| 1 | Antihyperglycemic activity,antihyperlipedemic activity,haematological effects and histopathological analysis of Sapindus mukorossi Gaerten fruits in streptozotocin induced diabetic rats显示文摘Objective:To investigate the antihyperglycemic and antihyperlipidemie properties of hydroalcoholic extract of fruits of Sapindus mukorossi Caerlen and its beneficial effect on haeniatological parameters with histopathological analysis in streptpzotocin induced diabetic rats.Methods:Sapindus mukorossi fruits extract(250 and 500 mg/kg body weight) and standard drug glybenclamide(0.5 mg/kg body weight) were administered to diabetic rats.Effect of extract on hyperglycemia,hyperlipidemia and hematological parameters was studied in diabetic rats.Histopathological changes in diabetic rat pancreas were also observed after extract and glybenclamide treatment.Results:Daily oral administration of Sapindus mukorossi fruits extract(250 and 500 mg/kg body weight) and glybenclamide for 20 days showed beneficial effects on blood glucose level(P<0.01) and lipid level.The extract has a favorable effect on the histopathological changes of the pancreas in streptozotocin induced diabetes.Conclusions: These findings reveal that the hydroalcoholic extract of Sapindus mukorossi fruits extract possesses antihyperglycemic and antihyperlipidemie properties.In addition.the extract can prevent various complications of diabetes and improve some haeniatological parameters. | Neeraj Verma G Amresh P K Sahu Neelam Mishra Anil P Singh Ch V Rao | 2012 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2012，5，7： | 14 |

| 3 | Anti-microbial principles of selected remedial plants from Southern India显示文摘Objective:To examine the anti-bacterial activity of leaf extracts of Morus alba L.(Moraceae)and Piper betel L.(Piperaceae),and seed extracts of Bombax ceiba L.(Borabacaceae).Methods:We have partially purified plant extracts by solvent extraction method,and evaluated the effect of individual fractions on bacterial growth using Escherichia coli(E.coli),Pseudomonas aeruginosa(P.aeruginosa) and Staphylococcus aureus(S.aureus) bacterial strains.Results:Compared with Morus and Bombax fractions,Piper fractions showed significant growth inhibition on all the three types of bacteria studied.The EtOAc-hexane fractions of Piper leaves exhibited significant antibacterial activity with minimum inhibitory concentrations(MIC) of 50 μg/mL culture against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.The EtOAc-fractions Ⅰ,Ⅱ,and Ⅳ inhibited bacterial colony formation on soft agar in addition to growth inhibition.A combination treatment of piper fractions with ampicillin resulted in significant growth inhibition in E.coli and P.aeruginosa,and combination with anticancer drug geldanamycin(2 μg/mL) showed selective growth inhibition against P.aeruginosa and S.aureus.Three major compounds,i.e.,eugenol,3-hexene-ol and stigmasterol,were primarily identified from Piper betel leaf extractions.Among the individual compounds,eugenol treatment showed improved growth inhibition compared with stigmasterol and 3-hexene-ol.Conclusions:We are reporting potential anti-bacterial compounds from Piper betel against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria either alone or in combination with drug treatment. | Tirupathi Rao G Suresh Babu K J Ujwal Kumar Sujana P A Veerabhadr Raoa Sreedhar AS | 2011 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2011，1，4： | 5 |
| 4 | 采用分生组织培养生产脱甘蔗黄叶病毒苗(英文)显示文摘【目的】尝试使用茎尖分生组织培养技术生产UP 01235和UP 0097 2个甘蔗品种的脱甘蔗黄叶病毒(SCYLV)脱毒组培苗。【方法】以大田染病和健康甘蔗植株的不同大小茎尖分生组织为外植体,经培养获得组培幼苗。采用1对甘蔗黄叶病毒特异性引物(SCYLV-615F:5′-ATGAATACGGGCGCTAACCGYYCAC-3′和 SCYLV-615R:5′-GT-GTTGGGGRAGCGTCGCYTACC-3′)进行RT-PCR分析,在6个月内每隔1个月检查1次组培苗是否存在病毒。【结果】当以1.5 mm茎尖进行培养时,获得的2个甘蔗品种的组培苗在温室种植,在生长期间未发现存在黄叶病毒,说明黄叶病毒已被消除;而以超过1.5 mm的茎尖为外植体时,PCR分析表明结果,所获得的组培苗存在黄叶病毒。【结论】对以1.0~1.5 mm茎尖培养获得的200多株组培苗进行温室繁殖,在生长期间均未发现黄叶病毒。 | Mishra S Rao G P | 2011 | 南方农业学报2011，42，1： | 3 |
| 5 | 浸渍硅胶薄层色谱板分离钴和镍及数字图像分析法定量(英文)显示文摘Thin layer chromatography(TLC) of cobalt and nickel has been performed on silica gel layers induced with alkali mediated cellulose extract.A novel combination of 10% aqueous solutions of Tween-20 and potassium thiocyanate in 1∶1(v/v) was identified as the best mobile phase for the selective separation of Co2+from Ni2+on the impregnated Silica Gel G layers.The chromatographic characteristics of the cations were studied and the limits of detection as well as the limits of quantification for Co2+and Ni2+were determined.The quantitative estimation of the cations was achieved from the digital image analysis of respective chromatograms.The proposed quantitative method was successfully applied with 0-0.50% error for the determination of Co2+from Ni2+in spiked samples of bauxite,soil and rock containing common cations such as Al3+,Fe2+,Ti4+,Zn2+,Mn2+,Cu2+,Cr6+,Mg2+,etc.under the optimized chromatographic conditions. | P A MOHAMED NAJAR R G SONALI M T NIMJE K V RAMANA RAO | 2012 | 色谱2012，30，10： | 2 |
