| 1 | Quantification and timing of porosity evolution in tight sand gas reservoirs:an example from the Middle Jurassic Shaximiao Formation,western Sichuan,China显示文摘The diagenesis and porosity evolution of the Middle Jurassic Shaximiao sandstones were analyzed based on petrographic observations.X-ray diffractometry.scanning electron microscopy observations,carbon and oxygen stable isotope geochemistry,fluid inclusion microthermometry,and thermal and burial history modeling results.The point count data show that secondary pores(av.5.5%) are more abundant than primary pores(av.3.7%) and are thus the dominant pore type in the Shaximiao sandstones.Analysis of porosity evolution indicates that alteration of sandstones mainly occurred during two paragenetic stages.Mechanical compaction and cementation by early chlorite,calcite,and quartz typically decrease the depositional porosity(40.9%) by an average of37.2%,leaving porosity of 3.7%after stage Ⅰ(<85 ℃,175-145 Ma).The original intergranular porosity loss due to compaction is calculated to be 29.3%,suggesting that mechanical compaction is the most significant diagenetic process in primary porosity destruction.Stage Ⅱ can be further divided into two sub-stages(Stage Ⅱ_a and StageⅡ_b).Stage Ⅱ_a(85-120 ℃,145-125 Ma) is characterized by late dissolution,which enhanced porosity by 8.8%,and the porosity increased from 3.7%to 12.5%.During stageⅡ_b(>120 ℃,125-0 Ma),the precipitation of late chlorite,calcite,quartz,and kaolinite destroyed 3.3%porosity,leaving porosity of 9.2%in the rock today. | Zheng-Xiang Lü Su-Juan Ye Xiang Yang Rong Li Yuan-Hua Qing | 2015 | Petroleum Science2015,12,2: | 13 |

| 3 | Antrodia Cinnamomea ameliorates neointimal formation by inhibiting infl ammatory cell infi ltration through downregulation of adhesion molecule expression in vitro and in vivo显示文摘The increased vascular infl ammation is a key event in the development of atherosclerotic lesions.Antrodia cinnamomea has been shown to promote anticancerogenic activity through decreasing infl ammation.However,the potential role of A.cinnamomea in cardiovascular diseases remains unexplored.Herein,using carotid arterial ligation models,we found that ethanol extract from A.cinnamomea(EEAC)signifi cantly inhibited neointimal hyperplasia in a dose-dependent manner,accompanied with the reduced expression of activated p65 and infl ammatory cytokines.We also show that EEAC ameliorated TNF-α-induced phosphorylation of p65 and pro-infl ammatory cytokine expression in both vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs)and macrophages in vitro.Mechanistically,EEAC suppressed expression levels of intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1)and vascular cell adhesion molecule(VCAM-1)in VSMCs,which attenuates the ability of monocytes/macrophages adhesion to VSMCs.Furthermore,the expression level of these adhesion molecules and infi ltration of monocytes/macrophages were also decreased in neointimal VSMCs of arteries pretreated with EEAC.Altogether,our results reveal a novel function of A.cinnamomea in suppressing vascular infl ammation upon ligation injury during neointimal formation,likely through inhibition of infl ammatory cell infi ltration via downregulating the adhesion molecules in VSMCs.Thus,A.cinnamomea may offer a pharmacological therapy to slow down disease progression in patients with vascular injury. | Yan Zhang Aijin Ma Hao Xi Ning Chen Rong Wang Chenhui Yang Jinbang Chen Pin Lü Fuping Zheng Wenyi Kang | 2021 | Food Science and Human Wellness2021,10,4: | 4 |
| 4 | Short-term climatic impacts of afforestation in the East Asian monsoon region显示文摘The influence of changes in vegetation cover on short-term climate over the East Asian monsoon region is simulated using the Community Climate System Model Version 3.5.The results show the annual mean surface air temperature significantly decreases by 0.93°C in response to afforestation over the East Asian monsoon region.Also,surface air temperature decreases by 1.46 and 0.40°C in summer and winter,respectively.The cooling is caused by enhanced evapotranspiration(ET) produced by increased forest cover.Evapotranspiration is greater in summer than in winter,so summer cooling is greater than winter cooling.The annual mean precipitation increases in response to afforestation,with a maximum of 7% in April.Water vapor increases significantly because of greater latent heat flux release.Meanwhile,afforestation leads to higher surface roughness,which decreases surface wind speed and induces an ascending air motion.These factors can produce more clouds and precipitation.Moreover,the surface albedo and the reflective solar radiation are reduced in response to afforestation. | MA Di LIU ZhengYu Lü ShiHua MICHAEL Notaro RONG XinYao CHENG GuangShan WANG FuYao | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,18: | 3 |
| 5 | A Novel Chitosan CpG Nanoparticle Regulates Cellular and Humoral Immunity of Mice显示文摘Objective To develop a safe and novel immunoadjuvant to enhance the immunity and resistance of animals against E. coli infection. Methods An 88-base immunostimulatory oligodeoxynuleotide containing eleven CpG motifs (CpG ODN) was synthesized and amplified by PCR. The chitosan nanoparticle (CNP) was prepared by ion linking method to entrap the CpG ODN that significantly promotes the proliferation of lymphocytes of pig in vitro. Then the CpG- CNP was inoculated into 21-day old Kunming mice, which were orally challenged with virulent K88/K99 E. Coli 35 days after inoculation. Blood was collected from the tail vein of mice on days 0, 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, and 49 after inoculation to detect the changes and content of immunoglobulins, cytokines and immune cells by ELISA, such as IgG, IgA, IgM, IL-2, IL-4, and IL-6. Results The CpG provoked remarkable proliferation of lymphocytes of pig in vitro in comparison with that of control group (P<0.05). The inoculation with CpG-CNP significantly raised the content of IgG, IgM, and IgA in the sera of immunized mice ( P<0.05). The levels of IL-2, IL-4, and IL-6 in the mice significantly increased in comparison with those in controls (P<0.05), so was the number of white blood cells and lymphocytes in immunized mice. The humoral and cellular immunities were significantly enhanced in immunized mice, which resisted the infection of E. coli and survived, while the control mice manifested evident symptoms and lesions of infection.
