| 1 | Effect of ZrO_2 Content on the Properties of Diamond Grinding Wheel Vitrified Bond显示文摘The effect of ZrO2 content on the performance of vitrified bond was discussed. The results showed that when the ZrO2 content was less than 2 mol%, Zr4+ could enter into the glassy network as mending nets and agglomeration composition. In this case, with the increasing of ZrO2, the vitrified bond's bending strength increased and the expansion coefficient decreased. It was also found that the wetting angle between the vitrified bond and diamond got small because Zr4+ was enriched on diamond surface. When ZrO2 content was more than 2 mol%, a part of ZrO2 existing in vitrified bond as ZrO2 particles played the role in nucleating agents and promoting the separation of spodumene. | 2 | Nd isotopic variations and its implications in the recent sediments from the northern South China Sea显示文摘The chondrite-normalized REE distribution patterns in recent sediments from the northern South China Sea and surrounding areas are similar, with the HREE values being almost equal to or slightly higher, and the LaN/LuN ratio being lower, than PAAS standards. However, samples from the Xijiang River, a major branch of the Pearl River system, show opposite trends, i.e., with slightly lower HREE values and higher LaN/LuN ratio than PAAS. The distribution of Nd isotopes in sediments from the northern South China Sea was controlled by the Pearl River and the inshore area of South China, respectively. The volume of εNd(0) from inshore areas of southern China is apparently higher than that from the Pearl River, and εNd(0) values in offshore sediments and Taiwan Island are between these values. The results clearly show that εNd(0) volume in the northeastern South China Sea is higher than in the southwest part of the northern South China Sea, indicating different source rock types. The main source rock of the Pearl River sediment is carbonate types and affects sediment deposition in the southwest of the northern South China Sea, while the source rock in the inshore area of southern China, mainly Mesozoic and Cenozoic granites, contributes to sediments in the northeastern area of the northern South China Sea. Due to different source rock types, the HREE values and the volume of εNd(0) in recent sediments supplied by the inshore area of southern China are higher than those from the Pearl River. | 5 | Youjing granules ameliorate spermatogenesis in rats through regulating the prolifereation of spermatogonial stem cells显示文摘Male infertility has evolved from a common reproductive system disease to a major social issue.Youjing granule(YG)is a Chinese medicinal material used as a therapy method for tonifying the kidneys and removing dampness due to its pathogenic characteristics.YG has been shown to regulate sperm quality in clinical trials,but the underlying mechanism is not fully understood.The present study was aimed to explore the protective effects and mechanism of action of YG on male reproductive system damage caused by methyl methane sulfonate(MMS).We first established an infertility model of rats through oral administration of MMS and then treated with YG.To determine the effect of YG,spermatogenesis,microvascular density,and secretory function of Leydig cells and Sertoli cells in rats were assessed.Spermatogonial stem cells(SSCs)were co-cultured with mouse embryo fibroblast(MEF)cells as an in vitro cell model before exposure to serum containing YG.Furthermore,the proliferation and apoptosis of SSCs were measured.Results indicated that YG increased the expression of self-renewal and proliferation-related molecules such as glial cell line derived neurotrophic factor(GDNF)and fibroblast growth factor-2(FGF2),and improved the quality of sperm and the proliferation of SSCs.In conclusion,YG may protect spermatogenetic function of rats through regulating the proliferation and self-renewal of SSCs. | JIANG Xu-Ping SUN Yao-Xiang QIAO Bin ZHU Wen-jiao CHU Yu-Jiao SUN Miao-Miao ANG Ruije MA Tie-Liang ANG Zhi-An | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2022,20,8: | 1 |

| 8 | Constructing a stable cobalt-nitrogen-carbon air cathode from coordinatively unsaturated zeolitic-imidazole frameworks for rechargeable zinc-air batteries显示文摘Zeolitic-imidazole frameworks(ZIFs)derivations have widely emerged as an efficient air cathode of zinc-air batteries(ZABs)due to excellent bifunctional oxygen electrocatalysis performance.However,they are not stable enough for long-term operation of rechargeable ZABs because of weak association with current collector,especially under bending conditions for flexible ZAB devices.Here,we show that by purposely designing coordinatively unsaturated ZIFs via a facile morphology regulation,which can be chemically linked on acid-treated carbon cloth,a stable Co-N-C air cathode is therefore derived where Co nanoparticles(NPs)are uniformly confined within the Co-N-C matrix on carbon cloth(Co/Co-N-C/CC).Specifically,when without being stabilized from carbon cloth,the pyrolysis of ZIFs with different unsaturated coordination levels has a negligible impact on the bifunctional oxygen-catalyzed performance.The optimal Co/Co-N-C/CC catalyst assembled ZAB possesses a large open circuit voltage of 1.415 V and a high peak power density of 163 mW·cm^(−2) as well as excellent cycling durability upon 630 discharge–charge cycles with 61%voltage efficiency remained,largely exceeding those of a benchmark Pt/C-IrO_(2) catalyst assembled ZAB.The synergy between Co NPs and active Co-N-C sites via electronic interaction induces the outstanding bifunctional oxygen-catalyzed activity and cathode performance.The present work highlights the importance of unsaturated coordination structures in ZIFs precursors for the performance of derived nanostructures in integrated electrodes. | Tingting Wang Meng Liu Somboon Chaemchuen Jichao Wang Ye Yuan Cheng Chen Ang Qiao Francis Verpoort Zongkui Kou | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,7: | 0 |

| 11 | Characteristics and identification of Carboniferous volcanic lithofacies in Shixi area, Junggar Basin显示文摘The identification of volcanic lithofacies is the basis for establishing volcanic institutions and making high-quality reservoir predictions.As the formation of Carboniferous volcanic rocks in Shixi area of Junggar Basin is strongly related to the cyclonic period of volcanic eruption and the location of volcanic channel development,the lithological variety changes rapidly and the lithofacies are complex.Moreover,the volcanic rocks had undergone strong weathering modification at later stage,the identification of volcanic facies becomes more difficult.This paper uses core observation,thin section identification,logging data and seismic attributes to classify and identify the lithology and lithofacies,and to summarize the methods of lithology classification and lithofacies identification of volcanic rocks in the study area.The lithology is mainly andesite and dacite,followed by volcanic breccia and tuff.Basalt and rhyolite develop locally in a few localities.The lithofacies of Carboniferous Period in Shixi area mainly consists of intermediate-acid effusive facies,followed by explosive facies,with basic effusive facies being rare and thinly developed,according to the well data.The volcanic conduit facies is developed only in a few places.The lithofacies are mainly identified based on the characteristics of the logging curves and the combination of external morphology and internal structure of the seismic reflections.The research method of this paper provides a case for the study of Carboniferous volcanic rocks and the dissection of volcanic edifices in Shixi Area. | QIAO Shaozhong SHAN Xuanlong LI Ang YI Jian YIMING Ablimiti BIAN Baoli | 2022 | Global Geology2022,25,3: | 0 |
