Lu Xinghui Wang 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,5:1
