1A COMPARISON OF SOME ELECTRONIC COUNTERMEASURES ON INVERSE SYNTHETIC APERTURE RADAR (ISAR)显示文摘Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) is an important means for target classification, recognition, identification and many other military applications. A simulation model of ISAR system is established after analyzing the principle of ISAR imaging, and then several ECM (Electronic Counter Measurement) techniques are studied. Simulation experiments are done on the basis of such research. 2Phase noise filtering and phase unwrapping method based on unscented Kalman filter显示文摘This paper presents a new phase unwrapping algorithm based on the unscented Kalman filter(UKF) for synthetic aperture radar(SAR) interferometry.This method is the result of combining an UKF with path-following strategy and an omni-directional local phase slope estimator.This technique performs simultaneously noise filtering and phase unwrapping along the high-quality region to the low-quality region,which is also able to avoid going directly through the noisy regions.In addition,phase slope is estimated directly from the sample frequency spectrum of the complex interferogram,by which the underestimation of phase slope is overcome.Simulation and real data processing results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method,and show a significant improvement with respect to the extended Kalman filtering(EKF) algorithm and some conventional phase unwrapping algorithms in some situations.Xianming Xie Yiming Pi 2011Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2011,22,3:5
3SAR tomography imaging via higher-order spectrum analysis显示文摘To deal with the non-Gaussian noise in standard 2-D SAR images,the deramped signal in imaging plane,and the possible symmetric distribution of complex noise,the fourth-order cumulant of complex process is introduced into SAR tomography.With the estimated AR parameters of ARMA model of noise through Yule-Walker equation,the signal series of height is pre-filtered.Then,through ESPRIT,the spectrum is obtained and the aperture in height direction is synthesized.Finally,the SAR tomography imaging of scene is achieved.The results of processing on signal with non-Gaussian noise demonstrate the robustness of the proposed method.The tomography imaging of the scenes shows that the higher-order spectrum analysis is feasible in the application.Wang Jinfeng Pi Yiming 2009Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2009,20,4:2
4A NEW UNSUPERVISED CLASSIFICATION ALGORITHM FOR POLARIMETRIC SAR IMAGES BASED ON FUZZY SET THEORY显示文摘In this letter, a new method is proposed for unsupervised classification of terrain types and man-made objects using POLarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar (POLSAR) data. This technique is a combi-nation of the usage of polarimetric information of SAR images and the unsupervised classification method based on fuzzy set theory. Image quantization and image enhancement are used to preprocess the POLSAR data. Then the polarimetric information and Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) clustering algorithm are used to classify the preprocessed images. The advantages of this algorithm are the automated classification, its high classifica-tion accuracy, fast convergence and high stability. 5Azimuth space-variant properties of BiSAR with nonequal velocities显示文摘Bistatic SAR possesses characteristic of the azimuth space-variant when the velocities of transmitter and receiver are not equal. The geometric model of BiSAR with the parallel trajectories and the nonequal platform velocities is presented. Analyzing the motion relationship of transmitter and receiver, the formula of azimuth space-variant is derived in time domain. Via Taylor polynomial expansions, the azimuth space-variant is factorized by four terms: zero-order, first-order, second-order, and third-order term. And, their impacts on impulse response are illuminated. 6MULTI-REGION SEGMENTATION OF SAR IMAGE BY A MULTIPHASE LEVEL SET APPROACH显示文摘In this letter,a multiphase level set approach unifying region and boundary-based infor-mation for multi-region segmentation of Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR)image is presented.Anenergy functional that is applicable for SAR image segmentation is defined.It consists of two termsdescribing the local statistic characteristics and the gradient characteristics of SAR image respectively.A multiphase level set model that explicitly describes the different regions in one image is proposed.The purpose of such a multiphase model is not only to simplify the way of denoting multi-region by levelset but also to guarantee the accuracy of segmentation.According to the presented multiphase model,the curve evolution equations with respect to edge curves are deduced.The multi-region segmentationis implemented by the numeric solution of the partial differential equations.The performance of theapproach is verified by both simulation and real SAR images.The experiments show that the proposedalgorithm reduces the speckle effect on segmentation and increases the boundary alignment accuracy,thus correctly divides the multi-region SAR image into different homogenous regions.Fu Yusheng Cao Zongjie Pi Yiming 2008Journal of Electronics(China)2008,25,4:2
