1Estimating Soil Salinity in the Yellow River Delta, Eastern China——An Integrated Approach Using Spectral and Terrain Indices with the Generalized Additive Model显示文摘Soil salinity is one of the most severe environmental problems worldwide. It is necessary to develop a soil-salinity-estimation model to project the spatial distribution of soil salinity. The aims of this study were to use remote sensed images and digital elevation model(DEM) to develop quantitative models for estimating soil salinity and to investigate the influence of vegetation on soil salinity estimation. Digital bands of Landsat Thematic Mapper(TM) images, vegetation indices, and terrain indices were selected as predictive variables for the estimation. The generalized additive model(GAM) was used to analyze the quantitative relationship between soil salt content, spectral properties, and terrain indices. Akaike's information criterion(AIC) was used to select relevant predictive variables for fitted GAMs. A correlation analysis and root mean square error between predicted and observed soil salt contents were used to validate the fitted GAMs. A high ratio of explained deviance suggests that an integrated approach using spectral and terrain indices with GAM was practical and efficient for estimating soil salinity. The performance of the fitted GAMs varied with changes in vegetation cover.Salinity in sparsely vegetated areas was estimated better than in densely vegetated areas. Visible red and near-infrared bands, and the second and third components of the tasseled cap transformation were the most important spectral variables for the estimation. Variable combinations in the fitted GAMs and their contribution varied with changes in vegetation cover. The contribution of terrain indices was smaller than that of spectral indices, possibly due to the low spatial resolution of DEM. This research may provide some beneficial references for regional soil salinity estimation.SONG Chuangye REN Hongxu HUANG Chong 2016Pedosphere2016,26,5:6

3Carbon dots-incorporated CuSeO_(3)rationally regulates activity and selectivity of the hydrogen species via light-converted electrons显示文摘The chemoselective hydrogenation of structurally diverse nitroaromatics is a challenging process.Generally, catalyst activity tends to decrease when excellent selectivity is guaranteed. We here present a novel photocatalyst combining amino-functionalized carbon dots(N-CDs)with copper selenite nanoparticles(N-CDs@CuSeO_(3))for simultaneously improving selectivity and activity.Under visible light irradiation, the prepared N-CDs@CuSeO_(3)exhibits 100%catalytic selectivity for the formation of 4-aminostyrene at full conversion of 4-nitrostyrene in aqueous solvent within a few minutes.Such excellent photocatalytic performance is mainly attributed to the precise control of the hydrogen species released from the ammonia borane by means of light-converted electrons upon N-CDs@CuSeO_(3).Besides,the defect states at the interface of N-CDs and CuSeO_(3)enable holes to be trapped for promoting separation and transfer of photogenerated charges, allowing more hydrogen species to participate in catalytic reaction.Yuqi Ren Hongxu Zhang Caihong Hao Qing Chang Ning Li Jinlong Yang Shengliang Hu 2024Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,1:0
4Can forest bathing in spring enhance the positive psychological response of university students: A pilot study in Northeast China显示文摘Forest bathing is well known to be beneficial of the visitors’psychological changes with better emotion and mood. Most understanding about the psychological change of university students in response to forest bathing is mainly obtained by the profile of mood states(POMS)method:a psychological rating scale to assess the transient and distinct mood states.Although some other studies explored to use a new questionnaire to assess the psychological change of university students in the urban park, more detailed information is scarce. In this study,23 university students(12 female;aged 20-23)were recruited to walk for 3.5 hours in Nanhu forest park,Changchun,China on 22 and 23 May 2018,when they were arranged to walk in an urban routine simultaneously. It was found that these students instantiated more positive emotion in the urban forest. These positive psychological changes were accompanied by improved perception about personal details and school work.In contrast, participants walking in the urban environment did not feel any psychological change. Therefore, forest bathing can be taken as an active way to stimulate more positive psychological changes compared to the urban experience. However,as a pioneer project, this study suggests more studies by designing more specific questions about social contact affairs for university students’forest bathing.Wei Hongxu Wang Dan He Xingyuan Ren Zhibin An Baiyi 2018林业与环境科学2018,34,4:0
