Impact of simultaneous assay, the PCNA, cyclinDl, and DNA content with specimens before and after preoperative radiotherapy on prognosis of esophageal cancer-possible incorporation into clinical TNM staging system显示文摘AIM: The aim of the present study is to use immunohistochemical methods to investigate the clinical implications of tumor markers in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and evaluate their impact on prognosis.METHODS: From November 1990 to December 1996, 47patients were treated with preoperative radiation followed by radical esophagectomy. All patients were confirmed pathologically as suffering from squamous cell carcinoma.Immunohistochemical stain was done for PCNA, cyclinD1 protein expression and DNA content analyzed by image cytometry. Kaplan-Meier method for single prognostic factor and log-rank test was used to test the significant difference. Cox stepwise regression model and prognosis index model were used for survival analysis with multiple prognostic factors.RESULTS: Radio-pathological change, T stage and N stage, as the traditional prognostic factors had statistical difference in 3-, 5- and 10-year survival rates. While, tumor cell proliferating marked PCNA, cyclinD1 and DNA content served as independent prognostic factors of esophageal carcinoma. There was definitely an identity between the single and multiple factor analyses. PI was more accurate to evaluate the prognosis of esophageal carcinoma.CONCLUSION: It is possible that tumor cell proliferating marked PCNA, cyclinD1 and DNA content would become the endpoints for evaluating the prognosis of esophageal carcinoma. | Shu-ChaiZhu RenLi Yu-XiangWang WeiFeng JuanLi RongQiu | 2005 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2005,11,25: | 17
A survey of safety separation management and collision avoidance approaches of civil UAS operating in integration national airspace system显示文摘Recent years have witnessed a booming of the industry of civil Unmanned Aircraft System(UAS).As an emerging industry, the UAS industry has been attracting great attention from governments of all countries and the aviation industry.UAS are highly digitalized, informationized, and intelligent;therefore, their integration into the national airspace system has become an important trend in the development of civil aviation. However, the complexity of UAS operation poses great challenges to the traditional aviation regulatory system and technical means. How to prevent collisions between UASs and between UAS and manned aircraft to achieve safe and efficient operation in the integrated operating airspace has become a common challenge for industry and academia around the world. In recent years, the international community has carried out a great amount of work and experiments in the air traffic management of UAS and some of the key technologies. This paper attempts to make a review of the UAS separation management and key technologies in collision avoidance in the integrated airspace, mainly focusing on the current situation of UAS Traffic Management(UTM),safety separation standards, detection system, collision risk prediction, collision avoidance, safety risk assessment, etc.,as well as an analysis of the bottlenecks that the current researches encountered and their development trends,so as to provide some insights and references for further research in this regard. Finally, this paper makes a further summary of some of the research highlights and challenges. | Xiangmin GUAN Renli LYU Hongxia SHI Jun CHEN | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,11: | 10

A large-scale multi-objective flights conflict avoidance approach supporting 4D trajectory operation显示文摘Recently, the long-term conflict avoidance approaches based on large-scale flights scheduling have attracted much attention due to their ability to provide solutions from a global point of view. However, current approaches which focus only on a single objective with the aim of minimizing the total delay and the number of conflicts, cannot provide controllers with variety of optional solutions, representing different tradeoffs. Furthermore, the flight track error is often overlooked in the current research. Therefore, in order to make the model more realistic, in this paper, we formulate the long-term conflict avoidance problem as a multi-objective optimization problem, which minimizes the total delay and reduces the number of conflicts simultaneously. As a complex air route network needs to accommodate thousands of flights, the problem is a large-scale combinatorial optimization problem with tightly coupled variables, which make the problem difficult to deal with. Hence,in order to further improve the search capability of the solution algorithm, a cooperative co-evolution(CC)algorithm is also introduced to divide the complex problem into several low dimensional sub-problems which are easier to solve. Moreover, a dynamic grouping strategy based on the conflict detection is proposed to improve the optimization efficiency and to avoid premature convergence. The well-known multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition(MOEA/D) is then employed to tackle each sub-problem. Computational results using real traffic data from the Chinese air route network demonstrate that the proposed approach obtained better non-dominated solutions in a more effective manner than the existing approaches, including the multi-objective genetic algorithm(MOGA), NSGAII, and MOEA/D. The results also show that our approach provided satisfactory solutions for controllers from a practical point of view. | Xiangmin GUAN Xuejun ZHANG Renli LV Jun CHEN Weiszer MICHAL | 2017 | Science China(Information Sciences)2017,60,11: | 8
A large-scale flight multi-objective assignment approach based on multi-island parallel evolution algorithm with cooperative coevolutionary显示文摘Due to the rapid increase of air traffic demand, the large-scale flight assignment plays a crucial role in reducing airspace congestion and economic losses via reasonably regulating the air traffic flow of China. In this paper, the large-scale flight assignment problem is formulated as a multi-objective model with consideration of the reduction of airspace congestion and flight delay. However, it is a large-scale combinatorial optimization problem with complex constraints and tightly coupled decision variables, which is difficult to deal with.Hence, an effective multi-objective optimization algorithm is proposed based on the multi-island parallel evolution framework(PEA) with a left-right probability migration topology. Multi-island PEA employs multiple evolution populations for solving the problem simultaneously, and the left-right probability migration topology for exchange individuals among populations to improve the efficiency of the cooperation of populations. Then the cooperative co-evolution(CC) algorithm is introduced for each population to further improve the searching capability. Simulation results using the real traffic data from the China air route network and daily flight plans demonstrate that the proposed approach can improve the solution quality effectively, showing superiority to the existing approaches such as the multi-objective genetic algorithm, the well-known multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition, a CC-based multi-objective algorithm as well as other two parallel evolution algorithms with different migration topologies. | Renli LU Xiangmin GUAN Xueyuan LI Inseok HWANG | 2016 | Science China(Information Sciences)2016,59,7: | 4

Effects of vitamin E on stroke: a systematic review with meta- analysis and trial sequential analysis显示文摘There are several previous studies on the association of vitamin E with prevention of stroke but the findings remain controversial. We have conducted a systematic review,meta-analysis together with trial sequential analysis of randomised controlled trials to evaluate the effect of vitamin E supplementation versus placebo/no vitamin E on the risk reduction of total,fatal,non-fatal,haemorrhagic and ischaemic stroke.Relevant studies were identified by searching online databases through Medline,PubMed and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials.A total of 18 studies with 148016 participants were included in the analysis. There was no significant difference in the prevention of total stroke(RR(relative risk)=0.98,95% CI 0.92-1.04,p=0.57),fatal stroke(RR=0.96,95% CI 0.77-1.20,p=0.73)and non-fatal stroke(RR=0.96,95% CI 0.88-1.05,p=0.35).Subgroup analyses were performed under each category(total stroke, fatal stroke and non-fatal stroke)and included the following subgroups(types of prevention, source and dosage of vitamin E and vitamin E alone vs control). The findings in all subgroup analyses were statistically insignificant. In stroke subtypes analysis, vitamin E showed significant risk reduction in ischaemic stroke(RR=0.92,95% CI 0.85-0.99,p=0.04)but not in haemorrhagic stroke(RR=1.17,95%CI 0.98-1.39,p=0.08).However,the trial sequential analysis demonstrated that more studies were needed to control random errors.Limitations of this study include the following:trials design may not have provided sufficient power to detect a change in stroke outcomes, participants may have had different lifestyles or health issues, there were a limited number of studies available for subgroup analysis, studies were mostly done in developed countries, and the total sample size for all included studies was insufficient to obtain a meaningful result from meta-analysis.In conclusion, there is still a lack of statistically significant evidence of the effects of vitamin E on the risk reduction of stroke.Nevertheless, vitamin E may offer some benefits in the prevention of ischaemic stroke and additional well-designed randomised controlled trials are needed to arrive at a definitive finding.PROSPERO registration number:CRD42020167827. | Hong Chuan Loh Renly Lim Kai Wei Lee Chin Yik Ooi Deik Roy Chuan Irene Looi Yuen Kah Hay Nurzalina Abdul Karim Khan | 2021 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,1: | 2
Analysis of terrestrial water storage changes in the Shaan-Gan-Ning Region using GPS and GRACE/GFO显示文摘Both the Global Positioning System(GPS)and Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment(GRACE)/GRACE Follow-On(GFO)provide effective tools to infer surface mass changes. In this paper,we combined GPS,GRACE/GFO spherical harmonic(SH)solutions and GRACE/GFO mascon solutions to analyze the total surface mass changes and terrestrial water storage(TWS)changes in the Shaan-Gan-Ning Region(SGNR)over the period from December 2010 to February 2021.To improve the reliability of GPS inversion results,an improved regularization Laplace matrix and monthly optimal regularization parameter estimation strategy were employed to solve the ill-posed problem. The results show that the improved Laplace matrix can suppress the edge effects better than that of the traditional Laplace matrix, and the corre-lation coefficient and standard deviation(STD)between the original signal and inversion results from the traditional and improved Laplace matrix are 0.84 and 0.88,and 17.49 mm and 15.16 mm,respectively. The spatial distributions of annual amplitudes and time series changes for total surface mass changes derived from GPS agree well with GRACE/GFO SH solutions and mascon solutions, and the correlation coefficients of total surface mass change time series between GPS and GRACE/GFO SH solutions,GPS and GRACE/GFO mascon solutions are 0.80 and 0.77.However,the obvious differences still exist in local regions. In addition, the seasonal characteristics, increasing and decreasing rate of TWS change time series derived from GPS,GRACE/GFO SH and mascon solutions agree well with the Global Land Data Assimilation System(GLDAS)hydrological model in the studied area, and generally consistent with the precipitation data.Meanwhile,TWS changes derived from GPS and GRACE mascon solutions in the SGNR are more reliable than those of GRACE SH solutions over the period from January 2016 to June 2017(the final operation phase of the GRACE mission). | Xianpao Li Bo Zhong Jiancheng Li Renli Liu | 2022 | Geodesy and Geodynamics2022,13,2: | 2
