| 1 | An efficient range-free localization algorithm for wireless sensor networks显示文摘Node positioning is a fundamental problem in applications of wireless sensor networks (WSNs). In this paper, a new range-free algorithm, called spring swarm localization algorithm (SSLA), is proposed for positioning WSNs. To determine the locations of sensor nodes, the proposed algorithm uses network topology information and a small fraction of sensor nodes which know their locations. Numerical simulations show that high positioning accuracy can be obtained by using the algorithm. | 2 | NDRG4 prevents cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury by inhibiting neuronal apoptosis显示文摘Cerebral ischemia is a major cause of mortality and long-term morbidity worldwide.NDRG4 has been shown to protect against cerebral ischemia,although the underlying mechanisms remain largely unclear.Here we found that NDRG4 expression was decreased in the brain tissues of ischemia/reperfusion(IR)rats,indicating increased apoptosis rates among cerebral cells.NDRG4 restoration via an adenovirus significantly attenuated cerebral infarct sizes and impairments in IR rats.Furthermore,adenovirus-mediated NDRG4 inhibited cell apoptosis in the brains of IR rats and regulated the expression of Bcl-2,Bax,caspase-3,and c-Fos.Moreover,we found that NDRG4 increased expression of BDNF,which is strongly related to cerebral ischemia and cellular apoptosis.Altogether,our findings demonstrate that NDRG4 protects cerebral IR injury by inhibiting cell apoptosis and regulates cerebral cell apoptosis by increasing BDNF expression.These results suggest that NDRG4 may be a therapeutic target for IR treatment. | Lan Wen Lei Liu Linyan Tong Jinfang Li Keming Zhang Qinbin Zhang Changqing Li | 2019 | Genes & Diseases2019,6,4: | 6 |
| 3 | Strength properties and evolution laws of cracked sandstone samples in re-loading tests显示文摘To study the strength properties and evolution laws of cracked sandstone samples in re-loading tests,strength and damage evolution properties of intact sandstone samples were first analyzed through the triaxial compression tests carried on TAW-2000 microcomputer control electro-hydraulic servo rock triaxial test system.Damage evolution models were established based on dilatancy properties realizing the real-time and quantitative evaluation of samples damage state in loading process.On this basis,samples with different damage were obtained by pre-peak,peak point,post-peak and residual strength stage unloading tests in the loading process of intact samples.The characteristics of the stress-strain curves and strength evolution laws were studied through the re-loading tests of samples with different damage under different stress states.The experimental results showed that the slope of stress-strain curves,peak strength and residual strength of cracked samples increased linearly with confining pressure and decreased linearly with damage.The equivalent cohesion decreased with damage in the exponential decay curves.The mechanics properties of samples transformed from strain softening to strain hardening with damage. | Yijiang Zong Lijun Han Qinbin Meng Yingchao Wang | 2020 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2020,30,2: | 3 |
| 4 | Experimental Study on the Interaction of Fine Water Spray with Liquid Pool Fires显示文摘An experimental study of the interaction of a fine water spray with liquid pool fires was performed. Spatially resolved droplet size, velocity distributions, and volume flux of the fine water spray have been obtained in two types of pressure-atomized fine spray, using LDAIAPV technology. A method to correct for the presence of droplets is presented and used to determine the heat release rate using a cone calorimeter system, the effects of water spray application on the heat release rate for liquid pool fires were studied. It was found that the volume flux of the water spray is an important factor to determine the liquid pool fire behavior. For the current experimental conditions, the flame was enlarged when lower volume flux of water is used, and suppressed significantly when larger volumes of water are used. Two opposing mechanisms compete when water sprays are applied, which is more complex than the halon agents, such as 1301.
