| 1 | 广西布兵盆地么会洞新发现的早更新世人类化石显示文摘么会洞出土的人类牙齿化石,形态上与非洲南方古猿牙齿存在差别而与中国境内的直立人牙齿比较接近,可暂定为直立人(Homoerectus).共生的哺乳动物群中存在巨猿、爪兽、小猪、裴氏猪和小种大熊猫等华南早更新世巨猿动物群的代表性成员,明确显示么会洞人类化石的时代为早更新世.同时,么会洞动物群的总体面貌与2Ma的巫山龙骨坡动物群相似,表明两者的年代相近.目前,亚洲发现的早更新世人类化石不如非洲的多,而且在层位、年代和分类位置等方面仍有诸多争议.此种状况显然不利于探讨至今仍未有满意答案的人类起源与进化之谜.现在,么会洞所提供的层位清楚、时代可靠和特征明显的人类化石无疑有助于改善上述状况. | 王頠 Richard Potts 侯亚梅 陈运发 吴华英 袁宝印 黄慰文 | 2005 | 科学通报2005，50，17： | 18 |

| 3 | 人类活动影响下的生物多样性保护:中欧的植被演化及其启示显示文摘对历史时期欧洲中部地区植被历史的研究表明,人类活动不仅破坏了自然、导致植被的单一化,同时也对植被与景观的丰富度(多样性)产生影响。人类或家畜的干预使得一些半自然、高多样性的生境类型及相应的植被类型得以保持和发展;但过度的干扰势必造成植被的单一化和贫乏化,威胁生物多样性的保存和保护。当今的中欧植被格局总体上是近几个世纪,某些地区甚至是上千年来,人为干扰叠加在气候变化影响之上的综合产物。中欧大部分地区的潜在植被多为森林,如果没有人为活动的强烈影响,除了岩石、水体、海滩、林线以上的高山以及高位沼泽等特定生境的分布区域以外,当今中欧的大部分地区应当仍覆盖着郁闭的阔叶林,而不会表现出今天的多样性景观。因此,自然保护的对象不应当仅仅是'纯自然'植被,保护手段也不仅仅是'清除人为干扰'。在保护多样性思想的指导下,各种典型植被类型都是值得保护的,除了高自然度的自然生态系统外,栽培植被也应当被保存和保护,否则,它们会随着特定耕作或管理方式的消失而消失。同时,既应保护'当前植被',也要恢复'潜在植被',使目前多样的景观类型、植被类型和栖息地类型得以维持和发展。本文结论为解决当前欧洲自然保护中的争议性问题提供了依据,也可以为中国的生物多样性保护战略提供参考。 | Richard Pott 刘鸿雁 印轶 | 2011 | 生态学杂志2011，30，3： | 9 |
| 4 | Early Pleistocene hominid teeth recovered in Mohui cave in Bubing Basin, Guangxi, South China显示文摘Two hominid teeth recovered in Mohui cave are morphologically distinguished from Australopithecus in Af-rica, but close to Homo erectus in China. These teeth are therefore provisionally assigned to Homo erectus. The associ-ated mammalian fauna include Gigantopithecus blacki, Nes-toritherium sp., Sus xiaozhu, Sus peii and Ailuropoda microta, which are typical early Pleistocene taxa in South China. The general characteristics of the Mohui faunal assemblage are similar to the Longgupo site, which is dated to 2 Ma, imply-ing a contemporaneity for the two sites. To date, compared with the discoveries in Africa, far fewer early Pleistocene hominid fossils have been recovered in Asia, and there are intensive controversies concerning their stratigraphic prove-nience and typological and temporal positions. | 10 | Optimizing management in autoimmune hepatitis with liver failure at initial presentation显示文摘Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a disease of unknown etiology,its hallmark being ongoing hepatic inflammation.By its very nature,it is a chronic condition,although increasingly,we are becoming aware of patients with acute presentations,some of whom may have liver failure.There are very limited published data on patients with AIH with liver failure at initial diagnosis,which consist mostly of small retrospective studies.As a consequence,the clinical features and optimal management of this cohort remain poorly defined.A subset of patients with AIH who present with liver failure do respond to corticosteroids,but for the vast majority,an urgent liver transplantation may offer the only hope of long-term survival.At present,there is uncertainty on how best to stratify such a cohort into responders and non-responders to corticosteroids as soon as possible after hospitalization,thus optimizing their management.This editorial attempts to answer some of the unresolved issues relating to management of patients with AIH with liver failure at initial presentation.However,it must be emphasized that,at present,this editorial is based mostly on small retrospective studies,and it is an understatement that multicenter prospective studies are urgently needed to address this important clinical issue. | Jonathan R Potts Sumita Verma | 2011 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2011，17，16： | 3 |
